Such true words you said in your vlog about other people and what they think. I've wasted far to much of my life including this year with people who couldn't care less about me at all know matter what I buy them or how much I help so you know what I'm not going to bother and bother about me. Yes you remember the experiences you have had...the place you have traveled, the people you met and the people you loved. As a professor of clinical psychology this is one of the MAJOR life lessons I learned and I learned it young.
I lost my entire family almoat to early deaths and was a alone by 18. I eventually went to college and graduate school ten years of high education wbcih set me up for life in every way: financially, intellectually, emotionally and gave me a family of my own too.
As soon as I could travel I did budget travel. Then not budget travel. Then I bought a 45ft yacht a siling vessel and retired to sail the Caribbean at 50 with my 55 yr old mate.
We found a fabulous Latin America country where we felt at home.We built a gorgeous home uere and have been ahere since ...traveling since by cruise ship to Europe at least once a year from Ft Lauderdale except COVID years. It has been a great life filled with joy.

I 100% agree about your staying in monoco for the hoiidays. That is my definition of luxury and its a surpising value proposition. I enjoy sharing your enthusism. My luxurious trip is to a remote area of woods, moutains and lakes, staying in the best Northwest hotel (it's a whole vibe and even decoartive schema in the USA) -- same deal---a value for what I get. Maybe what you need is a contract with a business there so you have a REASON to live there, and an in and connection to meet people? Think on that, becasue if you can do what you did with UA-cam, there is no limit to what you can acomplish. Thanks for another great year of sharing, Happy New Year everyone!

Laura ~ Thank you for all of your many episodes throughout my followings of your past years with hair, makeup, fashion, with condo tours and your travels into beautiful country locations. We have seen the Real Laura as transparent as one can be sharing your heartfelt experiences with us on a six year extreme roller coaster ride journey including survive health issues with Covid-19 along the way. This last one of you alone in Monaco at Christmas is one of my favorites with your conclusion for us at the end of going for your goals and not excepting outside distractions and interferences regardless of real or manufactured.

I like that your mind thought is that you cherish experiences vs luxury items and therefore you willing to invest in travel with just an idea in mind. You provided some excellent one liners that I had to take a note pad and write them down. The sun is burning my soul (I actually choked and still clearing my throat, almost took me out on that one). Great pep talk with the section was influenced by alcohol but the session was good and being 60 years old and worked for someone else you are right that you need to have something of your own so you can strut yourself straight to the bank. That a pretty cool idea to just have a color theme for a trip, it definitely would make packing easier. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

I wondered about what you encountered when out doing your strut videos. Do people laugh at you often? Are they not seeing the camera person? So sad for them, they’re living lives w/so little style that it strikes them as funny to see someone looking the way you do. They are so far from stylish that they literally break out laughing. When I see another stylish woman I think how grateful I am to see her that day, confirming my world view & how I wish more people would smash it. What a wonderful world that would be.
