I always love pre wipe roleplay, go in with the clone trooper mask with some full Auto bullet hose and screaming on voip, "There they are, blast em!" Before engaging every enemy.
You forgot one: The IRS. These demons are armed with only the best of the best loadouts, and care little about the cost so long as they can get what they came for: taxes. At first glance, these players are very similar to how the DEA operates, but after some unfortunate PMC drops their weapon, they realize stark differences. The IRS is armed with meta M4 builds, Hexgrids/Slicks, EXFILs, and whatever very expensive armor piece they can get their hands on. They also demand as much money as you can give them, whether it be Roubles, Dollars, or Euros. If you have no money, they will demand the most expensive items you have on you. If you refuse, they will quickly kill you and then take what they deem to be valuable.
Honestly the @10:00 mark is pretty much why the devs need to add a buddy medical system where you can work on a teammate while they also either work on themselves or are engaging an enemy. Would be a whole new meta to team gameplay.

On top of this, tiers of painkillers would be great, like golden star, vaseline are a tier 1 painkiller, you can't walk or run with an broken/blacked leg, but it will remove pain but not enough to do things like self heal broken bones.. ibuprofen, analgin, augmentin, etc are tier 2, you can walk with a broken/blacked leg, it gets rid of pain, and lets you heal stuff like broken bones, and then tier 3, morphine, terragroup stims, etc, and you can run on broken legs, and do self surgery on yourself. It hurts solo players but, isn't that the point?
@@sourrrrrrrr despite 1. Not being a solo and 2. Loving the realism this game has, tiered painkillers would be an absolute bitch and it would either divide the community heavily, possibly leading to BSG making bad decisions (which they don’t need much help to do anyways), or it’ll just be hated by everyone and (hopefully) get removed promptly. It is a video game after all, we don’t need full realism, especially if it hurts players or the general playability of the game

I actually met a dude with a friend who sat in the corner looking like a scav. We didnt shoot him and he later asked us to promise we wont shoot him as we neared the scav extract. He was actually a player, sadly we never got to add each other

I love strolling into a new game all High Fashion like... in fact getting killed only makes me smile... Because i 💯 percent know my killer will stare at my lifeless character and think "Damn, Where did she get that drip from"
The aussie Roleplay can also be interchanged with a rare rhodesian Roleplay, but that will get your average youtuber demonetized so play at your own risk
This is peak Tarkov. could you do a video where you go around trying to arrest people as UN or just a swat force using MP5's M4's and the benellie M3 and maybe an M700? i'd love to see that
being able to med someone else is something I've NEVER thought about before, it would be awesome to triage another player and see they have heavy bleeding and a broken leg (then use those meds on them) this would apply to PMCs/Player Scavs and AI as well (AI attempting to provide first aid to another AI)
Sometimes I try to be a friendly neighborhood medic. That would make things so much cooler for me, rather than drop meds at someone and call it a day. The sad part is usually I get treated the way most friendlies do. Shot in the face on sight, or in the back after pretending to return my hospitality. Fucking sweats. Of course, my self-defense Tokarev is so much worth being a d-head, right? Totally worth it. Or the ammo expended.
That being said, I don’t necessarily “role play” but I do at least build kits in ways that fit specific roles and look the part somewhat. “Meta” can suck my entire ass. Like, I don’t mix different colors of attachments just to save money for example. If I’m using a scope/LPVO, I’ll hang back more in a group and provide overwatch. It’s actually really fun playing with one buddy who isn’t that good at the game, but actually has irl combat experience. I’ve had some of my best raids with that guy. Not in terms of pure profit/kills or whatever, but it was like experiencing the game in a whole different way. Took it slower, comms were perfect, and there was actually moments of just chilling and taking in the environment more when providing overwatch. Probably the most fun I’ve had in Tarkov tbh.
Under the correct economic models, I would not be surprised to see people RP in Tarkov just for the fun of it. Also, do not forget the Captain Price RPers, who are possibly the most practical and lethal Roleplayers in Tarkov.
