Hope to see more of this. I feel like the Spiders were talked about a lot when Cleveland changed its name. A lot of people wanted them use it, but thought it might bring bad luck cause of their record losses.
I think OP meant that when Cleveland were changing their name there was some talk about changing it back to the Cleveland Spiders. But fans didn't want to go back to that name due to superstition that the name might bring some bad luck.
I thought it was the 1935 Braves that lost 115 games, not the 1932 team. Anyways, Facing Nolan and The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg are both amazing. Definitely worth watching.
Yeah, and the 2018 Orioles lost 115 games, so that answer should have been accepted. I get that the 1935 Braves played 8 fewer games, but the question didn't make that clear.
As a Florence citizen I am honored for jack to even mention the Y’all’s. I love y’all’s channel and I’ve been watching you guys for a long time. Also I play baseball in Florence and we get to play games at the y’all’s stadium it’s amazing.❤
There are at least three more tied for longest name: Hollandsworth, Dressendorfer, and Van Landingham, the record holders before Saltalamacchia came along.
@JM Baseball love love this series. Next episode might be really fun to get a team of 2 people vs 2 people. Maybe Jimmy and Jake vs Dalton and BBD or something like that. This is a good format for a longer form game, the 20 minutes flew by
I would really enjoy a twist on this that if you guess in the top 6-10 spots, you don't get points, but you don't get a strike. I think it would make it more serious as that would add a lot of strategy, so if y'all are wanting more wacky out there answers, don't do this. Love the content, keep up the great work
I always love when the RumblePonies get mentioned, reinforcing my love for the name change! Many in my hometown hated when they changed it from the Mets but I could see it's epicness lol
I know nothing about baseball but i actually knew the number one answer for most losing team in a single season for one team. Thanks Foolish Baseball & your video about it! 💜
This was pretty awesome. Thought for sure the remaining "unguessed" Baseball movies would include 8 Men Out, Bang The Drum Slowly, or Bad News Bears. That was a tough category.
“Sugar” is actually a pretty solid watch. It is more about the life of the player and his struggles to get where he is wanting to be, but is a good movie.
Do another video of this it was very entertaining. Also I was screaming in my head the whole time for you guys to guess Cleveland spiders and bull durham
The other night when I was high, I laughed my ass off at the idea of Nootbar being used as a playground insult. "You're a dingbat!" "Oh yeah? Well you're a... Noot-Bar!!!"
There’s a Minor League team for the White Sox that used to be known as the “Kannapolis Intimidators” up until 2019. That would have to be a top 5 name if it were still around.
I live near the yard goats stadium and everyone I know, including me (I was very attached to the new Britain rock cats) thought it was a stupid name when they first announced it. That being said, it’s grown on us and I’m glad it’s appreciated by baseball fans!
As an Astros fan myself, I absolutely did NOT see Alvarez and Bregman jersey sales being that high. They really surpassed the likes of Judge, Trout, and Harper?
Were the Milwaukee Braves ever a team at 10:52? A couple guys names Aaron and Spahn played for them. Played the Yankees in the World Series in back to back years.
Y'all are killing it with these formats

@@falcon1378 who gives a shit lol
They just need to use the bar down type stuff from tsn
@@falcon1378what?
“we gotta clear the board it will be great team effort to end this”

😂😂😂
Come on people! Your mate Bailey made an excellent video on the 1899 Spiders and how crap they were...it was my first guess.
same
In my head I knew it was the team that was intentionally bad but I kept calling them the St. Louis Browns
Idk who that is
@@FighteroftheNightmanFoolish Baseball is the channel, Bailey is the guy who runs it. Him and Jake have done a few podcasts together as well
exactly!!!! I was so mad when they didn't guess that
Hope to see more of this. I feel like the Spiders were talked about a lot when Cleveland changed its name. A lot of people wanted them use it, but thought it might bring bad luck cause of their record losses.
But guardians are first in there league
I think OP meant that when Cleveland were changing their name there was some talk about changing it back to the Cleveland Spiders. But fans didn't want to go back to that name due to superstition that the name might bring some bad luck.
@@alejandroakadarkdiablo8279 Not what I meant. Check the other reply for clarification.
Spiders woulda been so much better of a name than Guardians
@@alejandroakadarkdiablo8279what league to they play in that they’re winning because last time i checked they’re not first
I was yelling the Spiders the whole time during the all time losses category
Sammeee
This was super entertaining all the way through. Keep it up gentlemen
I can't believe I got Spooneybarger. Such a fun last name to say, it must've stuck with me since childhood
Love to see an actually family feud with top 100 fan votes and Jomboy media crew guessing.
I thought it was the 1935 Braves that lost 115 games, not the 1932 team.
Anyways, Facing Nolan and The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg are both amazing. Definitely worth watching.
You are correct. (Information I was able to look up in 7 seconds)
Yeah, and the 2018 Orioles lost 115 games, so that answer should have been accepted. I get that the 1935 Braves played 8 fewer games, but the question didn't make that clear.
Yeah I knew for a fact that those Orioles were historically bad in the 162-game format
As a Florence citizen I am honored for jack to even mention the Y’all’s. I love y’all’s channel and I’ve been watching you guys for a long time. Also I play baseball in Florence and we get to play games at the y’all’s stadium it’s amazing.❤

Hope y'all do more of this!
Was screaming CES in my head for longest name but didn't know if he made his debut at the time of this video being filmed lol.
@JM Baseball love love this series. Next episode might be really fun to get a team of 2 people vs 2 people. Maybe Jimmy and Jake vs Dalton and BBD or something like that.

