- I road from my house to shop and here’s how I feel about it so far.
After this video I went to work on the bike, made some changes did some riding and it’s getting better. More videos to come.

I have this exact same bike and love the shit out of it but this review is hilarious. Definitely some design flaws from the factory I’ll agree with
It is a damn good bike. It just doesn’t fit me well and my writing style but I’m gonna change some things and make it my own fun toy
I hated that bike... I totally agree about the power band... Not a Normal motorcycle .... Honestly felt like a death trap...I don’t feel so bad now...Thank you..!!

I feel the same way. Got a 01 dyna and my 2 buddies bought brand new m8 soft tails. They have a wicked high pitch vibration feels like a behive in the motor. Also the motors sound like they come from the factory with pre spun bearings. You can hear the motor spinning. Disappointed considering they are 15k ish and the fxlrs is like 20k
Every time Harley comes out with a different design it’s not an improvement it’s just a cheaper way for them to manufacture something usually. These bike make a ton of power and they handle well they just need some things tuned up on them. Much like every Harley Davidson
So sad to see the magneto go aka goldie..I loved that bike!!

I bought my first Harley last year (2020 Fat Bob) and I was originally introduced to your channel after searching for Fat Bob videos to watch. I do agree the M8 doesn't sound like a typical Harley. It's disappointing, but I'm going to try to make it sound the best I can. I'm still trying to find an exhaust that looks good, sounds good without being too loud and definitely doesn't scrape in turns. I'm a back roads bandit not a stunter. I've watched some other videos and you seemed to have warmed up to the M8 somewhat so hopefully we start seeing some awesome parts.
Yes we’ve been building a bunch of them I quite love them now they are a bitch to work on but a great motorcycle. I’ll post a link for the best pipe out there for the M8 hands-down

I’ve got 65k on my bike now and as far as I know it’s a bone stock 88 with a set of pipes and it’s been great to me I’m just getting into the hooligan stuff though so I guess I’ll see later down the road
04-05 Is a great year especially the fuel injected. You get all the good stuff smaller frame good five speed transmission and Delphi fuel injection. The only bad part is they only make seats for those years and gas tanks for those two years so it’s kind of harder to get stuff but they are great bikes
So overall... your favorite Harley ever? 🤔😂

Well its seems ti be customized a bit for a specific rider, giessing he may have been a bit taller than ya. Also, counter steering is pretty crucial for tight cornering on many cruisers. Seems its more just, not what you been riding
I never even talked about counter steering. But yes I do not like the set up of this bike for me
I rarely find someone that I 1000% agree with but, I do! Another #wtf is Harley Davidson thinking moment! lol

I got hit on my 14’ dyna street bob, bike got totaled. Insurance payed me out n I bought a 21’ FXLRS 2 days ago. Only ride on it is home from the dealer cause it started dumping snow but this doesn’t make me feel too excited for my brand new 20k bike
You have a very nice bike, but just like every single new Harley you just gave to change a few things and make it fit YOU 🤘🏼
If you watch more of this series you will see that I quite come to love this motorcycle.
Never been so proud of my Honda shadow purchase. It might suck too but the price didn’t hurt my pride or pockets lol “shifts like a nice Honda”

. I’m not gonna even attempt to make anyone fall in love with them. They’re not everyone’s cup of tea. I’d rather be on a fxr myself. That will come again though. Just waiting for a good time to be able to rebuild it. That being said people like to come and look at it. I’m trying to build it. So if you guys decide to produce those cages. I’d be very interested in getting one from you guys. One of the reasons why I haven’t done it yet And my fender had paid a bit for that (scratched) is because I’ve been just waiting patiently for you guys to start these builds. Idk if I’ll keep it forever but it will be nice when I’m done with it. Rather going into someone else’s collection or I’m going to end up keeping it for shows after it’s painted. Been riding it and building one for a year and some change. Can’t say that I have issues handling it, it’s just a different feel.
This thing is definitely growing on me I’m just hating on the initial set up. It’s different I don’t like change very stuck in my old ways, time to get into the future

I’ve rode a ton of them. They are nice bikes. I just don’t like the ergonomics of how you sit in the biker control the motorcycle I have short arms

😂 I Just Fucking traded in my dyna and bought one of these and every Fucking thing you said is true! On my first ride i just kept saying what the fuck did i do! Worst season position ever! Only reason I got it is cause I work at the dealer and i got the used rental lowrider for 13.5k CAD
