I had been experiencing a lot of coughing, nose running, itchy skin and eye irritation. Know matter how much I cleaned my home, my allergies continued. While on UA-cam, I saw an advertisement for sanitizing our homes the way hospitals and surgical clinics do. At first I thought, another scam but I researched and learned how these sanitizers work, I decided to purchase one. Just as this young lady is describing in the video, that's exactly how it works. I've sanitized two rooms in my apartment and my allergies are significantly better. The air quality in both rooms is better. You can sanitize as often as you like and this sanitizer is so light that you can carry it from room to room. Our air quality in our homes can be more polluted than outdoors. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to clean their home using less chemicals
I went the UV-C route when Covid first hit and N95 masks (both my wife and I work at a hospital) were scarce as hen's teeth. Being instructed to reuse our N95s, I followed instructions on how to create a sterilization box and though I never swabbed agar plates to confirm, I believe it was effective. The one thing I had not been prepared for was the ozone that my particular unit (slightly different from yours) generated. I had been burned in the past on UV-C LED units purchased off Ebay that didn't generate any UV-C, so I purchased one with an actual bulb similar to the one you've reviewed and purchased UV-C detection cards to use in addition to the "banana-peel test". After a 15 minute test of the unit in the garage, I detected the odor of burning wires and thought nothing of it while inspecting the significantly darkened peel and activated card when my nose began pouring blood. The burning wire odor was of course, O3 (ozone). No big deal mitigating a build-up of O3 as over a short amount of time (45 minutes to be safe) it will convert back into O2. Just something to keep in mind as high concentrations of ozone can cause irritation to exposed mucus membrane.
How do we know that it really kills dust mites and bed bugs? I am assuming we have to vacuum mattresses, furniture, floors to get rid of the dead mites and bugs, right?
The competition will go after anyone or anything that runs against their profits. Use your head Commentors. Try things out for yourselves and Then give your honest, educated opinion, not before. I ordered this and if I don't notice a drastically good difference, I'll return it.
Thank you so much, I just got one, for cleaning the air but I just notice that I got those little creatures on my bed, 😢is this going to help getting rid of it, please help me.
I bought one -- it's ok ---- but wish I would have researched it first -- then -- I bought a plain 254nm UV-C light (38watt) that does NOT produce ozone ------ I like it so much better so I bought another more powerful light 55watt 254nm UV-C light. Don't have to wait you can be in the room as soon as the light is off and NO ozone to fight ---- HINT: put an oscillating fan on high in the room to help dissipate the ozone quicker. P.S. FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES with any of these lights.
I, no longer sanitize any area of my house with my Uvilizer, while I am at home. I wait until when I'm going to be out a significant amount of time and then sanitize that area. When I return the area smells fresh and there's no trace of ozone
I have another brand. Run 4 of them for better coverage and dosage. The higher the intensity the more effective it is. You can run them for hours if you want. Leave a fan by a window blowing out to get rid of the ozone it will create. UVC works. It is just hard to get people to believe in it.
The UV C light causes skin damage like being in the sun for a long time. You can get burned in just a few minutes. Repeated exposure causes skin cancer. Also looking directly at the light will burn your retina and you will have severe pain in your eyes for a couple of days.

How do you get the bulb in? It's too big to fit in both ends?

Where’s the proof? Just that the room smells cleaner?
ANOTHER VIDEO SAYS THAT HER LAMP BEEPS FOR 30 SECONDS WHEN SHE TURNS IT ON
It smells like burnt hair but after the air clear as in 1 hr it does smell clean
Is it the light you shouldn't be around or why cant you be in the room with it?

I THOUGHT YOU COULD RUN IT IN THE ROOM WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING WHY AREN'T THE SELLERS LETTING PEOPLE KNOW THAT BEFORE YOU BUY?
Read what ozone will do to your electrical equipment like your TV. you will fry it.

More BS whats your cut. $$$$
I use it in my bedroom ... I have 3 cats so I chase them out, set the timer and close the door. I have to trust that it's doing what it claims to do.
