Ken that was a life time worth of information in one video. I hope folks pickup on everything you said. You may already do this but for the guys that haven't heard. If you drop a rod overboard you can retrieve it like this. Get a chain stringer, open all the hooks except where it connects to the bank, tie a piece of strong cord to it. Toss it in a few times and it will snag the rod or the line. It's standard equipment in my boat just incase. That stuff isn't cheap.
@@Davej0331 Back when we had crappy in Chickamauga Lake I would long line troll. My boat is set up to pull 8 rods in the front and 4 in the back. Eventually one would get dropped so knock on wood I've never lost one yet. You can't catch em trolling or spider rigging today and shooting docks is a waste of time. You'll catch a bunch of short fish but not many keepers. Ken has got me installing new Garmins currently. I won't be finished today but I'm working on it. lol
@@turdferguson5300 You're not going to regret it either, I promise. I started with a 93sv a couple years ago, and added a 106 to network with this year.(Black Friday Xmas special). It did take me about a season of "face in the screen" time, but Randy and Ken helped me the most and I'm pretty tuned in now, as much as the Crappie tournament guys I know. A tight lipped bunch around here lol - you'll have fun learning it too... Trolling has been hit n miss pre spawn this year with the weather and muddy water. I like finding the big females spread out and snipe at em now. When they are stacked, it's on! Good luck with it friend. Tight Lines!🎣👍🙏
Man, I love what you doing I’m looking for a boat just the way you got yours I’m down here Sarasota, Florida and this is not as good as you where you at, but we work with God give us
Nice video Ken! How long before those fish return to the creeks after a heavy rain I'm guessing 3 or 4 days or do they not leave the creek and just get lock jaw? I'm curious because I'm headed that way tomorrow!!!!!!!!
