Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.
In this video I am Making a Dragon eye with a very common mould. It has been on the market for quite sometime and I decided that now was the time . As I love Dragons I could not resist any more.
This mould was purchased from Ali Express but as it was not great quality, I have linked the same mould in my Amazon shop.
I use Let'sResin intense chameleon powder which is high pigmented and very bright and Let'sResin Resin with Vista Black pigment.

@@Toonpish SWEEEEEEEEET!!!! wish I had known that before ordering 4 gallons of Resin!!!! Their 2 Gallon kits were down to $128 … their one gallon kits were $85… so, I bought 2 of the 2 gallon kits for $256 right after Christmas… an extra 10% off of that would have been nice… it basically would have covered the sales tax!!!!

Hi I found 2 smaller molds on Aliexpress one is all gray in the picture and the other is a small planter dragon mold it took me about 3 hours to find them I was going to send pictures but couldn't figure out how to do it

A quick light fine spray of isopropanol will stop Amy bubbles forming and holding and won't affect mica powder. Trust me it works a treat esp on fine details and 90 degree silicone mold parts 🫶👌❤️ thank me later 👍👊💪

I love my deburring tool! Best investment I've made with beginning my resin art. Accckkk...to the dragon mold, I just talked myself out of getting it! I have made a regular notebook cover with mica powder and crystals. Love that Ghost red! I think I'm going to have to breakdown and get it!

It all takes time 😀😀❤️
I have this mold. I brush on chameleon powder, including the whole eye, then fill with black. Next I use acrylic pens/markers and paint the eye, then seal in UV resin. I like J. Diction uv resin better. You can use fingernail polis/varnish to paint the eye then seal it. There is a specific style I see on other UA-cam artists dragon eye channels. Mine turned into a 2023 planner. I like the 3 ring sets rather than separate rings.

Hi I was looking at your dragon cover oh my God it's absolutely gorgeous I am trying to do a dragon clock and I don't know if I take paint markers and paint the letters I mean the numbers and the I and the other things on it and then do the epoxy will the paint come off with the epoxy and show up could you help please

Epoxy resin will pick up paint for sure.
However the quality is a little hit and miss to be honest.
It does depend on the quality of the paint and the resin.

I have a huge collection of molds, mainly because of Aliexpress. Now, while you don't always get the best quality of molds, they're certainly much less expensive than at Amazon or anywhere else. I adore dragons, too. I don't have this particular mold, though I have a dragon eye, just not for a book. Going to have to try this. Thank you for the inspiration, and the instruction. You are such a joy to watch!

I have this mold from Amazon. I found I had to trim the paper ... It was slightly too wide and a tad too tall. Did you have to do that?