I used to do this thing on old woods, where I would equip all of the camo shit i could find, wear no backpack, and bring an sks with a scope on it, just to people watch from a distance and see what the other pmc's were up to (:
I love how in the larpers bit it shows that you positively never play like that. Slow voicecoms, no TL, no contact callouts, no covering fire and no flashlight/muzzle discipline hahaha amazing XD
I wouldn't go as far to say that I truly role-play, but I do play like I'm really on a mission and all alone. I walk to every single location and rarely run to kind of breathe in the atmosphere.
Me and my pals did something similar to the DEA at 10:50 and go as Tarkov Riot Police We’d all wear the Djeta Riot Helmet (I know the Kolpak exists, but the Djeta looks cooler) and a Security Vest with black armor (usually a PACA or a THOR). As for the loadout, we’d bring flashes and smoke grenades, both for cover and for “tear gas”. As far as weapons go, most of the time it’s shotguns or any other of the weapons used by the Russian police force (KEDR, KS-23, AKs)
This is why i play Single Player Tarkov. It lets me wear and use whatever I want without having to deal with chads rocking airframes and drum mags on Glocks spraying every corner on the map
The problem with roleplay in Tarkov is this: you either pick meta that is part of your roleplay of “tactical operator who is tacticaly operating with his tactical operator buddies” or you gear is shit and you MUSTA have great advantage (position, skill, rng, your opponents gear, Nikita’s blessing) to win a fight
I play with my 4 dudes, we are all rocking full standard russian military gear, all looking exactly the same and our weapons are: 3 simple AK-74m's on good ammo, 1 RPK-16 on drums and mid/shit ammo + 1 SVD with scope and lots of different grenades. We use voice chat instead of discord while playing, and during firefights we always scream things like "i got him 200", "this room's clear", "im moving in, cover me" and so on and some players we come across play into it, also using their VOIP to say some immersive stuff.
For anyone looking to run a RusFor kit, I have one that is halfway decent (unfortunately we don't have a lot of the real Ratnik stuff, just a handful). Here's how it goes: - 6B47 Ratnik (floral cover optional, but recommended) - GSSH-01 headset - Any grey balaclava or facecover (Cold Fear is best, half-mask is cheapest) - 6b anti-frag goggles - Summer Field top and bottom (we don't have any digi floral bottoms to match the Boreas top, so older camo will have to work) - 6B13 (digi) or 6b23-1 armor - UMTBS scout rig - AK-74M (Obzor/1P78, rubber buttpad, and PP/BP/BT/7N40/Igolnik ammo in the mags) - Berkut backpack (Raid pack is bigger and more accurate, but rare and expensive, so I choose Berkut) - RGD grenades The idea is to run this kit in a group, and patrol maps with RUAF roadblocks/checkpoints (or, ideally, do a 'clean up' of the Reserve base) and see if you can arrest or put down non-friendly combatants, thus bringing peace back to Tarkov.
