There’s quite the emotional/odd nostalgic value in a lot of these for me. Like you can barely remember these places in your mind but want to go back it’s weird
Thats like some sort of phobia I think. I heard about it in another video, but its just about the strange feeling about being somewhere that should be full, but is not.
just that guy [classic guy] Something like that... I don’t like it when there’s way too much space, like the sea or outer space. Because it feel like your too open to everything and anything that’s dangerous can get you easily..
Jokes aside, I don’t really get why people are uncomfortable when they see these types of pictures. I noticed that the pictures are in a Western countries like America or Canada (probably). Maybe because I never had a childhood life like this. While I watch these kinds of videos, I do feel nostalgic but I actually felt nothing. Reading the comments and replaying this video over & over is like I am trying to replace a fake emotion just to feel like I am in a right track or something like that. Regardless, these kinds of videos are quite addictive. It’s like viewing the world in a different perspective.
it's kind of weird but these images kind of make me happy that i'll probably be alone for the rest of my life. i don't care for romance because i enjoy simple friendship more, but something about these images just give me faint memories of being with my favorite people, and that i'll be able to make more with them in the future
0:41 feels familiar because it's what I imagined high school would look like when I was like 5th grade. But in Middle School we didn't have lockers, there were some at the junior high building but they were never used. It feels like mine looked worse because of the lack of lockers
the strange reason is that we saw similar places or those places in reality or our imaginations and we forgot one or more those also gives vibes of these kind of places we saw our memory also makes not familiar to these places look familiar by you might have seen this getting a sense?say yes that's how it works
The weird thing is, these images are actually real, they could be on any landmark and there are no signs of a human being in these images and some of these images could be A. I. generated
Wait! I think I got it! The reason why they feel so nostalgic is because they are empty! Empty places usually mean that something is over for example if you are in a hotel and pack your things but look a last time through the door before you leave everything is empty too. Just as it is when you are leaving a store late. That's probably why we think it's nostalgic. Because it tricks our mind into believing that it is something that is over now and we will never be able to experience again. Because we don't remember it we think it's nostalgic cause we sort of miss it but at the same time know that we can't ever experience it again (or for the first time in this case)
Should i make a part 2 of it?
edit: part 2 is out!

It’s like we’ve all been in these places in our dreams..
I think it’s the music that’s the deciding factor on whether or not this is scary
The mall pictures all resemble Starcourt Mall from Stranger Things.
Why do you all think every mall with even slightly dated decor is Starcourt?
It reminded me so much of Starcourt Mall ngl
Holy shit, its almost like, Starcourt is a mall from the 80s!!!
that’s because starcourt mall was decorated just like all the 80s malls

Their just pictures we aren't used to seeing empty, their places where we've been alone. And it's partially because of the quality of the pictures...
Impossible to feel strangely familiar feelings if you remember
