I totally agree with you. It's the first tune I co wrote for a band (I didn't write the lyrics, nor the melody - just came up with the style, the chord sequence and the violin lines - then we jammed it in the studio and the TUT song was born!)

MicroKORGI I'm pretty sure the bitcrushing is just a result of the software used to make this, not a conscious decision by the artist. A lot of chiptune songs were made in trackers for older machines, like the ZX Spectrum, or the Amiga, or more often the NES or Genesis.
