- I had been playing Tetris for months before finally achieving this feat on March 7, 2006. Supposedly, it's the first time anyone in the world has done it.

What’s scary is that the Game Boy version of Tetris was almost as old as this video is now.
I used to play this game for hours every day when I was a kid and thought I was pretty good ... but only ever managed just over 300 lines and half this many points. Watching this is amazing ... truly amazing.

UA-cam had a Director Status to allow uploading of videos longer than 10 minutes.
I kept track of the first 383 falling pieces on this video. The block shape was the most frequent with 67, next the backwards L with 60, the ugly red piece 59, the long piece 53, the ugly blue piece 52, the symmetrical blue piece 50, the L 42.

I had not touched a Game Boy for 20 years, but I just got one from ebay and in the last few days I played Tetris three times. Today I got to level 12, damn, that was so fast already! I don't even think I got to level 12 when I played Tetris when I was a little girl. But YOU are brilliant! How could you not get a heart attack? My heart was racing even just while watching!

This is one of the most impressive things I've seen on UA-cam! I really am fascinated by the techniques you used to stack the blocks certain ways, moving blocks to the sides, knowing what blocks were coming up next so that you could place the current block more effectively, etc. Really amazing stuff here!

GG! I was expecting no blocks remaining at 29:38, it could have been beautiful after achieving a middle-screen tetris and a middle-scrren 3 lignes in level 20. 641 lines are a great score, thank you for this video!

Me thinking about old technologies, I thought it would overflow and start pulling out sprites other than the number characters, much like pokemon and the MissingNo glitch, in where it causes the item in the 5th slot to overflow to 256. Thus, pulling out sprites other than the number chars because, the items were only meant to go up to x99.
Pokèmon Gen 1 was ridiculously broken. It's like, it's impossible to beat the game non-TAS without something unintended happening, the primary example being a "100%" accuracy move missing with a 0.4% chance.

You miss the whole point of Tetris.
I watch this video for how perfect and satisfying pilling blocks is. There's really something soothing and compelling about these blocks falling that brings to one's heart a deep feeling of inner peace. Like it's your destiny to pile blocks. As if doing so was the answer to all.
Of course you could just come here to see a screen displaying a perfect score, but it's only a complement to the whole process of stacking tetrominoes on each other. It's not something you can put into words, it just feels like it's the right thing to do, like you were meant to stack these blocks, and that was the key to true happiness, to finally be an accomplished human being.
The perfect score is the climactic moment of that very experience, but you can't have it unless you've been through the whole thing.

Dude, I've logged in my youtube account just for say that what you've done it's just inhuman. Last week i was playing at my Game Boy Color and i thought if it could be possible arrive to the maximum score (999.999). Then, the answer to this question that i gave to myself, was that it only could be done with some kind of gameshark, but see that, was very close to kill me of a hearth attack. Congratulations.
