As an Indian farmer I can assure you that Mahindra tractors and Mahindra engines are very reliable and low maintenance ..bought first Mahindra tractor in 2003 and second in 2017

I run a 35hp kubota L2850 from 1986 and a farmi winch and I was pulling out a 4500lb (20"diameter x 21 feet long) White oak log today, and that was prolly about as a big a log as the 3 pt hitch could get off the ground and 35hp could skid to the landing power braking around corners in mud because the loader wasnt heavy enough to keep the front end on the ground, I was just thinking about what I could do with a 50+ hp tractor and that grapple bucket is a huge bonus, maybe a slightly smaller grapple but you could stack logs up at the landing with that, this is a great setup and a 7000lb 50hp tractor is going to be small enough to be maneuverable in tight forests, and heavy enough to handle almost anything you want to pull out, I can do alot with that small kubota, and it has glideshift Transmision which is a really great, easy to use 1-8 gear trans, but for skidding bigger trees this Mahindra would handle the load a lot easier without being stressed, I have a local dealer that sells mahindra, they are certainly better priced than the kubotas, my tractor is 30 years old and I just had to have the engine rebuilt and the trans was done a few years ago, and its has been worked hard, but still strong. I havent looked to close at mahindra yet, but I imagine they are up to the task, anyone have any work experience with them, that can attest to their build quality and strength? any weak points?
    just my 10 cents
