The thing that has changed is that Swarming down Structures is easier then ever that is reason why open field matters, before swarming down structures was not us easy to do. Year ago open field didn't matter because garissons could hold easy vs rally and swarm and have great trades new commanders changed that and I hate it. Now kd which wins the field wins the kvk.

the only changes i made to my shortcut controls was i swapped the functions of the "F1 to F7 keys with the "1 to 7" keys so i can go back to using F1 to select all troops
At what point should you retreat & refresh your troops? I tend to let my marches die, but considering I don’t see many doing the same, I might be doing something wrong!
Depends on the situation. If your city is close to the fight refresh at half health. If its pass opening etc and need march far for fight you should sad face
Letting your marches die is rss and speed waste. When your march is very low it takes wayy more sev wounds and also is weaker and does less damage. If you fight next to your own city, I would say refresh very often. If bit far, dont let marches get under 100k troops imo.
Completely unrelated question, does anyone know if my crystal tech, crystal mine and crystal research center would reset if i were to tp back to my kingdom?
So I have been tryna play on the pc version but for some reason the game stutters a lot, like scrolling or clicking all animations are stuttered, my o has high specs and should be able to run game even at max settings,

I’ve been wondering how to use my Caesar in a non infantry march, since I want to use my Alex and Martel with Björn and Sun Tzu. Is Caesar 5512 with Minamoto 5411 possible? Otherwise I’d have to either use an epic commander, CC or El Cid.

I know how to fight smart and when to fight like a maniac.
BTW 307 lost Kvk bcs they couldnt hold field for 4 hours if they would have 960 might have lost IMO.

for the pc version i found that useing 2 control groups when you are at different places of the map is very helpfull

just fight a barb when you're really low and sad face that way

Caesar is just a waste and Hermann Imhotep is decent in kvk2 I just prefer not to have an archer march and if u have do Edward and Tomyris it's good

Preset has three but is set for an expansion. No expansion on defaulted to removing one of the secondary troop types
