- In this video, I'm walking you through my current video setup.
I'm diving in headfirst with video and my setup is definitely a work-in-progress. I'm figuring out a lot of this as I go.
I'll probably do another video in the future to show how things have changed.

📝 A few notes:
Since filming this video, I found out that FlexClip's 3GB upload limit is temporary and will be lifted soon. That said, I'll probably still chop some videos down in Final Cut Pro for performance performances.
Eventually, I'm hoping to switch over to using Final Cut Pro as my main video editing software. But since I'm figuring some of this out on the fly, I'm sticking with FlexClip for the time being because it's easier to use.
Regarding my audio interface "downgrade" - there is a new version of the Shure SM7B that doesn't require so much gain. It's called the MV7+ and it's designed for podcasters and content creators. Great bit of kit it seems but it was cheaper to go for this Scarlett 2i2 interface instead.
The other reason for the switch is that my screen capture software doesn't behave well with Universal Audio's drivers and the devs haven't been able to isolate the issue yet.

Great vid! Give or take, how much did you spend for your setup?
Thanks! I’ve spent somewhere north of £2k in total but not all at once as I had some of the equipment already. Also, definitely some cheaper options for some of the equipment like microphones, etc.
