I recommend the xiaomi bud lites 4 for budget semi-open. sound quality and sound stage is great. not much bass, but very clear. But for instrumental and classical music im loving em.
@@ReganCipher no problem. I just got the soundpeats capsule 3 pro, and air 3 deluxe, i grabbed it for 15$ usd each, cuz someone got them for free cuz of a review, and listed them for such a low price $15 each on the market, but they only used them once. What a bargain haha! Would use my qcy ht05, but they get uncomfy after 2 hours, a bit bulky but ANC is really good on those. and sound quality is really good too it's actually better then the capsule 3 pro, in sound quality I'm happy with the capsules warm v-shaped tuning tho, and if i want somthing more clear or neutral tuning sounding i use the air deluxe 3, or xiaomi buds 4 lite. becoming a huge fan of semi-open ear buds, like yourself they put no pressure on the ears.
Great review! TrueFree T3 vs SoundPEATS Air3 vs SoundPEATS Air4 Lite (if you had a chance to test them) - which whould you reccomend? It's hard to decide. Important things to me are comfort, sound when listening to music and phone calls. Thanks.
Thank you! I'm hoping to get hold of the Air4 Lite and Air4 very soon. I really like the Soundpeats Air3 Deluxe HS (better than the original Air3) as the sound is very smooth and they perform well on calls. Comparing the TrueFree T3 or Air4 Lite with the Air3 in terms of design is like comparing the Airpod Gen 3 with the Gen 2 - the former are a bit larger and use their size to stay in your ear a bit more securely, but I don't think they are quite as comfortable, at least not for me, as the smaller designed Gen2/Air3 style. The T3 did surprise me as they performed quite well for sound and calls, but I don't think they are close to the Air3 Deluxe HS and I'd expect the Air4 Lite to also perform well in that respect. Thanks again for watching 🙏
I really appreciate the details in your reviews, and the frequency response measurement is a big plus. It is nice to see some more competition in the half in-ear market Btw, have you tried the Fiil CC Nano? I really wanted to see your review on those but i didn't find it neither on your channel nor on head-fi
Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated! I haven't tried the CC Nano unfortunately, I was keen to try them but I had some issues with the CC Pro and FIIL weren't very helpful in resolving them so I didn't want to spend big again unless I was sure I would get some support from the manufacturer if things went wrong. They have since resolved it, but I think they have a newer release coming soon so I'll probably wait for that. I do have the SoundPEATS Air4 and Oppo Air3 to record, and I'm hoping to get the Huawei FreeBuds 5 as well - I do prefer the half in ear style myself so there will be more to come for sure 👍👍
@@ReganCipher thanks for answering! I understand, i have read comments on FIIL not having a decent after sales support, quite sad :/ I saw in their facebook profile that they have a new release, a successor for T1 Lite. And yep, it's being time for a new Nano release too. I already read the Oppo enco air3 review on head-fi, tuning looks pretty good, and i'm waiting for the one on the Soundpeats Air4, that's the big one probably 🔥
Yeah T17 are quite comfortable as they have quite a shallow insertion and a thin nozzle. QCY T18 and the ZMI Purpods were two I used to go back to quite a bit as well. Generally, I prefer semi in ear for comfort though. Thanks for watching! 🙌
It's the same design as QCY T20 & Apple Airpod 3. I found it to be quite comfortable to be honest, because it just sits on your ear rather than in it, but I know for many people having plastic against your ear isn't preferable, so I guess it's what you're used to. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙌

I saw them a while ago and thought they looked interesting, thanks for the heads up! 👍

Outdoor seems good but for indoor calls it seems not so good
Yeah, often the way unfortunately 😩
what is the most comfortable earbuds, u wore? i was looking at ur head-fi reviews, and t17 seems to be high up there. any other recommendations?

Great review, thanks! I hope you still have subscribers left now people know you're a wolves supporter though 🤣
Oh god I hope not, it's punishment enough having had to watch them for the last 35 years!!
The color is horrendous. 😂
Horrible design i feel it's going to be really uncomfortable
