    Your channel is very good! I like the format and the concise explanations. Also, I cannot find anywhere the Oblivion efficent leveling app you mentioned on your previous video. I also have an OCD for item value ratios, love you mentioned it on the video.
    A tip to share: Use the rats in (Arvela I think is her name)'s basement in Anvil, the one from the first fighters guild quest "A rat problem", to train blade, blunt, block, htoh, armors and restoration, just craft a trickling healing spell so they don't die, and if you don't want them to attack you back you can add some fatigue drain and they'll get paralized. Best training spot imo.
    Keep up the good work!

      Thank you so much!
      Sadly, the app was taken down a while back and hasn't been seen since. It's such a helpful tool!

    These tips are intresting and helpful it does make me have to take a step back and carefully think about the game and it’s mechanics I try to plan ahead to get every faction/guild these tips are helpful please keep at it you really know your stuff! (Edit: I’ve noticed while you don’t need all skills to enter factions it helps to use them like using sneak and lockpicking {security in oblivion} in the thieves guild and dark brotherhood quest lines and I always Recommend learning one magic tree {the choice is up to you} so you can enter the mages college {college of Winterhold in Skyrim is also included in this} needless to say you can do a lot but you need to make sure you understand the games mechanics before you delve into the advanced stuff I never thought about efficient leveling while I won’t be getting +5 +5 +5 every single level up it’s nice to know how to level up the attributes without a problem all it takes is a bit of research and experience to take on a games major hurdle). Ps. Sorry about this gigantic word wall

    So for anyone who cares heres a list of some good methods to power level your skills:
    -athletics:swim in a corner forever, can be done easily in the imperial waterfront
    -all magic schools: create a custom on self spell and spam it while holding right click
    -blade,blunt,marksman,hand2hand:max the difficulty and keep slapping someone with alot of health, if you have the deepscorn hollow dlc the prisoner makes for an amazing practise dummy since he is unkillable and forever asleep, use your weakest gear and turn on an auto clicker
    -acrobatics:just jumping everywhere
    -armorer: fix everything everywhere, while doing the ayleid quest for umbacano give him the crown of lindai(the fake one) it turns into a ruined crown with 0 condition that never goes up, you can repair it infinitely
    -light/heavy armor and block:the 3 rats in anvil, just afk, maybe use a heal spell once in a while, make sure you got no reflect damage and put it on max difficulty
    Security:unlock every house at night, if you have dunbarrow cove dlc theres an infinite training chest
    Sneak: go to the arena betting area and sneak into the corner, the more people you sneak around the better and there are 3 or 4 there
    Speech and mercantile completely stump me lmao
    Alchemy:run around every city stealing from barrels all the crappy bread and such then use your collection of foods to create hundreds of fortafy fatigue potions

    Welcome Back! From the leveling guide btw, yeah there was a level missing and should be added between 3 and 7!
    It should be:
    [Mysticism]-[Armorer/Block/Heavy Armor]-[Acrobatics/Athletics/Light Armor] in order to reach 100 endurance early.
    Class:Female Breton
    Attributes: Speed and Endurance
    Birthsign: The Warrior
    This is actually a pretty good build to stop at 25. Congrats!
    Also great video keep it up!

    On a PC, you do not need a bed to rest and regenerate. Just wait an hour.
    You can also damage ghosts etc with the sharpened cutlasses carried by the Anvil Ghost Ship ghosts, the Ancient Akavir katanas from Sancre Tor., Honorblade, and the Dark Brotherhood dagger, which are not enchanted. Also Conjured weapons (dagger spell). Most people are probably thinking fireball when you say magic.

    • @NerdyGamerGal
      @NerdyGamerGal  4 роки тому

      That a good point on the conjured weapons and it's really cool to know about those other weapons!
      I'll have to try waiting for Health regen on the xbox. I always just stayed close to beds because I was leveling relatively quickly, but that could make a big difference while leveling!

    I have a Efficient Leveling tip. Finish Knights of the Nine before level 2. If you do, you can take Mara's blessing and raise starting Endurance from 35 to 40 , 84 health instead of 70 . I agree that Breton is the best but they're soft. Every little bit helps. You also get the Blessing of Talos lesser power for fortify Strength and Endurance. The Crusaders armor is not that great but the magic armor stand will raise the armors level to your level. BTW, I'm your newest subscriber. You go gal !

    you can pickpocket the orc trainers weapons from battlehorn castle, they never break and do 0 damage, you can fight a mudcrab forever to level up blade and blunt, or just fight the orc trainer, but that will also increase block, unless you have a ton of patience and dont mind bouncing your dagger off him and recovering constantly.

