This is a good show I like how they preserved the facial features of the puppets for each brother for this updated version. Plus they kept the vehicles and launching sequences the same.
Love how even though its all cg all the designs and movements are just like the old puppets
"its all cg all the designs and movements are just like the old puppets" and THAT is what makes it such a crappy show.
If the creators had had CGI at the time they would have done miracles - This is crappy try at making CGI look awful AND THEY HAVE SUCCEEDED.
ALL the charm in the original was all the work to make puppets and models as realistic as possible NOT the contrary.
It not all CG although some is.

LOLOLOL!
Fun fact! The sets and props are all miniature models, not CG!
They really wanted to use marionettes like the original series did, but according to the test screenings, kids these days are terrified of them
@@team3383 oh be quiet
Thunderbirds are GO!
You can not beat that appearance of T2. She's beautiful regardless her appearance.
No kidding there pal
“I almost missed my favorite show.”
Heh love the use of Stingray footage. Think it’s time Stingray makes a comeback. Captain Scarlet had its chance and so did Thunderbirds.
Loved this show! Are we FINALLY getting series 3 here stateside? Because that would just be awesome!!
its on plex i believe
I love the remake of this show.
Ahh I love this show so much! 💙💚❤️💛🧡
You're a Thunderbirds fan & a Journey band fan like me?! Sick!!!
never heard of these guys before but I'm really enjoying this show
Thank you Shout!Factory... i really loves this series especially since they expand TB5 roles in rescue operations
We need more thunderbirds shows
Grandma tracy vs cooking module
Love the music very dramatic
Hope to see another series out soon
Is it me or the pacing is dizzyingly fast? It's like they're trying to cram 3 episodes into one.
My favorite episode 😍
Heh, the mobile sealab is based on the Eagle Transporter from Space 1999.
Also, they _finally_ got to show the recovery process of Thunderbird 4, which had always been a sticking point for the first show's history.
The CGI Version Is Action Packed And Hilarious But It’s Very Very Very Hard To Beat The Original.
I think David Graham did the voice of Parker in the 1960s TV show.
I'm from Brazil and I love it!!!
The puppets and sets are what made this show special. CG is no substitute no matter how much you try to replicate them.
Well they did this because kids nowadays are terrified by puppets, and no one can change my mind, also the sets the ships and the hangers are not CGI in fact they used miniature set pieces for the ships the sets and the hangers
@@suerootes9771 There are plenty of successful modern shows which feature puppets. CG at this level is simply cheaper to produce as it can be easily redesigned in a fraction of the time.
You do realize how much work goes into CGI, right? And most of this is actually a miniature set, only really the characters are CGI (or 3D animation).
@@ThegreatfishfromMars I work with 3D models, and the tools available now are far more advanced than they were when movies like TRON were created. CG is now cheaper to make than miniatures of equal quality. When it comes to miniatures and puppets, you're paying for material as well as labour. Plus with AI, CG animations will soon be as easy to create as an AI painting. In my opinion, traditional will always be superior because it can't be recreated by a machine.
@@gunstargizmo I'm referring about how hard it is to do.
Thats awesome!
Comments 52 I like it when they rescue and help people and they work as a team. I like the thunderbirds and the airplanes and I like Penelope the agent and the car. I also like the accent from England and Scotland and I am part Scottish and full blood Irish
Barbara Holmes blue circle to the left
Notice the 3rd guy looks like Ben Shpero
good remake of the 1965 classic thunderbirds tv show better than the unwatchable 2004 version
Comments, 52 I have been a fan for fifty seven years with the thunderbirds the science fiction series episodes show for a long time. I like the different vehicles that they use and I like science that has and the subjects on them. Barbara Holmes blue circle to the left. So - FAB-1 squirts oil on the road -causing the bad guy to spin out...um...so what prevents the next poor, innocent schmuck who's driving on that road a couple of minutes later from...OK...nevermind - they set TB-2 to handle that.
😍😍😍 my fvt... Tq
Fun fact theres a lemon juicer in every episode
Plz upload more TAG episodes! Thnx☺️🧡
3:29 "Stingray" Easter Egg.
John: I almost missed my favourite show
Lot of people: relatable
What does Fab stand for
I think fully automated broadcast
Poyfik 👌
Nope.
No puppets means it's NOT supermarionation. And therefore is an insult to Gerry Anderson's memory.
He approved it so suck on that
@@jollyolly34 He got a lot of money near the end of his life. This thing lacks the charm and artistry of the original.
After seeing Adam Savage's tour of the miniature sets at Weta Workshop and reading that Gerry Anderson had approved this "revival" I was hopeful Thunderbirds Are Go would be enjoyable. It is not. I watched the Supermarionation Thunderbirds as a kid in the 1960s and still love it. This is unwatchable. Gerry Anderson may have approved the concept of the new show but he passed before production started. I can't imagine he would have signed off on this product. I actually prefer the 2004 live action over this version. What a sad attempt that completely dishonors Gerry Anderson's vision.
Oh wow. Too bad for you. I loved this and it adhered closely to the spirit of the original. The 2004 live-action sucked balls and if you prefer that, you are entirely alone.
What an insult to the genius of Gerry Anderson. Are you kidding me?
Oh be quiet. Don't watch then
Nah sorry not even close.
Don't watch it then. :)
Wtf
None of the charm of the original ... could not watch through.
Glad you're not here!
WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO THE PUPPETS?! THIS CARTOONISH CRAP IS AND NEVER WILL BE INTERNATIONAL RESCUE!
I realise this reinterpretation of Thunderbirds is meant to appeal to a new generation of gamer kids - but the original wasn't "childish" like this is - it treated kids like small adults, it didn't patronise them. CGI cannot replace the 'perfection of the imperfect originals' ...They have totally missed what made Thunderbirds compelling viewing. The tension of initial failure and then success after reattempt. The tension racked up by characters in peril we had come to care about after some kind of build-up of plot. The superbly dramatic cliffhanger music by Barry Gray, beautifully synced with what was happening on screen. Even the initial countdown that previewed what was coming up in the episode was ditched. Unfortunately the CG characters throughout the series are oddly bad and the Tracey brothers look like a boy band. Lady Penelope is awful, does Parker have a clipped Indian accent? Tin-Tin was supposedly re-named Tanusha "Kayo" Kyrano due to copyright issues with the Hergé comic book character Tintin, it is good to see her character updated, but why reinvent Tin-Tin as Lara Croft and what happened to Kyrano her father and brother of the Hood? What happened to Brains' stammer, too non-PC for todays audience - and is Brains' now Indian??? Who manages International Rescue political affairs with Jeff Tracey dead? ... and grandma looks like a Sarah Millican sketch comedy! Everything seemed too rushed, dayglo bright and sanitised. The original puppets had expression and sweat, here Gordon gets knocked out but there's not even a bruise... like he's some sort of plastic toy! The camera doesn't linger on these CG facial expressions for more than a second - because there isn't any - the original marionettes were more expressive! The machines were all ok, but why is Thunderbird 2 the wrong tone of green? Overall, it is all a dreadful disappointment, which promised so much ... Good points: Thunderbird 1 flying, Thunderbird 3 space sequences and it is great to see practical miniature set models of Tracey Island and real water, but the pity is that, with all the CG done over the miniature models, you couldn't tell these models were not CG?
nitpicky
It's not made for you. It's another generation getting into it. Don't watch it, negative Nancy.
Brains' stammer is still there, and the initial countdown is in the first episode, it was cut out here for some reason
@@HeatGoesOn Yes you are ...
