Terminal 21 was my go to eat place, so many levels. Shopping there was good too, but the weekend markets, now that is shopping

Try “Terminal 21” mall. They got the cheapest food court in Bangkok. It’s at BTS Asoke station.

Also air conditioning in Terminal 21. Highly rated by Gary the roaming cook.

Bangkok is definitely cheaper to shop and live than chiang mai..its a +14 million city vs a 1.2 million and most transports with goods goes up from Bangkok to Chiang mai.
You just have to learn where to shop and what in Bangkok. Personally i avoid all the malls when i shop and the brand stuff isn't always better, remember u pay not only for the brand u pay for their commercial too and as many of the top brands live on old products that was the top things long time ago ;)

    Fun fact`:
the licensed scooter taxi drivers (win) in orange or red wests are by law working directly with the royal Thai police as extra eyes/ears/witnesses against crimes and have often first eyes on a accident or crime.
They are literally everywhere latest numbers shows that there are about +90000 drivers and 5,564 motorcycle taxi stations in Bangkoks different districts total..
That's one of the less unknown reasons why bangkok is so safe to be in.. apart from all the police, locals and cameras that are everywhere too=)

I think you may like Jatuchak weekend market a lot of things to see and also 😢 Clonglatmayom floating market to see real communites. If you stay at Thonburi section the other side of Chopraya river, you can see real like of old Bangkok and cost of living is reasonable. You have to learn how to use MRT,Sky Train and air conditioning buses that save a lot of money for transportation, and don’t forget Gap much much better than taxis and tuk tuk.Good luck and enjoy Bangkok.❤

You are new here in Thailand. So moments like this You should travel everywhere. Then let's see which place you like the most.
Thailand is not too big. Getting there is easy. And Thailand is divided into 4 simple regions: North, South, East, Northeast, West, and each region is different.
    You've been to the North.
Central Bangkok It is the best known and most convenient nowadays.
The southern region has the sea. If you like the atmosphere with the sea. And the weather is consistently good throughout the year. The food here is the spiciest and can be said to be the spiciest.
The eastern region is similar to the southern region, in that it is next to the sea. And there are people who have different religions than those in the south.
Northeast There will be the driest weather. But it is a place with many interesting local cultures. And people are having the most fun. As far as I've ever encountered And the people here are very patient. Have creativity, effort and good skills.
When I was a child The Northeast used to be an area that I never liked and never wanted to come to. But when I came and stayed there for a while, I really liked it. The people are very kind and have a very fun spirit. The food here is spicy. And there are many strange things. For me, only a few things are edible. This was due to my own dietary restrictions that I wasn't used to.
But if I choose to stay in Chiang Mai, it will still be my first choice. Because maybe you've been to another place the most. Because there are many relatives here. and have been seeing each other since childhood
and Bangkok because it is my hometown Probably the most familiar.
The southern region has cool weather. The temperature is quite stable. Don't change too much. The people are also very friendly. and frankly
Northeastern region, for me it is a matter of spirit. If you are interested in spirituality This region has the most interesting places to study and practice.

Well, the Nizorol shampoo is always expensive. (More like a pharmaceutical shampoo.)
However, the local shop, or even the Gourmet Market, Big C, Lotus, can be much cheaper and have more options for you!
Do you speak some basic Thai?
That will help you a lot!
    Have fun!

Love your vids man, will be heading to Bangkok after visiting the Philippines next week, definitely avoid taking a bike/scooter, cars are way safer, or maybe you could take the bts sky trains, theyre supposedly really good, do you know how the ticketing system works for them? Do you buy a card thing and load it with credit or is it best to just buy a daily ticket or something?

    • @HalfieLife
      @HalfieLife  3 місяці тому +1

Thanks I appreciate the support, I’m glad you enjoy the vids :) Awesome to hear that your going to travel to Bangkok, yeah taking the bts trains is a good way to travel around here in Bangkok. Also be sure to have the grab and bolt app which you can have a car/motorcycle pick you up for not a bad price. Pretty sure they use a rabbit card for the trains. I’m pretty new to Bangkok so I’m also learning about the ticketing system right now haha. Have a good day 😊
