Lucas was the perfect contestant for this, and I also enjoyed the homage to the first ever Millionaire winner with the ohone call saying he already knew the answer.
Oh okay. That explains a lot. Yeah I looked up the '91 Twins (because this answer surprised me in the first place) and their run differential was +124.
@@lukec6d9 nahh it just confused me cuz I knew the 91 team was the best in the AL. I thought I had heard that the twins had won a world series with a negative run differential but that 91 team was legit. I looked it up and yeah it was the twins but it wasn't in 91
Glad that last question wasn't a trip up in any material way for Lucas, since the team in question pertains to 1987. One of my favorite facts to be sure.
I look forward to the content from Jomboy Media daily. All of the channels and varied areas are great! Wtg Jake and Jimmy. So happy to see your dreams coming true & gaining momentum! Huge kudos! 🎉🎉☮👏⚾️😎
Jolly asked the cash out question after the wrong questions. When you get the $1000 question right, you are guaranteed to get that amount if you miss any questions above. That is until you get to $32,000. Once you get that question right, you are guaranteed to get that amount. Instead, Jolly should have asked if they wanted to keep the money or keep going after every question except for the two he did. Don't worry, 'my final answer is' that I wont hold it against Jolly, but Regis Philbin would.
Re-enacting the 1st millionaire John Carpenter's moment from the OG Millionaire show was kind of neat. idk if that was an intentional touch by the guy who won, but Pepperidge Farms remembers.
It was all fun and games until there was no correct answer on the $1 million question. (It was the 1987 Twins, not the 1991 Twins). Anyways it was fun.
Question. Who was the first person to win the million dollar question on the original show? Answer is John Carpenter. The answer to it was Nixon. A question about a television show. He used no life lines except to call his dad and tell him he knew the answer to the million dollar question. It’s been won many times since. The person to win the most money in any game show is Ken Jennings on Jeopardy, ironically now the host of it.
This seemed off. I remember the 1991 Twins. They were pretty damn good. So I looked it up. According to Baseball Reference, The 1991 Twins were 95-67 and scored 776 runs while allowing 652. Further research, tests, and consultations with multiple mathematicians shows that 776 runs is, in fact, MORE than 652
Mannn... I didn't realize that about the Twins in 1991. I was at all of the games that were in Atlanta as a youngin. Brutal. Brutal. Brutal. That could only happen to an Atlanta pro sports team.
Both Bobby Witt Jr. and Elly De La Cruz have an average sprint speed in 2023 of 30.5 ft/s according to Baseball Savant. So wouldn't both answers be correct? But I guess this was filmed prior to the end of the season, so before Witt Jr. tied Del La Cruz.
That dude is constantly wrong about anything Giants. Last time I watched something with him in it he said Buster Posey hit like .220 in his last season. He should stop talking about the Giants.
Disappointed that the last question phone-a-friend meme didn't get used. "I don't really need your help, I just want you to let you know I'm gonna win the million dollars."
We need more Lucas on this channel. Testing the limits of his baseball knowledge is entertaining
I need them to craft something that will trip him up.
Hes cringe af
@@t.r4849 Nah that'd be you.
@TheKing12829 Imagine being this cringe.
I think it’s now official that Lucas is the biggest ball knower in the JM office
It's been official lol
I'd say him and then Max
Jake calling Chris Rose is pure content, well done boys
It was fun to see Lucas not be 100% sure about something for 3 seconds.
The $1M answer is the 1987 Twins, not the 1991 Twins
so he got it wrong and Jomboy doesn't have to pay....
"WHAT, YOU USED ME ON QUESTION 4?!" 😂
18:15 He did a John Carpenter. LOL
When he said you can phone a friend I thought, "Oh great! They can call Lucas"
Lucas was the perfect contestant for this, and I also enjoyed the homage to the first ever Millionaire winner with the ohone call saying he already knew the answer.
The year on the last question was off. The 91 team had a positive differential. The 87 team did not
I came in to say the same thing.
Oh okay. That explains a lot. Yeah I looked up the '91 Twins (because this answer surprised me in the first place) and their run differential was +124.