    • @NerdyGamerGal

      Skyrim definitely reflined the leveling to make it more intuitive! Some of this advice can apply to both games, but I don't want the more complicated stuff to seem necessary to enjoy the story! I think the more you play any game, the more you want to finesse it, which is where people grow to love even efficient leveling.... if you ignore all that fluff, you can just enjoy the beautiful storylines and environments of Cyrodiil ❤️

    Faster way to level athletics is to use a drain spell on yourself and go to a trainer. Sadly only 5 per level but draining the skill to 0 makes the skill trainer cost nothing. Might just be a PlayStation glitch tho :/

  • @tyrander1652
    @tyrander1652 4 роки тому +1

    I've watched your other two leveling videos and I think you are making it too complicated if what you are trying to do is play your character efficiently (most power when needed for least work).
    Life is easy when you max your killing skill and Endurance early and with little effort.
    5-5-5 from killing skill major, Endurance minor skills, and other attribute from minor skills. Build (spam) the minor skill points quickly, then spend the rest of the level dungeon diving, letting your killing skill determine when you next have to level up.
    Endgame power (e.g adequate for Lvl 50 goblins) very often consists of only three maxed skills 1) Offensive skill, 2) Defensive skill, 3) Helper skill. (Blade, Block, Illusion/paralyze--Marksman, Sneak, Alchemy--Conjuration, Illusion, Alchemy-- etc.) You point out that these can be attained by level 25 for major skills. For the least amount of work per point, you want these to be major skills, but you do not want or need to build them together. During early levels you do not require a lot of defense for survival and almost no helper skill (maybe for a boss here and there), so don't play them (out of sight, out of mind--no point counting). Avoid quests that conflict with building your fighting skill, i.e. max out Marksman before doing Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood Sneak quests--use the lvl 10 Ring of Kajiit to help.
    Concentrate on your offensive skill--if a couple of major skill points pop up from other skills like Acrobatics or Mysticism-soul trapping, just go to your minor skills to make up the point (punch out a wolf, pick a hard lock). You should be able to use that one major killing skill for the bulk of one attribute.
    Big Endurance bonuses are easy if made from at least two minor skills (Armorer and either Heavy Armor or Block, or both), buy lessons, fix as much armor as you can. Minor skills start out very low so you don't have to put much work into them for bonuses, especially if you start out the level with five points from a trainer. There is your 5-5- without keeping records. Then do something with your other minor skills for 5 attribute points, or ignore them and take what comes--put on some light armor and stand in front of a rat for ten points if you want Speed, Make some potions if you want Intelligence --there is your 5-5-X leveling without record keeping. If you save the game as soon as the sleep icon appears you can go back and see what your starting numbers were for the following level.
    Certain things matter more than others. 1) Killing power (heart of the leveling problem), 2) Health/Endurance, 3) Burden amount/Strength. An archer's survival may depend on having 100 Marksman perk to stop charging clannfear at level 15, while only having 67 in Light Armor, Athletics or Acrobatics instead of 100 at level 45 won't be noticed.

    • @NerdyGamerGal
      @NerdyGamerGal  4 роки тому

      This is a very good guide you've laid out!
      I'm a little ocd at times so my goal was to push it as far as possible to come up with the "perfect" build - especially given the scaling dilemma. I've definitely considered doing more specific builds for looser and more reasonable leveling plans

    • @tyrander1652
      @tyrander1652 4 роки тому

      @@NerdyGamerGal It's not really a scaling dilemma. If you play the game the way they lead you through the main quest you scale evenly with the enemies. If you make a better custom character that can play its skills and attributes better, it will scale ahead of the enemies, and if you pick a bad character with a bad skill set and play it poorly it will scale behind them. You can design a character that has endgame winning power for a max difficulty game without raising any skills. All it has to do is cast a few zombie spells to get admitted to the Arcane University and then pick one very hard lock.
      I started out working on those perfect builds, developing equations to determine the best enchantments, etc. It was a lot of effort for the benefit, and a lot of lost playing time.
