- Talking about why the iPhone 12 Pro is amazing in 2022 and 2023. Is it still a good choice to get more than 2 years after the release? An updated iPhone 12 Pro review! Should you still buy it in 2023?
iPhone 12 Pro came out 2 years ago, and at that time, I didn't consider it a good choice for most people. But today and in 2023, I think it's one of the best iPhones you can buy. That's why we're taking another look at it to see why that's the case and how it holds up in 2023.

In my opinion, iPhone 12 Pro is the best choice out there if you're looking for a great reliable phone with a great camera that's gonna last you a long time, but you don't want to spend a grand on something like the iPhone 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max.

Still have my 12pro till this day and I work 10 hrs shift never complained about the battry life tbh , the only reason ima upgrade is I let my step son play some cod and he messed up the speakers and cracked the screen 😂

I've had mine since launch and other than going through a battery (and rather soon a 2nd one as well), I can't really justify upgrading to the 14. Before this, I had the X, which I also kept for 3 years simply because I felt there wasn't much of a difference between it and its successors. When I upgraded to the 12 Pro Max, the biggest difference I felt was the upgrade in size, not the processing power or the camera :D
i had the xs max, then the 12 pro max and now the 14 pro max and tbh the 12 pro max for me was a pointless upgrade and i kinda regretted it, i only upgraded to the 14 pro max for the high refresh rate display,.

I legit just bought a used iPhone 12 Pro, because my 11 was already super fucked up. Nice video for sure, helped a lot at getting a feel of it. I spent around $600 on it though because its the 500GB one. Pricey still in my opinion, but I just couldn’t deal with the Face ID not working.

Just got the 12. Such an amazing phone. It has 5G, MagSafe, a decent battery, the size of the phone fits in the palm of my hand, it has amazing speakers. It’s just overall a great device. I’ll choose it over the 11 simply because it has newer cellular data technology, that will be beneficial in the long run, as well as an OLED screen. Yes it doesn’t have the 120 hertz, but besides that it’s a good phone. The 13 and 14 and like 95% the same phone. And the 12 is 90% what the 13 is

@@tota64 I’ve had mine since February /Jan 2021 days my maximum right now is 82% I do use it often and find myself charging it a lot these days but it wasn’t always like that.

I recently got an iPhone XS which is a 2018 model. I run iOS 16.7 at the moment because the iOS 17 battery life problems on older devices such as my XS are not yet fixed. Rest assured, the XS from 2018 runs as smooth as any other Android from 2023. I will most likely upgrade to 12 Pro Max next spring, but only because I want an ultra wide camera and a bit of a bigger battery. This is my first iPhone and I’m never going back to buggy Androids.

I am just ordered a 12 pro for my first iPhone. I'm currently using the s22 plus I'm excited to see what ios has to offer. Not excited to go back to 60hz though 😅
I am also contemplating in getting the 12 pro for a secondary phone since am already rocking the s23 ultra. Just wanted to see how much iOS has changed since I last owned an iPhone 7.

I use it as a webcam for streaming the 12 pro. The 14 pro is amazing in anything, waaaay more perfect made than the 12 pro, already loving it more than i did with the 12 pro.
Not everyone has deep pockets like you kid.. some of us live in countries where the iPhones are incredibly expensive
The 13 series is still too expensive for me especially the fact that I don’t live in the US so I would rather update from the 11 to the 12 pro max. So thank you for this video

That's a great idea, I'll think about making something like that in the future. But my setup is pretty simple. I record most of my videos with an iPhone 12 (I use Filmic Pro not the default camera app) and I have just one softbox with an led light. Rode lav mic for the voiceover that I add after recording the video. You can take a look at everything I use in the description of this video.
Still using this in 2024. Gonna get the 17 pro next year
A great phone, I had mine since launch and only just replaced it a couple weeks ago with a 14 Pro Max. I could only justify an upgrade because I wanted a much bigger battery. Otherwise this phone was perfect 📱📱

@@jean-lucblanc4605 Hi, first I don't think there is really too much difference between the notches. It doesn't add any functionality! And with the battery it all depends what type of user you are, my screen time is ridiculously high and thus the battery life on the 12 Pro wasn't enough. To be honest, I can easily burn through the battery on my 14 Pro Max! But in general, yes the battery for normal users on the 12 Pro I would say is decent.

