There's so much going on in this soundtrack, it's all really wonderful & transports you to a place that feels unbelievably hostile yet serene at the same time. Brilliant work.
This is a great soundtrack to put on as you are laying down…. Until Golgotha. Every time I put it on, I cross my fingers that I am asleep before that track comes on.
I cannot think of a more perfect song. It's played like a sinister pipe organ, making you feel like you're going somewhere ominous and unholy. But it's played on a synthesizer... which simply adds to the pure weird science this game is known for.
It seems every time someone makes a new video with music from CoQ that there are tracks left out. Granted, in this one there's a TON of tracks that I've never heard before, mostly the medleys and remixes that I assume were early versions of tracks currently in the game that just haven't been removed. Hopefully once the game is finished and the official OST released we'll have every single track all in one place.
I feel like these are versions of the tracks which aren't even the ones used in the game. They all seem to have much more detail. Maybe the ones in the game have been compressed a lot?
Yeaah cryotravellers dark ambient in it's glory. Eons of evolution. That must be a feeling, when you nosebleed while being mind-harrased by psychic monk.
i really need help with a doubt but i coudnt finde any discord server or community to ask. Do i lost my items if i left them in the village's ground or chests??
When I first listened to this OST, it was separate from the game because my. Imputed didn’t have speakers or headphones. I did not like the soundtrack. Felt too strange, too ambient for me to enjoy. I recently decided to play the game again and now I have such things as headphones and speakers and have been listening to the soundtrack as I play and it’s amazing! The ambience fits the game perfectly. I’m still ass at the game though. Just recently survived to level 5 by mostly beguiling or intimidating any enemies I face. I love this game.
@@ysno6767 No doubt! I wasn’t able to see that previously but now it all makes sense, having played and listened. Meticulously crafted for the world it echoes.
Your thirst is mine, my water is yours.
Live and drink, traveller.
Live and drink, friend.
What an unutterably incredible game
It’s basically post modern d&d
wading through brackish blood
goglotha perfectly captures the feeling of being flushed down a toilet
I can't believe how perfect the music is for caves of qud. Absolutely nailed it.
This soundtrack is utterly unreal. Truly a work of art.
I agree

Damn, this is a great OST. Really immersive.
Most immersive roguelike iv ever played.
best soundtrack to a game I have heard in a long time.
Live and drink, music-friend.

Lazarus (B-Side)... Entering Bethesda Susa for the first time. What an incredible feeling!

Desert Remembrance is such a Godly fucking track. Fuck I love this game.

Yeah, just after I uploaded this Craig added more songs to the game, I'll have update this eventually with all the newer tracks.

It should be out anytime right now. Release on Steam.
haha coq
great soundtrack. might get a bit repetitive while playing, because of constant dying.
but it stands so strong on its own.

My god that hits
walking the Moghra'yi almost makes you wish the 2nd ice age never ended
This is the requiem of all those who got lost in the desert and met a group of Dawngliders.
you guys would really like the master musicians of joujouka
I think you missed that ape chief village soundtrack. It is the one I'm looking for. It's such a happy tune
Sorry for the late reply, I'm not sure if the track was in the game when I uploaded this but I've been thinking of making an updated version!
3rd Spore Phase
heard Binaural Caverns and had to listen to the soundtrack!
Binaural Caverns really creeps me out. The sounds of giant insects growling and the eerie opera choir. Jesus.

Someone needs to upload Lazarus (B-side) on its own. With a 1 hour loop.
It kind of reminds of me of classic Doctor Who background music.
Great music, but absolutely the hardest to look at background image.
Are some of these songs not used in the game? I’ve finished Tomb of the Eaters, but some of these feel new to me
I took these from Craig's SoundCloud in 2019, I think most of them were in the game at some point but might have been replaced by another song.
i really need help with a doubt but i coudnt finde any discord server or community to ask. Do i lost my items if i left them in the village's ground or chests??
nope
10 years ive been playing this game. 800 hours. Never got much past bethesda susa.
Dont care. Its the best game ever made.
I couldn't get into the game at all, much too hard for my ape brain, but I adore the soundtrack
try playing with checkpoints/saves turned on :) it makes the experience much more enjoyable imo
Can you give me a link to the artwork? I can't find it anywhere online
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1206235103
I inverted the art, I thought it suited my need better.
@@ysno6767 thank you very much, I couldn't find it on my own :(
@@LiciTheCrawler no problem:)
Once you learn how to break the game, damn is it easy to mine the fun well dry...
this reminds me of earthbound in some weird way

In game, the context is far better and the songs seem crafted for the environment

Nnnnnnnnnnnn.
