Little did old ScamBoi know who he's dealing with 😂 You're too kind man,6 months is a long time for someone to take back whatever they sold. When i sell something online i'd just give them a few days or a week so they can see everything's fine but in 6 months time alot of things can happen. This dude probably had the same pc in non working order and tried to scam you to get his money back and be left with a working pc or he found another pc being sold as non-working for cheap and decided to try his luck
I offer no warranty, I let the person buying the PC fully test it before they hand the cash over. I just couldn't afford to offer warranty, wouldn't make PC flipping worthwhile to me. I also run a CPU and GPU stress test for a few hours too, I know it's good.
i would not even keep it..i would go and put it back on their doorstep.u dont need the hassle at the claims court of having to explain how you decided to keep the property
Depending on the age of the system it might have the bad bios which overvolts the cpu and eventually kills one memory channel on the processor making it seem like a dead motherboard or dead set of ram.

I would’ve returned it with every single part either bricked or unnoticeably broken
Or just take the processor,ram,gpu and ssd and replace them with the cheapest ones i had on hand and then return it to him
