The beach is still great in Patong but I can do without the rest of it which has really gone downhill since Covid and the Russian invasion of Ukraine (which really changed the population in Phuket. )

Love that picture when you started talking about the hotel. Prices at beach hotels in the USA work the same way--extremely high and higher in the summer. Your videos open up a new world for many of us: very nice scenery and interesting people.

Sounds like someone who has their life funded by their parents who work in Australia. No mention of how you fund this lifestyle, what jobs are available to foreigner's and how little they pay. So I'm guessing your parents are funding your holiday because you don't want to work and it's cheaper for them to fund your life in Thailand rather than in Australia....I live in Melbourne, I pay full rent on a single wage, I live by myself and work in a warehouse. I have 3 motorbikes to register. And I still manage to get away for holidays, last Christmas I rode my bike through outback N.S.W. & QLD. up to FNQLD. to Cape Tribulation, stayed in motels and one fancy one in Port Douglas the whole trip....I guess some people are just lazy and want a free ride....

Just bear in mind that a huge number of young Thai people want to leave their country and live elsewhere for all kinds of reasons. If you thought your salary in Australia was shit, find out about salaries in Thailand. There is a huge difference. Anyway, keep exploring your new life and good luck.

Hi Joshua, i am so happy for you moving to Thailand and making a new life for yourself. This must of been a tough decision, but your heart and soul knows what is right for you. Joshua, so after three months, what do you do.. Do you have to leave somewhere else for a few days, and then come back to Thailand and stamp the visa again for another 3 months. If you are renting what happens to this, do you have to find another apartment again or would you tell the rental agent to hold it you will be back. Also how many times do you have to do this with out going out of Thailand all the time. It would be nice to stay there and rent if you can after a certain time. Enjoy😊😊
