Yeah the evolutionary tree was an excuse to put the MCX and CMMG along with all the 5.56 rifles. I know that they are all functionally different from the AR platform despite being based off of the original platform. I also realize that typing this out was pointless as the people who will "correct me" will do so regardless. Darn

Leviticus, I believe you’ve forgotten about some key points regarding the how and why of TX-15 species. Due to their experience through the Adar stage, they have learned to be careful of CQB. Combined with their more varied attachment options, they are more likely to use LPVO’s and or alternate compact collimators.
In addition, through their weakness of fire rate, they have learned to use smaller magazines and are more likely to use top tier ammunition, as the total cost is lesser compared to their M4A1 and HK416 brethren. The increase in ergo directly affects their CQB, although unintended.
And finally, the TX-15 species might find themselves lacking in stopping power, leading to a movement towards Marksman Rifles. This last possibility is extremely important, as it can serve as proof of concept towards the cross breeding of mid tier DMR and AR species into the current Top End DMR species.
The TX-15 user will likely end up becoming an SR-25 chad.
TX-15 sounds so similar to Texas that I accidentally call it the Tex-15. 😆

@@Vesperninja the HK416 is an AR-15 platform weapon. Sure the upper is changed around a bit since it's piston driven, but the upper and lower are both completely compatible and interchangeable with uppers and lowers from standard AR-15 rifles.

Fun fact: the g36 and HK 416 are both AR pattern rifles, particularly, the AR-18, the main addition in them over the AR-15 is a more reliable, gas operated internals.
