Mice hate the smell of peppermint, so add a few peppermint oil drops to water in a spray bottle and spray around your flat - worked for me, spiders hate the smell as well. Also I use plug in mouse repellents, which emit a frequency mice don't like.

I had a similar problem in the past in an old built. Even if you will kill them, more will come back. Repellants don't work. It is likely an isolation problem with the building. It's either move out or a cat. I have never had that problem in a new build apartment.

My son lives on the river Thames, works in central London and he can either get a train in or the uber boat. His flats brand new. No rats or mice.
You need to get a cat same thing happened to me at my old flat once I got a cat never saw a mouse again.

Hate to say this but maybe the mice are nesting in the sofa. Mice dont bother me but I do use a humane trap to catch them. Problem is that you have to release them about 1 mile from your house, otherwise they come back. Dont use strong smelling deterrents.....that is an extreme health hazard!!!

Oh no, not mice!!! I have dealt with this issue and thought I was gonna lose my mind. I live in the woods. Big 4 story home. I was gone for the winter and came home to a nightmare. I have put every food item in a plastic bin so they can't get into anything. Ughhhhh so gross!! So much cleaning !! And I cried but had to put down poison after trying everything else. It came down to me or them!!