Yes. There isn’t much difference in performance between a14/a15/a16. So, iPhone 12 and above is still worth buying.

If you planing to buy one make sure the battery health is more than 90% and you are good to go for couple of years (( one thing i wish i have in my iPhone is the pro motion display)) thats it.

I am thinking about trading 3 Month or so old Verizon S22 8/128 for an iPhone 12pro or 13. I have a few others to throw in. Those are unlocked a pixel 4xl and one plus 7t all last 5 to 6 plus SOT. Extremely few micro scratches on them. One on the s22 tiny. I think I'll try swappa or locally. I want to keep one 4xl pixel and one hope to find iPhone. Best of both worlds. For a year or 2.

its a good phone but the screen is 60hz and thats the biggest issue for me. im using 180hz monitor and looking at 60hz phone just wasnt comfortable. id say 13 pro max is a better phone, since it has a big battery and also a 120hz screen. i jumped from 12 pro max to 14 pro max and now the phone has everything i need. probably will use it for the next 3 years

I'm an Android user, I'm considering between the iphone 12 and 13 for my first iphone ever. Witch one would you recommend?
Both are great! If it's your first iPhone, go with the 12 since it's cheaper and has almost the same features as the 13. The only real reason to go with the 13 would be battery life. If you're a heavy user you'll definitely notice a difference there.
Went from a 12 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max, and it is a very noticeable upgrade especially 120Hz looking at 60Hz feels choppy now. But beside that it was a brilliant phone, really fast, good camera, battery for me was good although health did degrade quick, got to 85% after 2 years.

Yeah go for it! "N" just means it's a replacement, it doesn't specify its condition. It can be refurbished or brand new, as long as it's a replacement it's gonna have an N in there 😀

My only concern with p12 pro is tge battery drain, my job depends on my phone, so I need to keep the screen open to use the app, full charge is servicing me 3 hours, after I need to change it again, I work around 10 hours so I keep it most of the time in power bank, I have huwaui p20 pro in battery is much better than 12 pro. otherwise the phone is nice and working just fine like new.

Depends on what's more important to you. If you want a bigger screen and that premium design - 12 Pro Max. A smaller version of that would be the regular 12 Pro. But if u want longevity and battery life, go with the 13. Oh also 12 Pro Max and 13 have a slightly better camera setup but it's really not that big of a difference. All three have great cameras overall. Hope that helps, lmk if you have any more questions 😀
i upgraded from a 11 pro to a 12 pro max and so far it’s really good with battery life and camera also better. If you want a big phone i recommend the 12 pro max but if you don’t mind having the normal sized version i say you get the 13 due to it being the most recent which means that it will have a longer support time.
I love my 12 pro. By far best iPhone I’ve ever owned. I get a new iphone every 3- 4 years or so.

unfortunately the zoom and focus got ruined with the software updates after IOS 15 to make the 13 PRO and 14 PRO look better.
My old SE does better job with 1 cam on close ups then the 12 PRO with 3 cams, try out to focus on anything closer then 10-15cm,not even macro range, like a flower shot one handed... sad that Apple nerfs its old phones to sell new ones.

Sure, thing wont change that much in the next 6 months. It should still be as good as it is today! Although when the 15 lineup drops, 13 Pro will also get a price drop so that's another great option to consider with the 120hz refresh rate.

Both great choices! 12 Pro Max is newer with those flat edges, 5g and cameras are a bit better, but it's not a huge difference. If it's your first iPhone, maybe go with the 11 Pro Max since it's a bit cheaper and you still get most features of newer iPhones.

12 Pro is in my opinion a bit more premium when it comes to design, build materials, and just an overall feel of the phone. But the 13 is newer, has a better chip and battery it'll definitely be supported longer. If she doesn't care about design that much, I actually think the 13 is a better choice.

12 pro can shoot in RAW and you have other pro camera features. I don't believe they're available on the standard 13 model

Both are great imo! 12 Pro is ofc newer, has those flat edges and the camera is a bit better. But it's not a huge difference in performace, you can't go wrong with either one.
