@@Kaoknowsalot 3a is exactly her pattern 3b is a little bit tighter because 3c is really tiny but still is obviously defined.
This girl knows what she’s doing. Bought myself a silicone scalp massager brush, an the little key chain thing for the pony tail is genius , won’t dent the curls.

My hair is much shorter than yours but I’m going to try this! I’ve been doing the finger curls to frame my face and I love them but this look really looks like a great technique! I have most of these products too I just need to get a brush that is similar! ❤️❤️

I've been doing the technique you used here with brushing the hair to make the curls larger while it is wet, it works! I learned a few tips from you. I haven't tried adding the product to my hair and am currently using a wet brush not a denman brush. I have been using Design Line shampoo and conditioner (Enchanted midnight) for years but they are running low on stock and have been searching for a new product. I also have been using Kerastase Argan oil that I add in after I've coiled my hair with brush while it's wet. I let it air dry while I sleep and I wake up with bouncy shiny curls. Not having these product is throwing a monkey wrench in my routine and my hair is showing it. Also, the Argan oil I use is $51 and I was looking for a more affordable brand.
For styling I have jumped several products as I haven't found one that I'm in love with, so I will definitely try your suggestion.
My son also has curly hair & now the that cost has risen due to him needing the same products as I do. Looking for something more affordable. I've tried the Cantu products and they seem to heavy for my 3a-3c curls. I'm not sure what the porosity of my hair is.
Question: What porosity is your hair? Do these products leave your hair crunchy?

I love the routine and the "denman shake", I have similar hair and am going to definitely try. Personally can’t tolerate the smell of the she moisture. Really wish I could because I love the results.

I tried this technique today and it definitely helped with volume and definition - thank you! My curls aren’t nearly as voluminous or defined as yours but this has kept me from getting the dreaded triangle shape that my hair wants to achieve 😅

You use oil to seal in the moisture you’ve just applied x
Yes!! Typically the ends of your hair are the most delicate, so the less dry/brittle they are the better. This will help minimize breakage.

The one thing I noticed about your routine is that you twist your hair at the top and this isn’t me bashing or like trying to be rude but that could cause a lot of breakage and you should be very careful since it gives the same effect as putting your hair in a bun which causes a lot of breakage! Your video was extremely helpful and I hope you have a great day!

So if my hair just brushes flat with no girls am I not a 3b? I literally have to use curlers!
If you have to use curlers to curl your hair then your hair isn't curly, or it could be your hair is more wavy than curly, if your hair was naturally 3b you wouldn't need to use curlers to get the curls, if I didn't use any product in my daughters hair her hair would still have curls, they just wouldn't look as good and would get frizzy very very quickly, so if you need curlers to get the curls like the girl in the video, then sorry but your hair is not naturally curly as naturally curly hair will still curl even without products or manipulation
Are you supposed to do this everyday and how do you get the gel out??
you dont , it stays in your hair unfil the next wash day . its called gel because it locks your curls in place , but it isnt necessarily like the gel you may be thinking of . it doesnt make ur hair flake or get hard

For the diffuser can u use a regular blow dryer with a diffuser thing ?
I’m pretty sure as long as it’s got a diffuser attached. I have one that is detachable but as long as your use a diffuser it does the same job. Hope this helps lol
