1. Update Graphics Card Driver
2. Update Audio Driver
3. Verify Game Files
4. Run compatibility mode
5. Disable Fullscreen optimizations
6. Run this program as an administrator
7. Update Windows
8. Install DirectX
9. Install Visual C++ Apps
10. Disable Not Used Applications
11. Run sfc /scannow
12. Disable Antivirus
13. Reinstall Game
14. Reinstall Windows

What do the direct x and visual c++ do?

direct x is basically the backbone if running games on windows and visual c++ if im not mistaken is related to connecting windows systems with ur gpu

I was having crashing to the desktop without warning issues with God of War, The Last of Us, Spider-Man Miles Morales and Days Gone. Most recently Days Gone. Turns out, changing the game's display from Fullscreen to Windowed Borderless solved my crashing issues. ✌😉👍
