You would think Elizabeth would’ve fired Julia years before. An alcoholic is not the best candidate for helping your family refine their coping mechanisms.
And I really do appreciate that when a British can do an American accent and via versus is beautiful 😊😊 and for a moment I was like, "wait.. she is American and then *reads up on said actress* no wait never mind," 😂
Helena has always been an attractive woman but to be frank her in that specific hair style/color made her playboy worthy attractive....at least to me 🥰
As someone who ran home from school to watch the original Dark Shadows, I hated what Tim Burton did with it--with the exception of casting Helena Bonham Carter. I love her version of Dr. Hoffman that only she could pull off. She's the only reason why I watch this version of Dark Shadows, but only her scenes.
when the originak barnabas collins was released in 67, he fed off of animals to avoid attracting too much attention. but damn, trying to feed a vampire that hasnt had a drop of blood in over 170 years is impossible to do without attracting attention
In the original series, elizabeth and julia was brunette, i can see now why this movie is down, the choice some changes are not good, and i think this movie should stand alone, and ofcurse nothing compares to the original dark shadows
I love Helena but Tim literally ruined my fave character in Dark Shadows from Original, Dr. Julia Hoffman supposed to be badass, skeptical, and genius doctor not stylish or rather cold, if you watch the original you know what i mean
I LOVE the original Dark Shadows and I think the Revival was also quite good. You had Dan Curtis and his vision. I know I am going to get a lot of people angry, but this movie makes a complete joke out of Dark Shadows. Even though some of the original cast members (like Jonathan Frid) make a cameo appearance, Tim Burton's vision is a disaster and Johnny Depp as Barnabas, worst casting ever. Being a person that grew up with Dark Shadows, this movie is an insult.
Many people's voices sound different with different accents, but Helena's voice is still recognizable!
Her American accent is remarkable.
Great actress
It really is, I love her so much
I'm getting whiffs of Meryl Streep from her voice in this scene . Actually, her character in general is a Meryl kinda role.
The greatest actress. Though I am a russian, I could not fail to notice she immitated american english perfectly!👍
She has played American before. Like in Fight Club.
I watched dark shadows but only with Dr Hoffman's scenes.
Same here haha
omfg same
Same
Samep shes so seks see
I have some of her lines memorized
HBC s accent... OMG the best thing in this world, especially A vampire?! scene :D
I love Helena Bonham Carter so much
"then be fascinated..."
No need to tell me twice here, darling
Me too
The way Michelle says it makes me think they've....
There something about her voice when she says a vampire 0:00 that make me want to listen to her say it over and over

Julia and make sure most amazing maze 🚨 I'm waiting on UA-cam videos https Android accounts from hollywood movies show TV and playing with new ones
She kinda became a freeloader who refused to leave.
Love Michelle Pfeiffer scenes in this movie
Elizabeth never knew Barnabas was a vampire in the original series...big mistake to change it in the movie...
This movie was a big disappointment.
@@rockyracoon3233 I think it was amazing!
@@heidicarter1481 me too, it's even my favorite movie ^^
@@rockyracoon3233 Turning it into a comedy was a mistake but Depp was ok as Barnabas. Definitely prefer the original though.
damn. HBC's American accent XD

I don't know English language, but I very love Helena's accent❤️
(I very bad know English language....)
Her voice sounds different from when she was in Charlie and the chocolate factory also another Tim burton film.
It's her accent, she is using an american accent here instead of her normal British accent t
How the hell is her American so good?
She's a damn good actress that's why.

Aghhh i just love them so much!
Every Psychology class I feel like her AHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

was Helena pregnant during Dark Shadows? If you're asking where I got that from I've heard rumors
Nah that was in sweeny todd
can tell if you think its good or bad
Is the ginger one Helena boner carter?!?
xx.fern williams.xx is "boner" deliberate? 😉
It's totally Helena BONER Carter
In the original series, elizabeth and julia was brunette, i can see now why this movie is down, the choice some changes are not good, and i think this movie should stand alone, and ofcurse nothing compares to the original dark shadows
what was awkward about it
wwwooowww
Can she be my mom

True i agree, they also ruined the characters that i love like elizabeth and julia
Another very good scene. The comedy was overdone and really brought down this movie.
i liked the movie until i watched the show