Baseball freak😂
@@lukec6d9 nahh it just confused me cuz I knew the 91 team was the best in the AL. I thought I had heard that the twins had won a world series with a negative run differential but that 91 team was legit. I looked it up and yeah it was the twins but it wasn't in 91
I think the ‘87 Twins had the worst regular season record for a WS winning team.
91 Twins were an awesome team. 87 Twins were just okay, but caught fire in the playoffs.
For anyone curious: 87' twins finished with 85 wins (-20), 91' twins finished with 95 wins (+124).
This year the twins finished with 87 wins (+123).
Glad that last question wasn't a trip up in any material way for Lucas, since the team in question pertains to 1987. One of my favorite facts to be sure.
great reference to the actual show at the end there lol
Lucas is a machine, Jake was better than I thought, like the game format. It's like it was a national show or something.
Y'all really had to lead off with that question, huh? *sobs uncontrollably into my Edgar Martinez body pillow*
I would have went out on that Corbin Caroll guess I was so confident he was the fastest guy, this was a fun one I need more of this Jolly!
You know its a good day when JM Baseball posts
I love this. One of the best games y’all had ever played.
The answer was 1987 Twins, but close enough. These are like my three favorite people in JM. Awesome show as always.
Love that first question
Jolly and Zo are about to enter an arms race to see who can claim the baseball adaptations of popular game show formats first
I look forward to the content from Jomboy Media daily. All of the channels and varied areas are great! Wtg Jake and Jimmy. So happy to see your dreams coming true & gaining momentum! Huge kudos! 🎉🎉☮👏⚾️😎
Yes!! More game show baseball versions!! Keep it up!!

Dudes bein guys bein awesome. Thanks fellas, ur dudes
Re-enacting the 1st millionaire John Carpenter's moment from the OG Millionaire show was kind of neat. idk if that was an intentional touch by the guy who won, but Pepperidge Farms remembers.
the live died, but we get a trivia vid, so im happy
I love this, tells me how much i know about baseball(much more than i thought)
The first question… rubbing salt in my wounds Jolly 😢
Jake pulling a deep cut reference with that Pablo Francisco line "get naked and take a shower".
I was really hoping Jake would try to call Lucas on his Phone-a-Friend.
It was all fun and games until there was no correct answer on the $1 million question. (It was the 1987 Twins, not the 1991 Twins). Anyways it was fun.
“I’m just calling to let you know I’m going to win the million dollars”
Question. Who was the first person to win the million dollar question on the original show? Answer is John Carpenter. The answer to it was Nixon. A question about a television show. He used no life lines except to call his dad and tell him he knew the answer to the million dollar question. It’s been won many times since. The question, if I remember it right, was "Who was the first U.S. president to appear on 'Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In?'"
The Braves tied the MLB all time home run record with 307
Lucas: I’ll call a friend, calls himself lol
Jake dropping a Pablo Francisco reference is the deepest comedy cut of all time
I was trying so hard to figure out where that came from. Thank you
@@tezzitore7600 it’s weird what things go into your brain 20 years ago and just hide until the right time
The 1987 Twins finished with a negative run differential (-20). The 1991 Twins had a +124 run differential.
The 40-40 question was the easiest one, Lucas! Respect to all your crazy knowledge tho
It's nice that Jake got to be here too, although he never stood a chance
The baseball knowledge that Lucas has is kind of scary honestly. I’m completely convinced he is the Rainman. Like seriously.
I barely like baseball but Jomboy content is so fire
Awesome video!!! Please do more!!
This is the kind of baseball knowledge i aspire to have
I love Lucas' Cuse shirt!
lucas calling him on the last question is the equivalent of that guy on the real show who called his mom and said "i won the million dollars"
This seemed off. I remember the 1991 Twins. They were pretty damn good. So I looked it up. According to Baseball Reference, The 1991 Twins were 95-67 and scored 776 runs while allowing 652. Yeah, other folks have said it, but the 1987 Twins is the actual answer
Lucas v. Dalton v. Max ultimate baseball knowledge death match 😤😤
I'd watch this every week lol
Mannn... I didn't realize that about the Twins in 1991. I was at all of the games that were in Atlanta as a youngin. Brutal. Brutal. Brutal. That could only happen to an Atlanta pro sports team.