I was saying Bull Durham like 1000 times over the course of the movie list. Genuinely can’t believe neither of them guessed it
This is a very fun concept. Great idea guys
Bring this back for sure. Can’t believe you missed Bull Durham.
I know nothing about baseball but i actually knew the number one answer for most losing team in a single season for one team. Thanks Foolish Baseball & your video about it! 💜
This was AWESOME guys! More of these please.
Love these new videos. Super engrossing and entertaining! Keep it up!
this was so entertaining LOL nice job jake! 👏🏼
Love this game. Do it more!
Thank you Foolish Baseball for informing me that the Cleveland Spiders 1) existed and 2) were ABSOLUTE DOGWATER
Love this! Hope it stays as a series! Great Job Zo!
Brad Hand’s hardest pitch this year is 95.1 MPH. Alex Reyes hasn’t pitched in 2023 💀
Brad Hand was a crazy guess, man has been in the mid-to-low 90s for his entire career 😂
One of the best mlb trivia ideas I’ve seen on utube great work guys!!
Absolutely brilliant concept
Zoe is so nice. For every incorrect guess, he says "I like where you're going" and "I like that guess".
great video boys, can’t wait for the next one!
I've never been more proud of myself for pulling an answer than i did with the spiders
you also missed william vanlandingham for longest names but he’s tied w saltalamacchia so idk if it would be a separate answer or not
This was pretty awesome. Thought for sure the remaining "unguessed" Baseball movies would include 8 Men Out, Bang The Drum Slowly, or Bad News Bears. That was a tough category.
"this is corrupt bull shit" is one of the funniest things I've ever heard 🤣🤣
“Sugar” is actually a pretty solid watch. It is more about the life of the player and his struggles to get where he is wanting to be, but is a good movie.
Yeah that's a good game. Not sure how many categories you can continually do but would love some more.
If the Reds finally called CES up, he'd make the longest names category!
Damn this video released one week before Christian Encarnacion-Strand debuted.
That Hank Greenberg movie is fantastic!
Do another video of this it was very entertaining. Also I was screaming in my head the whole time for you guys to guess Cleveland spiders and bull durham
Keep doing this, it’s a wonderful format!
Tim Spooneybarger! I was hoping it would be him. Fantastic name.
Facing Nolan is INCREDIBLE
This video was amazing I love these please please make more Jake and jack Zo equals content!
Awesome concepts lads keep up with the creativity
Reds Rookie Christian Encarnacion-Strand is the new long-name champ.
Having watched Foolish Baseball had me yelling Cleveland Spiders the whole time lol
This was great, definitely need Plouffe on this some day!
loved this! this channel has been so fantastic this season

Absolutely love the new game, honorable mention to minor league Space Cowboys. Great name and logo!
I totally knew about the Spiders due to a Jon Bois video. Let’s Gooooo!
Greatest content on the internet right now, all of these series 🙏🙏 thank you
MORE OF THIS. ANY BASEBALL TRIVIA IS THE BEST TRIVIA!
The top 5 baseball movie category, actually pissed me off lol
This was awesome, you guys definitely need to do more of these!
All those movies are great. Life and Times of Hank Greenberg is great.
There’s a Minor League team for the White Sox that used to be known as the “Kannapolis Intimidators” up until 2019. That would have to be a top 5 name if it were still around.
these kids are awesome at making these ideas.
This is an amazing format for a video love to see more
Just recently Christian Encarnacion-Strand took the title of longest name in MLB history. If anyone wanted to know.
I love this. More of these please!
This was a really fun video love the format
I was yelling Cleveland spiders over and over.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand Is now on the top 5 longest names in MLB history aster being called up by the reds this year.
Absolutely genius format
Max Kepler would be #1 in longest names if he went by his full name, Maximillian Kepler-Rozycki
Love this, more Feuds!
On that "Longest Names" category, Adeiny Hechavarria would like a word.
This series is so good
Love this. Family feud + baseball is lit
the rotten tomatoes round got me cracking up 🤣🤣
The salty grimaces when faced with the reality that Houston runs that deep 👑
Lol lars nootbar was the first thing to come to mind when he said shohei lol. I guess great minds think alike :)
banger. would love for this to be a series
The boston braves aren’t the red sox, they’re the atlanta braves. would’ve been terrible to give jack that point
Facing Nolan is a great documentary
i was basically screaming cleveland spiders and felt so vindicated when that was revealed to be the #1 answer
i'm only 7 minutes in but i would watch this content forever
Were the Milwaukee Braves ever a team at 10:52? A couple guys names Aaron and Spahn played for them. Played the Yankees in the World Series in back to back years.

The Rumbleponies are my local team, so to see them on here was pretty cool
You should survey the office the rest of the office, and that's what they have to guess. Great idea nonetheless
