I think the making of the item is far more beautiful than any finished piece. Having the work bench in the window like that would be amazing, letting people know the time, effort and skill going into each item of jewelry. Too many people believe it's all made by machines.
Tis shows the confidence as a craftsmen/artist, who's willing to share their knowledge. I would order/purchase something for my mom & myself just because!
Wow!! That was a pleasure to watch especially for someone like me. I pride myself on the fact that i used to be a very good cabinet maker just before my spine decided to collapse. At forty years old i found myself unable to work but i am fortunate that the brilliant surgeon who operated on me four years later had skilful hands like yours and managed to get my legs working again in spite of the doom and gloom outlook from a local surgeon. The Robert Jones And Agnus Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital at Oswestry (Gobowen) in North Wales is responsible for my good fortune. Watching this video was a joy for me as i love messing around at fixing jewellery (i use "messing" literally) since my enforced retirement.I wish i had the kind of patience and skill shown in this video. Bravo to whoever it is that owns the hands in this video and thank you for a look into your world of skill and artistry as it made me very happy.
hello , i am manish from india , i am a jewellery 3d cad designer if u want make same new jewelery cad design , then u contact me on my whatsapp no. +918441019176 and +919079918890. thanks. for shyam sarkar cad cam creation & team
Finally... A video that shows the beauty and skill involved in making jewellery. Two thumbs up. You show the skill and techniques required to make great pieces. Thank you Utooth
I must say again thank you for this generosity, I will this over and over and I agree with all the positive inputs given to you. You created more than a piece of art work you shared and that speaks volumes of who you are. Thank you.
Finally a real jeweller who has the skills and knowledge of our trade. Nice job, from one jeweller to another. keep up the good work. Ross Bailey, New Zealand
Thank you so much for this video. I have been trying to transition from wire wrapping to making pieces of art like this. This video has taught me more than all of the other videos I have watched so far.
You can have more than one career in your lifetime. You can start by doing it as a hobby. I used to do design drafting as a career and am currently making crafty jewellery. I hope to continue learning to eventually be able to create fine jewellery. :)
I enjoyed watching this video because I never knew the time, craftsmanship and how accurate and precise you have to be to make a great piece of jewelry.Thank you
Hands down the best I have seen on benchwork on youtube. Beautiful work and excellent craftsmanship. I learned a great deal from this and would love for you folks to do another video. Again.. excellent!!!
Great video, thank god for CAD using matrix, cause time is money and nobody wants to pay for labour any more. Traditional ways are impressive & an eye opener for the novice. Well done.
I can't tell you how many times I've come back to watch this video. What wonderful craftsmanship! It's a pleasure to watch you work. Like all master artisans, the clock seems to stop while you do your magic. I think that's part of the reason you are an artist. Best Regards........Ski
Wow, just awesome!!!! I am just like rupee88, but for me it was in 2010 a introduction to metal jewelry class and I have been hooked every since. A beautiful piece!!!!
Wow, you are truly amazing. I am a beginning silversmith and came across this video and I am baffled. You used about 30 techniques I had never even heard of and the rest of the techniques I cant even do yet, well done.
Haven't quite got into jewelrysmithing yet (it's on the back-burner for a couple months while I finish up another project), but I've gotta say... you are quite talented. Watching everything fit perfectly into place is... something else. Pretty inspiring work, too. I wish I could just download your knowledge into my brain. Lol.
You are a true craftsman sir. I was watching with the sound off and I would've sworn that the stone you were using was a tourmaline, until I saw the drop down menu that revealed a blue Topaz.......Either way, masterful and sublime.
Wow...k trabajo tan espectacular...Y no precisamente por k se trata de joyas..sino por el esmero k pone en cada trabajo k hace ....sus manos son mágicas..Y el producto es todo lo bello k crea
This is Beautiful. I make jewelry as a hobby but my work is solely amateur. I would love the opportunity to apprentice with someone of your talent. Absolutely gorgeous, and i thought so long before you even had it finished. you had me at the first cut. lol
Beautuful!!! Basically I am goldsmith. But by viewing this fantastic video i can only visualize the fine work. In India may be now this techniques may be used. Oterwise the traditional way they make the pendants. They never take such precautions to measure the size of the pendant. Sometimes, the weight may increases, or size may changes. But I learn lot from this practical making of beautiful pendant. Thanks for sharing such a wornderful video.
i just realized I wanted to be a jewelry maker when I was fixing and making a new Loop for my tiger eye necklace so I went on UA-cam and found this video I think jewelry making is amazing I really want to get into it i want to work at a jewelry store and be the guy that fixes and makes jewelry this is something I want to do for the rest of my life I'm 20 years old I feel like I just found my purpose
Vaughan Stark - I'm in my early 40s and always wanted to be a jeweler or machinist since my teen years. In my early 20s I went to school to be in the medical field. I did that for 14 years before I became I'll and disabled. Was stuck in bed for 2 years then in and out of a wheelchair for sometime. Now I'm back on my feet though I'm not or will not ever be the same. Never will make the big money I once did doing it either. I can't go back into the field I was in with my condition. I've been dabbling with jewelery for a bit but just now getting serious. I wish I would of followed my original passion for it and I would of been able to still do it after being disabled instead of starting over. . I regret it! Though I helped many folks young and old get better I suffer from PTSD from the horrible injuries and illness I witnessed for so long. Topped with my own illness and sudden change in life. I wish instead I was making beautiful things with my hands that others could enjoy. I'm full of regret so take my advice and run with your passion and don't let anything stop you... Money, women , friends ... none of it! Do what it is you want to do and be happy in life!
Oh my, this has to be one if the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I've ever seen!!! I'd love to see more of your brilliant work :) how did you learn to do this?
sensacional....eu sou ourives e não me canso de assistir a esse vídeo....penso em seguir esses passos para fazer eu mesmo essa peça...obrigado por compartilhar sua experiência conosco !!!!!! João Carlos
This was an amazing video. The piece was stunning. I feel inspired to push the boundaries a little more. Of course I'd love to have your tool collection. I guess that will take a bit more time.
INCREDIBLE JEWELRY ART!! YOU ARE A MAESTRO OF FABRICATION!! I was not expecting the pearl embellishments, but that totally made a classic piece,,I did wonder though, why you did not maybe put more tiny posts in to hold the pearls [top drilled?] thinking maybe the epoxy might not last longer than the rest..,but since I am not the creator of such a magnificent piece as this,,it is really not mine to question..Stellar work and inspiring to an amateur/beginner like me! :)))
That's not easy!! I had a go at jewellery making and discovered just how much work and skill is involved even for a small piece. I gave up and took up painting instead! But whenever I purchase a piece of handcrafted jewellery, I so appreciate the art.
Thank you for sharing this. I am so very grateful to see craftsmanship surviving through the generations; not machine made, manufactured material things. Handmade art is truly a work of love and beauty to be appreciated and treasured.
what a great work ikeep watching it over and over. do any of you know some one like this man to teach?? i have been looking into it i am not not getting anywhere
Wow. This is so cool! It was kinda funny though for like 4 min I was like what is he doing and then I'm like oh when I saw it come together. It was awesome to see.
Phenomenal its technical expertise in performing with Exelencia every step in the perfect execution, without any error, this beautiful work of art, is a true jewel, a true artist in the jewelry store. PARABENS, BRAZIL.
This was very Interresting. Thank you for showing how this is done. VERY skilled person lovingly crafting jewelry that will be loved and admired long after all of us are gone.
MAN that was realy great. Like the first comment " this was therapeutic " I realy do not have words to expres my feelings. And in general I'm hard to be imprest . You deserve my SUBSCRIPTION with 100 points from 10. I'ts a shame that we look to buy this craft with small chains.
amazing pendant, brilliant concept. always delightful to see a piece going from start to finish especially if the video quality is as good as this one's
Could watch this for hours. One thing iv always wondered is, do jewelers try and collect the dust and other waste material and use it again? Even the tiny pieces must add up.
Great to see something created 100%! No molds! True craftsmanship and artisan!
Nice video. No crap music, just clear detailed info how to do it. Intelligently done and a great example. Thanks

