especially if you consider that they arent just FAST FDDTs but they also have 1000x normal FDDTs health. so ur getting a blimp thats 33 times faster than a red bloon with 1000x the health of an FDDT.

This ^ it triggers me seeing suboptimal placement. This here is done extremely well, using insane knowledge of the game and well as it being so coordinated and planned. The research that goes into this cannot be understated.
No matter how much time will pass, in my eyes, this video will stand proudly as the one and only single greatest display of skill, strategy and dedication that has ever graced the btd community. This is insane how much work has been put into this challenge.

Like this is actually ridiculously impressive- you spent, in one run, almost as many hours as i have in the entire game. Thats some serious dedication. All of your videos are fascinating and please keep going, i cant wait for more. P.s I know there's little point in me saying this, but if somehow you havent thought about it, please keep the save. In the future, maybe when Ninjakiwi does a huge optimization update or something, you could continue the run. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? I hope not.
I don't think it's worth it as the map is needed for other records (unless if I'm out of the loop and you can have multiple saves now), and also by that point we'd probably have every paragon or something so it's worth retrying
Imagine if after a certain round a cutscene came up showing all the bloons in a pile of deflated rubber and words saying "congratulations, you have beaten the game"

I am currently in a late game run on round 392 and that felt like forever. I can’t imagine the amount of dedication to push to round 600+. Amazing stuff!
Promise us that you will retry this when all 23 parogons are released and computers have improved so the game may be playable. Also at a certain point you could try selling some of the more laggy towers to try to squeeze out a few more rounds.
better pc will do nothing. Every game has a limit of performance based on its engine and programming. Btd6's limit is pretty low, that's why it lags so much even on very good pcs. Better pc could make some diffrence, but very slight and unnoticable.
PC will help, the game itself has a cap of how much it can Calculate (assets cause almost nothing) but increasing computer power could allow bloons to use more RAM and memory, so more calculations. Also the game NEEDS to be optimized more.
No problem! It actually takes quite a long time to do it properly so i don't do it for every video, but whenever i make a mega-project like this one i will always take the time to do that! :)

for those wondering, the paragon limit is 76 (without multiplayer or jeraldo (how do u spell that)) but the apex plasma master (dart monkey paragon) can go to 79 IF you have the 'master double cross' monkey knowledge point, allowing you to get an extra crossbow master for a higher paragon level, hope this helps
It took me until now, that I understand how hard that was and how impressiv it is. Because I tried to get to round 400 hundred and it takes hours and it is way harder than it looks. At first I thought it couldn't be so so hard but all the Things you did in the Video are important to get a round that high live you did. Big RESPECT for you, MackanRules❤
I just finished a r400 run and id say it’s mainly a patience game. It took me like 5-6 hours and that was with a very anti-lag set up (mainly just the paragons and a VTSG). I had to spam some dark champions for the last 15ish rounds just to get me all the way there and those final rounds took well over an hour
I seem to remember a player by the exact same name that was a high rounding god in their own right on COD’s Zombies mode, Mackan. Glad to see that intellect for optimization didn’t just apply there. Great video mate, really showcases what is possible for high rounding in this Bloons game. My personal best is somewhere in the 300s if I recall.

Absolutely mind destroying how impressive that is- when the game reaches its limit before you can is incredible. The soundtrack in this video is such 🔥too Id really love to see how far you could get on what i think is the hardest map for lategame; Midnight Mansion- due to its very tight spacing causing no VTSG, Goliath Doomship or Navarch alongside no proper farming (i think snipers being the best) it would be really interesting. my best round is 262 but i reckon 300 would be possible!

@@Starrdoom. a spec pop i think you can fit on that map, and it is GREAT for farming when optimised making as much money as a r40-60 in boss runs ( 200k for me) . It would require some moab shove micro though

Bloons should add a secret setting that you unlock after beating round 200 which allows you to disable all attack animations to allow for a smoother game. If you didn’t have so many projectiles and animations happening you could’ve went much further
Not certain that would help tbh, rendering sprites and effects isn’t causing much lag I dont think. It should mostly be the calculations of damage and trajectory which need to happen regardless of graphics that are actually intensive and causing crashes/lag
@@sarugakuza5108 loading graphics is just as stressful if not more once you’re that high up. Calculations constantly use more normally, but during high rounds the game has to render so many attack animations that the game breaks down
Next update new paragon, likely the round limit will be higher than. Sad that all these lategame attempts will all be redundant a couple updates later due to paragons being released so slowly. Still this achievement is amazing and I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for the great content.
while yes, theoretically with more paragons being added the highest round would be higher again, but honestly, i dont think round 600 will be beaten any time soon. at least not one as well documented as this.