An idea if you want a newer/more realistic? (depends on the options you choose and how you look at it) RusFor kit: - 6B47 floral cover OR LShZ OR TC-2002 (don't remember what the Russian helmet is called and too lazy to google it, but there is a similar-looking one and it's not in Tarkov (at least yet), so let's work with what we have) OR UX PRO beanie or army cap floral camo - GSSh OR ComTac 2 or M32 headset (similar case as with TC-2002) OR no headset - Cold Fear balaclava OR green shemagh OR no facecover - 6B goggles OR no goggles - RFArmy or white armband OR no armband - Summer Field top and bottom OR Tigr top and bottom OR, if you want more customized, long time in the field "I bought my own stuff" look, Recon bottom with either Telnik or Volk or Zaslon top OR, if you want the same but not all green, either Gorka SSO or Gorka Cobra bottom with either Tigr or G99 top - 6B23-1 or Zhuk-6A OR green or tan Slick OR Killa armor (6B13M tan) OR ANA Tactical M1 or ANA Tactical M2 OR Ars Arma A18 OR Strandhogg OR Ars Arma CPC MOD.2 - ANA Tactical Alpha or 6Sh112 Scout-Sniper for the green color-based or standart uniform look OR GC-BSS-MK1 or Wartech MK3 for the tan color-based/mixed or customized look - Any of the AK-74 variants (including AKS-74U) (I won't mention the attachments, because that would require a whole separate longread, tbh - will maybe add it later in a separate comment) OR AK-103 OR, if you want, you may use a modded AK-105 or RPK-16 to imitate AK-12 - ANA Tactical Beta 2 OR tan or camo Gruppa 99 backpack (either T20 or T30, doesn't really matter) OR LBT-1476A 3Day Pack OR Berkut OR MBSS OR Raid 2 or 6Sh OR VKBO army bag OR tactical sling bag - RGD-5, F-1, RGO, RGN for frag grenades, RGD-2B and M18 for smoke - 6Kh5 Bayonet knife OR MPL-50 entrenching tool OR Taiga machete OR no melee The rp idea is pretty similar to the original - patrol maps with RUAF and MChS infrastructure, try and clean up or raid Reserve, Lighthouse (rogues base) or Shoreline (resort, power plant, port terminal), try and take Factory under control, check the presumed abandoned USEC infrastructure. Depending on the situation (and personal preferences of the roleplayers), either consider all contacts hostile (but try friendly/"come out with your hands up" approach if you hear Russian voip or voicelines (only really appliable to Russian-speaking players, tho)) or try taking contacts prisoner and escorting them to extract (take them out if they resist or if there's a risk of them escaping and the situation allows to prioritize that). P.S. I also have ideas for the Russian military force recon, Wagner group-based PMC staff, SSO, GU or Zaslon operators and MVD, FSB or Rosgvardia (National Guard) operators. Will maybe describe them later in separate comments, similar to the gun attachments part.
First time I heard ‘I was only 19’ was at the end of the movie ‘The battle of Long Tan’ where all the names of the Australian boys who died that day are scrolling up the screen. Couldn’t help but weep, it was so heart wrenchingly sad. None of them were over 22
You forgot the Mandalorian, Jason, and homeless role players. Met a guy pretending to be a hobo and was asking for money outside the mall at Interchange!
im going to be honest ive played this game for 3 years and i still quake in fear when i hear a group of squaddies giving TACTICAL callouts like "clear" "breaching" "stack up" usually and this is from experience they are either SF or active military still a scary foe indeed
Nah, my favorite is soviet-afgan vet with ptsd, stock AKM and enouph ammo to wipe half of a map. Its a shame we dont have artillery and grach to cover. You could also roleplay that one hill.
My fav kind of roleplayers are the "Scav boss" roleplayers, who have one person as the scav boss and the rest as guards. Honestly for 100k... Maybe a custom game of a bunch of these scav bosses fighting it out to be the ultimate scav boss
In regards to RP what I will say is that it’s a shame basic squad tactics very rarely (if ever) have any viable use in EFT bc the meta is and always has been: buy SMG, buy stupidly large magazine, hold left click = win game. If you want to win the game of Tarkov all it takes is an SMG with a comically large magazine. For a game that wants to be the most authentic/realistic they do a very poor job/representation of how real weapons function and are employed. I’ve never played any hardcore RP on EFT (because it’s within your best benefit to spurg and basically play COD) but basic squad movements, covering fields of fire, suppressive fire, surrounding a target, etc. are all largely meaningless because unless you sprint blindly toward the enemy mag dumping and spamming G you’re wasting your time. In the hundreds of hours I’ve poured into EFT I’ve noticed the trend that if you want a win or survive a raid you need do nothing more than buy an SMG of some sort, buy comically large mags, and aim in the general direction of bad guys and you’ve secured a headshot rinse repeat. Don’t @ me with: “bro, come on bro, it’s super realistic bro believe me.” If you can solo clear an entire raid because of things you’ve bought vs skill this is basically a slightly more authentic version of COD.
