Hiya Nick, I enjoyed your vlog, around the new Everton stadium, get the programme from the last game at Goodison and the programme for the fist game at Bramley Moore, I hope its Newcastle for the first game, this is Choppy
The stadium looks complete. The next step is a few Everton Academy games in front of a limited of fans to be granted the necessary safety certificate for a full capacity crowd.
I popped over Sunday morning and the top gate was open for visitors so I was able to take some pictures from the north east gate. The stadium is magnificent, but seeing it in the flesh (before I drove up to Goodison) there are two really striking things you dont really get from videos, as superb as they are. The first is the sheer scale and size of the stadium itself, even from the gate it looks HUGE in the flesh. The other observation is the absolutely massive opportunity for the property owners there to turn that land and have it redeveloped. Apart from the old tobacco building, the area could be razed in parts and a massive retail area, hotels and leisure could revitalise it totally. It's a blank canvass fella and as you know it runs all the way back to the City. A lot of money to be made in the next 10-15 years im thinking
At the beginning of the build there was a lot of talk of the smell from next door. I’ve been there a few times and haven’t noticed it but as you’ve been there 2/3 times a week over the last few years my question is; “is this an issue?”
I think the compound in the NW corner and the gates in the fence will be a permanent feature. Not part of the UU site. They'll need somewhere to store mowers and the like.
Joe: incorrect. The fence is the perimeter. All the ground maintenance machinery will be stored on site. The light arrays will be stowed on the West Quay against the north wall of the DNOC. The tractors, mowers etc will all be stowed in the huge 'Front of House' garage that lies at the west end of the North Stand Overhang, next to the Pitch Tunnel. Look closely on this video at 5:53 mins, you can see the black concertina'd doors between the two Blue Signs on the brick facade.
I'm very surprised there is no 'EVERTON' white seats. Seems strange if they're planning to add that in later. Could it be that they're waiting on potential naming rights and then working around that?
@@eddie_1878 There won’t be Everton, EFC or 1878 in white seats. All seats will be blue, unless a sponsor wants to pay the club a fortune for their name or logo in white seats.

@muckers24 20 minutes ago Hi mate, I’ve been watching all the way through but this is my first question! Also, any idea if the super riser in the South Stand is being painted blue to help it blend in and make it look more like one continuous tier? Cheers mate!
