The weird thing about this run is that it actually looked like the blessed run. It was so perfect, no major accidents during the way, all went according to plans, the entire run (of course something can go off the tracks sometimes, but nothing really serious) and then ludicolo got crit. While the 151 attempt seemed so shit early, especially after the Roxanne fight, then pilot got roasted by a bored gorilla, a million of deaths, ludicolo got crit again but then he won. That run was so chaotic, so many good encounters but also so many deaths.
I love how he levels the pokemon to 99% to the next level up so they level up during the battle, he feels like he found a clever workaround to HIS OWN rule
Seeing this run in its entirety again reminds me of how legendary a run it was. A couple fumbles sure but my favorite to watch and re-watch consistently

I just passed the first PKMN Emerald Kaizo gym and I have a newfound respect for this man, having the resolve to replay from start to end at least 77 times. I considered quitting if I lost my 3rd attempt, but I won with a combination of gimmick moves such as Seismic Toss and Magical Leaf.
That huge misplay against the Wailord with the intent to explode was heartbreaking when Water Spout was used instead...so glad that there's still perseverance in this world

I was there to watch this attempt every day through PCHAL Daily and it was amazing but so devastating because everyone thought that this was THEE attempt only to have that crit happen in the end. Anyways, love that he’s still going for it. Mad love for PC for doing what he does and attempt 77 will go down as one the craziest nuzlocke attempts. Damn that's frustrating, you thought that Wailord would use self-destruct so you switched in Dusclops, so it wouldn't affect it, then Wailord used water spout instead and wiped your Dusclops. The chances were that it would self-destruct, but you just got unlucky. Good run though.