Thank you for your comment
I do feel for you.Keep strong.Take care.
This comment is so uplifting. I wish you the absolute best.
Jeremy Markham I'm so glad that you are better now & still can enjoy what you are making. When one door is closed God opens another one. ☺
Sitting at the bench and marveling at a real craftsman. Unbelievable! Great work

Finally...
A video that shows the beauty and skill involved in making jewellery.
Two thumbs up.
You show the skill and techniques required to make great pieces.

I have not idea of the hard work and how much is involved in the making of such a beautiful piece. You are an Artist!
I must say again thank you for this generosity, I will this over and over and I agree with all the positive inputs given to you. You created more than a piece of art work you shared and that speaks volumes of who you are. Thank you.

thank you, I now run my own business Tiago jewellery , Sheffield UK
TheRangermannz Auckland doesn't have any jewelery courses 😢
Thank you so much for this video. I have been trying to transition from wire wrapping to making pieces of art like this. This video has taught me more than all of the other videos I have watched so far.
To think this man came up with that design in his head, it takes a man or women of skill to become a jeweller.
What a amazing job you have my friend
Unbelievably brilliant--both the jewels and the crafter!
You can have more than one career in your lifetime. You can start by doing it as a hobby.

You have the patience of a saint, the eye of an eagle, talented as the day is long......brava brava......I enjoyed ever moment..Thank you so much!
Such a beautiful pendant, love the light blue gem set against the pearls!
As a fellow jeweler I know how labor intensive this is, yet you make it look so easy! well done!
Your workmanship, oh my! It is great that you are sharing your practices. Thank you!
Absolutely wonderful. Something I could never do with the nerve damage in my hands and arms - like watching a beautiful poem come to life.
Great video, thank god for CAD using matrix, cause time is money and nobody wants to pay for labour any more. Traditional ways are impressive & an eye opener for the novice. Well done.

I am a silver and gold smith and have to say that is realy gorgeous work!
That ... was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen! The way you work is impeccable. I'm in love with the end result.
Wow! Can't say I like the design but I definitely appreciate the craftsmanship! Great piece of work!
Diamonds would probably be a better bezel, but can't really judge the design because the jeweler doesn't pick it.
Veronica Lopez that’s honest.. i do think same but claps for his work..
This was using customers own inherited stones. 😊
530...!!😳😳🤔🤒🤕..... master👏👏👏👏😎exelente...!!!
Man thats a lotta work! Each step is so envolved, all i can say is WOW!

That was tight. It looked like it was fit to last by the time you were done. That was a Princess piece right there.