The lag isn’t caused by the projectiles themselves but actually the damage calculations because of the hundreds of projectiles so « turning off » projectiles visuals doesn’t reduce the lag, just makes it more pleasant to look at.
I just wanna give insanely massive props to you for not only sticking through this run, but not even being done and going on to CHIMPs and no powers as well. That's nuts. The editing was also absolutely phenomenal, the ending was perfection at its finest. Im excited to see what's to come!

I'm glad you mentioned the old infinite boat paragon glitch; I was confused by the question, because I was under the impression that you could go for thousands and thousands of rounds with the boats.
@@augusto4585 basically you could have as many boat paragons as you had boats on the map, and boat paragon being able to instakill anything makes it possible to go to like round 1500 i guess, it's super overpowered

tip to decrease lag: in the pause menu there is a setting where you can shrink the size of projectiles, you can make it to the point where they dont exist edit: not a edit for likes, but pls shut up

People, the fx slider didn't exist when mackan made the video. And it doesn't reduce lag for computers that don't have a graphics card built into the cpu, sit reduces it for phones. Neither did the sub, wizard or tack shooter paragon. There are so many comments about this. Just Look at the other comments before committing Edit: typos

And the best part is, with the most recent update you can turn off the projectiles so reaching this game's limit has never been more reachable. A strategy you could use if you eventually decide to try this again, if you play on different devices the game will offer you options between which save file you would like to use. After every 20 rounds (or whatever seems best) you can open BTD6 on the other device and load the save file and then close it again. It creates a nice backup for just in case the game crashes or if you are trying a freeplay CHIMPS run and one random DDT makes it through

I started an attempt yesterday with geraldo and reached round 353 with level 100 ace ninja boat and bomerang and vtsg but I reched my limit. its interesting to see how different your strat is and how much effort you put in your attempt. and sorry for my bad englisch im german xD
There’s an exciting new accessibility mode that you can toggle in the settings that allows you to remove all projectiles from being rendered, so that could possibly fix some of the crashing the game encounters on those later rounds…

I think that you should try this run again especially since a few major updates that impact late game a lot have been released e.g. new paragon rework and the release of the sub paragon. Anyway, congrats for making it this far and the dedication required must be immense!!!!! GG

I think Ninja Kiwi was getting so concerned of the nearly infinite Bloon population dropping quickly due to bonkers freeplay strategies in the earliest versions of the game, they bumped up tthe difficulty increase a lot to protect some of the best, and now endangered bloons from harm. Edit: Also, after watching this video all the way through, I think we can conclude that there is, indeed, a killscreen in BTD6.
This video, is so much more than i thought it would be, its more in-depth than i expected and MONTHS into this is absolutely crazy, also kinda got triggered that you didnt turn down vfx but regardless, you are the bloons GOAT.

Well done, extremely impressive and informative. While I don't think the Beast Handler would've made sense for a build like this considering how space hungry they are, I do wonder what applications (if any) they could have for super late game runs like this.
let me tell you, cuz I did a run with all 3 of them. they are absolutely and a 100% a total waste of space. top path deals practically no damage, bottom path his less than useless and middle path actually deals some decent damage if it wouldnt take up so much space.
@@Lt_Koro I was thinking the only reason is because of the max beast power megladon ability where it instakills a bad, in which with ramping that would be really useful even though it doesn’t do that much damage.

that was some dedication right there, right now i am on round 500, and even then, it's only because i use the total transformation bug + VTSG, and the lag are agonizing, that i just play other game while i let it run, i can't imagine the amount of agony you have gone through to make this possible.

Unfortunately, Ninja Kiwi confirmed that bloons are infinite in number. Maybe winning is "lasting long enough", but there will always be more bloons.

The older games used to have final rounds like this but they realised its actually more fun to be uncapped

They actually recently added (as in the most recent update) the option to lower the size of projectiles, or disable them entirely
Not certain that would help tbh, rendering sprites and effects isn’t causing much lag I dont think. It should mostly be the calculations of damage and trajectory which need to happen regardless of graphics that are actually intensive and causing crashes/lag
It's a numbers thing not a graphics thing
@@sarugakuza5108 loading graphics is just as stressful if not more once you’re that high up. Calculations constantly use more normally, but during high rounds the game has to render so many attack animations that the game breaks down

Next update new paragon, likely the round limit will be higher than. Sad that all these lategame attempts will all be redundant a couple updates later due to paragons being released so slowly. Still this achievement is amazing and I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for the great content.

while yes, theoretically with more paragons being added the highest round would be higher again, but honestly, i dont think round 600 will be beaten any time soon. at least not one as well documented as this.