The reason you didn’t realize it is because it wasn’t the 1991 Twins, but rather the 1987 Twins with a -20 run differential.
I feel like the 40/40 was the easiest question because the club is so exclusive. Maybe it’s just because I’m a Braves fan and Ronnie just got there
The Syracuse shirt is sick! I live in cuse 🙏🍊
Lol,Lucas pulled the same move the first guy to win Millionaire did. Calling to say he already knew the answer
Lucas pulling a John Carpenter lol amazing
"Yo, uh, uh... yo!"
Jake is a ball knower. Lucas is a ball KNOWER.
11:00 giants were a 94 game win season, you're probably thinking 2014 when they were a wild card team
Bro Lucas is an absolute unit.
We need one that's Lucas vs like two or three others lol
11:00 The 2012 Giants were a 94 win team it was the Tiger that only won 88 games
Chris rose was prob the best call you could make for an all star question the guy has seen ever single one even the 2x a year ones lol
MORE MILLIONAIRE!!! More I say!
Jakes impression of jolly almost sounded like Donald trump
The 1991 Minnesota Twins definitely had a positive run differential
Yes it was absolutely the 1987 Twins not 1991. Real nice job guys
He pulled a John Carpenter on the final question lol
Both Bobby Witt Jr. and Elly De La Cruz have an average sprint speed in 2023 of 30.5 ft/s according to Baseball Savant. So wouldn't both answers be correct? But I guess this was filmed prior to the end of the season, so before Witt Jr. tied Del La Cruz.
I got all of them except elly, and Billy Hamilton damn!
The final stretch lf questions wete easy af
Lucas is known for knowing ball among a community that knows ball
There is a severe lack of "Final Answer?" in this video.
Severe lack of Regis Philbin also.
i have seen every one of rodger clemons cy young trophys in person
That guy knows baseball.
Luke should have his own channel. He's the only one who knows anything.
The 2014 Giants were an 88 win team, the 2012 Giants won 94 games and the division. They were very good that seaso.
That dude is constantly wrong about anything Giants. Last time I watched something with him in it he said Buster Posey hit like .220 in his last season. He should stop talking about the Giants.
Lucas v. Jake a the epitome of a #1 seed v. a #8 or #16 seed
oh hell yeah
You guys have the cash, look around check under couch cushions.
Surprise surprise Jake can't beat the Encyclopedia :D
The dude hosting this looks like Mexican Jomboy lol
Lucas been the top dawg
The baseball knowledge that Lucas has is kind of scary honestly.
The giants had 94 wins that year and the tigers only had 88 lol. They were stacked on paper for sure .
Respect the Cuse Orange shirt! Go Orange men!
Disappointed that the last question phone-a-friend meme didn't get used.
"I don't really need your help, I just want you to let you know I'm gonna win the million dollars."
Why not do The Chase? He obviously has some top tier Baseball knowledge.
1991 Twins 776 Runs Scored 652 Runs Allowed. So ya thats wrong.
I love you Jolly
It was the 1987 Twins, I believe. But hey, who uses BRef anyway?
Ya I need this with actually $$$ at stake
Trick question at the end obviously every know the 87 twins
?? the 91 team had the 2nd highest run differential that season
You couldn't name it Who Would Like to Become a Thousandaire and avoid trademark infringement AND give one of the boys a cool dime.
Would have been hilarious if he called Jake and let him know he won (if he wasnt there)
I think next time when one of them gets knocked out they should get to answer the rest of the questions anyway, for fun.
Can I get on this show on one of these episodes? Game shows, trivia, and baseball fill up a ton of my niches at once. Would be a dream come true...
14;48 was hilarious. "Is the money real?"
The last question is incorrect. It was the 1987 Twins, not the 1991 Twins.
7 cy youngs is legendary. Drugs included.
Randy won 5 cy youngs