@@rooknado you obvi haven’t played enough EFT then if you think SMG’s and a brainless play style won’t work on those larger maps. I’ve had countless situations of being rushed, killed, suppressed etc. because of an SMG with a 60+ or 80+ round magazine. If you think that’s false then go out and play more and it’ll start to happen don’t fret
@@jamesblack5425 been gone a couple wipes? SMGs arent meta, grenade spam has been hampered, and no serious players use any of the larger than 60 round mags.

ok, the movie tactical guys were really effective. Good comms, working as a unit, they used good bounding and had decent room clearing. Some things they could have done better, using actual doctrine but overall... not bad. The DEA part was just hysterical.

- ANA Tactical Beta 2 OR tan or camo Gruppa 99 backpack (either T20 or T30, doesn't really matter) OR LBT-1476A 3Day Pack OR Berkut OR MBSS OR Raid 2 or 6Sh OR VKBO army bag OR tactical sling bag

The rp idea is pretty similar to the original - patrol maps with RUAF and MChS infrastructure, try and clean up or raid Reserve, Lighthouse (rogues base) or Shoreline (resort, power plant, port terminal), try and take Factory under control, check the presumed abandoned USEC infrastructure.
@@PPWRUP I know this comment is old but, could you describe the Wagner one? Sorry for any inconvenience!
First time I heard ‘I was only 19’ was at the end of the movie ‘The battle of Long Tan’ where all the names of the Australian boys who died that day are scrolling up the screen. Couldn’t help but weep, it was so heart wrenchingly sad. None of them were over 22
12:12 Literally sounds like a no-knock raid. Well done. 😂
I think we all know the Best Tarkov playstyle is the hatchling
Doesn't count as roleplay but when running as a four man, we encircled a duo. Killed one and let the other leave/live after he dropped his firearms.
THE AUSSIE SCENE WAS PURE CHAOS;
MUCH LIKE VIETNAM. 10/10.
I remember running UN stuff with the boys back when the co-op extract events were first happening and nobody had voip
I really need a PVE Tarkov to do tacticool shit with the boys
Spt aki
You forgot the Mandalorian, Jason, and homeless role players. Met a guy pretending to be a hobo and was asking for money outside the mall at Interchange!
That DEA bit was hilarious xD
im going to be honest ive played this game for 3 years and i still quake in fear when i hear a group of squaddies giving TACTICAL callouts like "clear" "breaching" "stack up" usually and this is from experience they are either SF or active military still a scary foe indeed
True Soviet Leadership : "Falls back, get Kommisard"
Best moment
Really great job including Avery 's music in this!
damn, everytime i watch these vids, i just think to myself, this dude needs a job on the national geographic channel 👍
Nah, my favorite is soviet-afgan vet with ptsd, stock AKM and enouph ammo to wipe half of a map. Its a shame we dont have artillery and grach to cover.
You could also roleplay that one hill.
Well, fill every available slot with a a grenade than, was also a practice.
I've run into bail enforcement agents, moonshiners, cowboys, and templars.
My fav kind of roleplayers are the "Scav boss" roleplayers, who have one person as the scav boss and the rest as guards. Honestly for 100k... Maybe a custom game of a bunch of these scav bosses fighting it out to be the ultimate scav boss
Love quoting lines from ready or not. Especially in 4-5 mans.
i really appreciate the transparency
good video!
8:12 as an Arma milsim player this hurts my heart
Larping is even more fun when with your old section mates. Reliving the days of basic are fun
i laughed so hard on the un and soviet ones 10/10 good job to you sir
The single best depiction of the Soviet squadron.