This feels so accurate. I tried seeing how high I could get as a kid in BTD4, and every attempt just ended with my flash player crashing.
This is amazing! the amount of work that was put into this project is insane, and the editing is so amazing it ties everything together.

The lag isn’t caused by the projectiles themselves but actually the damage calculations because of the hundreds of projectiles so « turning off » projectiles visuals doesn’t reduce the lag, just makes it more pleasant to look at.
I just wanna give insanely massive props to you for not only sticking through this run, but not even being done and going on to CHIMPs and no powers as well. That's nuts.
The editing was also absolutely phenomenal, the ending was perfection at its finest.

I'm glad you mentioned the old infinite boat paragon glitch; I was confused by the question, because I was under the impression that you could go for thousands and thousands of rounds with the boats.

@@augusto4585 basically you could have as many boat paragons as you had boats on the map, and boat paragon being able to instakill anything makes it possible to go to like round 1500 i guess, it's super overpowered
@@augusto4585you could place multiple of the same paragon at some point, so you could just place 100 boats to infinitely hook in BADs well into round 1000

Extremely well done, well informed video that covers all the bases. From monkey powers to manually buying and using all the monkey powers. Such a shame it ended due to technical limitations. The dedication and patience is amazing
Gonna be crazy to see how this holds up with later updates. To think this was right before the Ascended Shadow buff which gave it permanent grand sabo which removes the need for an extra ninja (oh and magus perfectus i guess lmao)
tip to decrease lag: in the pause menu there is a setting where you can shrink the size of projectiles, you can make it to the point where they dont exist

Guys lag isn't about the projectiles, its the game trying to do all the math on how much damage the balloons take
Nope, it's the graphics part. Computers can do math insanely quickly, that's not the problem

People, the fx slider didn't exist when mackan made the video. And it doesn't reduce lag for computers that don't have a graphics card built into the cpu, sit reduces it for phones.
Neither did the sub, wizard or tack shooter paragon.

When the lag is harder than the rounds
A strategy you could use if you eventually decide to try this again, if you play on different devices the game will offer you options between which save file you would like to use. After every 20 rounds (or whatever seems best) you can open BTD6 on the other device and load the save file and then close it again. It creates a nice backup for just in case the game crashes or if you are trying a freeplay CHIMPS run and one random DDT makes it through

I started an attempt yesterday with geraldo and reached round 353 with level 100 ace ninja boat and bomerang and vtsg but I reched my limit. its interesting to see how different your strat is and how much effort you put in your attempt.

There’s an exciting new accessibility mode that you can toggle in the settings that allows you to remove all projectiles from being rendered, so that could possibly fix some of the crashing the game encounters on those later rounds…

I think Ninja Kiwi was getting so concerned of the nearly infinite Bloon population dropping quickly due to bonkers freeplay strategies in the earliest versions of the game, they bumped up tthe difficulty increase a lot to protect some of the best, and now endangered bloons from harm.
Edit: Also, after watching this video all the way through, I think we can conclude that there is, indeed, a killscreen in BTD6.

This video, is so much more than i thought it would be, its more in-depth than i expected and MONTHS into this is absolutely crazy, also kinda got triggered that you didnt turn down vfx but regardless, you are the bloons GOAT.

Well done, extremely impressive and informative. While I don't think the Beast Handler would've made sense for a build like this considering how space hungry they are, I do wonder what applications (if any) they could have for super late game runs like this.
let me tell you, cuz I did a run with all 3 of them. they are absolutely and a 100% a total waste of space. top path deals practically no damage, bottom path his less than useless and middle path actually deals some decent damage if it wouldnt take up so much space.
@@Lt_Koro I was thinking the only reason is because of the max beast power megladon ability where it instakills a bad, in which with ramping that would be really useful even though it doesn’t do that much damage.

that was some dedication right there, right now i am on round 500, and even then, it's only because i use the total transformation bug + VTSG, and the lag are agonizing, that i just play other game while i let it run, i can't imagine the amount of agony you have gone through to make this possible.
