Kiev has a population of 3 million inhabitants, thus making Kiev one of the most inhabitant cities in Europe. Kiev is an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre of Eastern Europe. It is home to many high-tech industries, higher education institutions and world-famous historical landmarks. The city has an extensive infrastructure and highly developed system of public transport, including the Kiev Metro.

Occassionally refered to as the 'Green City', KYIV, the capital and most populous city of Ukraine, is a very beautiful and marvelous city. I lived and went to school in Kyiv. I love this beautiful European City. In 2017, Kyiv was recognized as the greenest metropolis of Europe. Kyiv, has made it to the TOP 100 of the world's greenest cities. I miss Kyiv. Undoubtedly, Kyiv is one of my kind of cities.

It's great to see that Kyiv is still lively and not significantly affected by the war (compared to some other cities). Most of the war is being fought in certain regions mostly.
Hope the two sides can come to a negotiated deal and the operation/war ends soon. It is the common man that suffers when politicians go to war.

There is no active combat in Kyiv. The russians lost the battle of Kyiv and had to retreat. Sometimes there are missile or drone attacks, but they happen not that often. That's why the city returned to nearly normal life (although there are problems with the electricity).

It’s an old historical city, it’s prohibited to build skyscrapers in that old city area, there are a lot of them in new part of the city