Imagine having the best weapon and armour money can buy and got killed by a soviet ww2 era squad
Don’t @ me with: “bro, come on bro, it’s super realistic bro believe me.” If you can solo clear an entire raid because of things you’ve bought vs skill this is basically a slightly more authentic version of COD.
yeah bro good luck with your smg on woods. or reserve. or shoreline. or lighthouse. or customs. hope you hit your shots.
sounds like a skill issue
Precisely
@@rooknado you obvi haven’t played enough EFT then if you think SMG’s and a brainless play style won’t work on those larger maps. I’ve had countless situations of being rushed, killed, suppressed etc. because of an SMG with a 60+ or 80+ round magazine. If you think that’s false then go out and play more and it’ll start to happen don’t fret
@@jamesblack5425 been gone a couple wipes? SMGs arent meta, grenade spam has been hampered, and no serious players use any of the larger than 60 round mags.
It takes me a bit because I'm not that good at the game, but my cosplay begins at lvl32 BEAR. Once I get the ghost marksman jacket I buy the ghuillie hat and cosplay as a SniperScav with a classic Mosin sniper 👌
or, alternatively, live our your Stalker dreams in Tarkov
I'm starting to believe he just makes this up as he goes
When a full UNTAR squad comes after you like the IRS in dorms.
I see Avery Alexander gave you permission for his dope ass music. Dude, the sweats and DEA atthe end were AWESOME! I am so gunna dothat noe!
12:20 "Stop Resisting!" KKona
Fun Fact: When they say they are friendly they are ! role with them and you have the best raids of youre life ! got a tone of great interaction with these even before voip i love them
Haven't even started watching and gave a thumbs up
It's either drip or down, and brother I'm FUCKING SWIMMING.
i love how you keep rating your voice in the intro
"eh voice guy"
one of the best geos hhhh, great work man
"HANDS IN THE FUCKING AIR"
*mag dumps*
7:23 I couldn't tell if that was actual footage from LiveLeak or in-game damn
13:27 "it never panned out & we always just shot them" : America after every *liberation
Never thought I would hear slim dusty in a tarkov vid.
I LOVE the UN RP, everyone plays USEC, binds "Stop!" to F2 and goes to town
I kinda want custom servers introduced to the game so there can be roleplay or somethin
This video earned you a subscriber.
I like to use the ratnik equipment to try to mimic the Russian infantry, it’s actually pretty good for its price
Green bean army!
Make sure to use a Mosin Nagant and rusty AK
Evolution of the overworked student please!!!
yes
Also, I did roleplays of 2003 SWAT movie with guards jacket and black ulach, and we did USMC 2006 , then, Afghan and chechnya
to recreate swat and usmc we used m4a1 with black ris and Acog upon carry handle, we also used a beat of cheat with trijicon upon acog
7:25 is this The Naked Gun 2½ reference?
Man They really are invested I like it.
Great as always
4:02 😂😂😂
You are the best !! Keep it up !
When I saw FALs I assumed Rhodesia first tbh
Great vid as always
3:46, dude, that was an execution by firing squad lmao
Trust me, you have more lvls of RolePlayers in games like ARMA. A place where you can find more stolen honor then anywhere, but at least you can find some good groups that play the MilSim as a Sport and spent a good time reading field manuals before making something
ok, the movie tactical guys were really effective. Good comms, working as a unit, they used good bounding and had decent room clearing. Some things they could have done better, using actual doctrine but overall... not bad.
The DEA part was just hysterical.
There needs to be a season two of the tarkov geographic series
ok but those larpers at the end where def kind of cool.
6:15 Wearing the doorkicker and not kicking the door, what a shame
Today I will roleplay as Russian soldier- *oh yea suicide mechanic isn’t added yet*
Tap g to pull grenade.
lmao we actually had a factory soviet stocktroop roleplay 4 man squad with all PPSh41 drum loadout. Glad to see some people has the similar idea. I‘ll tell you have 4 dude who don't know anything russian but shouting Ura and suka all the time while just spray anything with that ppsh is a must have experience. Factory but Stalingrad 1943.
Waiting for the hardcore player! (Only mod guns found in raid from parts found in raid etc...)
