To be honest, I really like the way. The third one came out in spite of the fact that you were saying that it a problem. The petals were looked like they were segueing into the outer colors.

Wendy, you did a great job, especially doing her technique for the 1st time. I'm sure you'll be a pro in no time 😉 my favorite is the one with the sheets of dichroic film, but I also like the one with the inks very much 😊 for the bluish purple one you decided to leave as is, I would have added a shimmering metallic silver for a contrast. All 3 coasters are beautiful. But my favorite one is the one that you colored with the alcohol ink. I made a free form tray using the window film that has the lotus flower on it. After the tray cured I painted the flowers and stems with paint pens. I did get paint everywhere.
Absolutely beautiful….no one is perfect and you did a fantastic job….you keep raising the bar and I’m stuck in reverse….practice makes perfect….. I love watching your videos and the new things you have done….happy crafting and pouring

The Dichroic one looks like a Stained Glass Window. The alcohol inks looked really challenging! Had I tried that.. it would’ve resembled a tied dyed t-shirt..😂 You did great!
That’s what I thought too! It looks a lot like a stained glass window…mit kinda reminds me of the circled windows of the Abbeys there in the UK… West Minister Abbey comes to mind…. I know it’s not exactly like it but that is what it reminded me of!

@@Toonpish well crap. On that note, with regards to the ink dropping technique. They do make alcohol ink based markers. Maybe give that a go. Might give you more control than using the dropper bottles. I use them myself to give extra washes of color, but I don't see why you couldn't do this with them.

Yes that’s right but as I understand it now you need such a small amount. And let it dry completely. I was told they don’t come off. And have seen others use alcohol ink in the same way. So as far as I’m aware they stay

I think I would use a very fine paint brush for the alcohol inks… that coaster was gorgeous!!!! I found some eyeliner brushes on Amazon that would be PERFECT for that!
@@Toonpish you and me both…l I will send you a link to the brushes I’m talking about that I bought,,,, I also do painting on canvases and have a lot of different brushes… ruined many of them with my uv resin though…but thankfully they were not expensive lol…I’m not that daft
These turned out so pretty. I was going to recommend a needle-tip bottle too. So for that one, did you just make a coaster out of clear resin, let it cure, add the inks, let them dry, then top coat it? It seems like the inks would sllrun but it didn't look like they did on yours. I'll have to check out jades channel too.
If the ink is thin enough it will just stay there apparently. I’ve not done any testing on it to find out. I hope you like what Jade makes because they are stunning 😀😀💜👍

Well apparently when the ink dries it stays, but I put far too much ink on and therefore it wasn’t stable. I will try it again at some point 😀😀😀 thanks for your question 😀😀💜
Hi, love your work always an inspiration, just to let you know the paint(not really a paint at all), is Cerne relief it is a barrier against bleeding colours of pebeo vitrail and fantasy paints, when painting , but like you I use it for resin and lots of other mixed media projects. I would not normally correct, but I am sure many are inspired as as I am to try your suggestions, If they tried using virail in this way would be a mess, sorry again for being picky and thankyou again for hours of enjoyment while I have been off work unwell. Well when the ink is dry it doesn’t come off apparently. But as I haven’t put that to the test I can’t guarantee it. So short answer is i can’t say either way 🤷♀️😳😂😂 Thanks for your question Patricia 😀😀👍💜

I was wondering because you do such wonderful beautiful work. I know that all comes with experience. I am just trying to figure out where I am going wrong? I really enjoyed you taking time out to show all how to make molds with your stamps. Again beautiful wonderful work. You explain so very well I grateful to you for doing so. For me, I find painting with the alcohol inks very easy, by putting it into a tiny cup with some isopropyl, and using an itty bitty paint brush.

You can clean uv resin off brushes with isopropyl alcohol as long as it’s not cured 😀😀😀

It seems like the inks would sllrun but it didn't look like they did on yours. I'll have to check out jades channel too.
If the ink is thin enough it will just stay there apparently. I’ve not done any testing on it to find out.

I think they all look beautiful! I love that you tried something different on each one. I'm sure this is a stupid question. But, if you top coat the ink one, will the colors all run? Or, will they stay once they've dried? 😊
Well apparently when the ink dries it stays, but I put far too much ink on and therefore it wasn’t stable.

Hi, love your work always an inspiration, just to let you know the paint(not really a paint at all), is Cerne relief it is a barrier against bleeding colours of pebeo vitrail and fantasy paints, when painting , but like you I use it for resin and lots of other mixed media projects. I would not normally correct, but I am sure many are inspired as as I am to try your suggestions, If they tried using virail in this way would be a mess, sorry again for being picky and thankyou again for hours of enjoyment while I have been off work unwell. Well when the ink is dry it doesn’t come off apparently. But as I haven’t put that to the test I can’t guarantee it.
So short answer is i can’t say either way 🤷♀️😳😂😂

@@Toonpish if you don't mind me asking how long have you been working with a epoxy resin ? Did you have experience then other fields of crafting prior to working with epoxy resin? I was wondering because you do such wonderful beautiful work. I know that all comes with experience. I am just trying to figure out where I am going wrong? You seen the type that would be more than happy to help and assist others. I greatly appreciate you sharing all your beautiful hard work with all. I have learned a lot from you and Claire. 3 years or so ago when I started dibbling and dabbling there wasn't many working with epoxy resin then as there is now. I find a lot of them are not even worth me watching for all they do is aggravate me talk too much repeating themselves over and over not telling anything such as what kind of products are using. How long they're letting whatever epoxy is in there working with? Nor they sharing what kind they're using. Which means a lot. I really enjoyed you taking time out to show all how to make molds with your stamps. Again beautiful wonderful work. You explain so very well I grateful to you for doing so. Your videos with your backgrounds like you're walking skeletons and stuff are awesome and make watching your videos so much more fun and I learn more from you and Claire than any others. I thank you both so much for sharing your knowledge and taking the time out of your busy schedule to include everyone and all and everything including discounts and all that. When I first started the only uk UA-cam resin user I could find was Nick Zammeti 🤷♀️ and practically every item I wanted to purchase came from the USA.
At least now we can get hold of materials easier.

They are called needle point bottles and are sold in many places.
They can be cleaned with 99% alcohol too, so you can use them over and over 😀😀💜👍
use a paintbrush to spread the ink next time :)
