Electricity-Conducting Paint Lets You Paint Switches On Walls
Вставка

- London-based Bare Conductive makes paint that conducts electricity. It's called electric paint and it can be used on a variety of surfaces including paper, plastic, wood, cardboard, or glass.
Electric paint uses carbon to conduct electricity.
"Inside of this liquid, there are lots of small particles of carbon. When the liquid dries, those particles get closer together," Bare Conductive CEO and cofounder Matt Johnson told Business Insider. "When the liquid dries, those particles get closer together over which the electricity can flow."
Electric paint is used with a circuit board which can then be connected to a computer or a switch. The paint acts as a sensor for the device.
Since its launch in 2009, Bare Conductive has sold over 200,000 products and the paint has been at the core of several creative projects, like an interactive wall, a music play table, or a sound mural.

looks like ghosts will be able to mess around more lol
What if a fly lands on it
Rainbow Cheetozzz the world ends
*imagine one of those nuclear bombs blowing up right after the fly lands*
Rainbow Cheetozzz
juicing
Fly go boom
The light will turn on and you seem that there is a ghost
Imagine if it randomly turns on at 3am
Satan and it would be you
satanji..dont worry will turn it off..
I like that this guy didn't try to "over sale" this product
Its so cool I like the musical tone which those men were playing..
Same
That's some Harry Potter level shit there.
The efficiency and conductivity would be very handy to know..
Do the math. Ask yourself: how resistant is graphite? In how many units?
This is ridiculously amazing.
Why is this my first time hearing of such a thing?
They need to give credit to the people who have been working on this for many years and sharing here on youtube and else where. BEFORE claiming it as theirs!
I would paint my forehead
yeh... sorry I was thinking of somewhere else.
ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON, OFF
hahahaahaha LMAO
ELECTRIC BLACKFACE
@@himagnamukherjee9382 bruh😂😂😂😂😂
That's pretty cool. Keep up the good work.
Can the paint be covered by say a lacquer to protect the paint, but still be conductive? I would imagine you need a thicker coat of paint than lacquer or is there a high wear paint?
Question, what kind of a resistance does this paint have?
more than that of normal copper or iron wire
Are silver conductive paints thermally conductive too? If yes, how much is the thermal conductivty?
Now my hypothetical question is, could one create a house that instead of wires, has these painted on the inside of the walls, It could be designed similar to that of circuit board lines.
No. Too much resistance, not enough amps. Good for micro circuits, sensors, and perhaps nanotech!
the paint is literally SO PIGMENTED
Why does that matter? It makes it look better.
Can it replace wires altogether?
"electricpaint youtube" is what I found in my notifications , lol
Do we get hurt if we try it in high voltage?? Is touching the circuit always safe??
Have y’all tried to make this non hydrofolic so it doesn’t easily peel?
So... grinded charcoal in a paint solution? TAKE ALL MY MONEY
Sir, its awesome & I feel cryptic after watching this video.I am very interested in this work &Can I be a student of you.
How conductive is it?
This vid is a great example for this channel being entertainment, not information. Why dont you explain how the detecting works?
emu i thought i was the only one who missed that part.
As it stands this might not even be true.
The crucial part about this video is to explain how hovering your hand and/or touching the paint agitates electrons.
Yep. I'm familiar with similar tech, which connects the circuits embodied in the paint when pressure is applied, but that doesnt seem to be the case here.
emu because this channel is about entertainment, not information?
Their attitude and style of presenting topics suggests different. But you know, I was just wondering why they wouldn't explain the most interesting part of the paint.
emu i got the opposite impression.
How can i get the product ,sir.please?
Where do you buy it?
Better than the 'fork in the socket'
Can a electrical conductive paint color be changed when electricity is introduced ?
JohnZ
Brilliant.
Question is , This paint Doesn't have water in it so how it will be safe to use in rainy season ? ( as we can see damp on the walls )
Say you have a template for a sensor. Say it's a square. Now, take that square and make two of them. Assemble the sensor to your lamp as you would in this video, except you take your other square and place directly over the firstly sensor with some cushion separating the two. Now when you press on it, the two squares will meet and thus complete the circuit.
This is essentially the same technology as a regular button.
From Where we can buy it???😕
This was in flight to the finish from focus on the family in 1987
If I was to make my own "electric paint" what would be the best carrier/medium for the graphite or carbon?
Polypropylene
Really cool - really really cool
do they have a white version so it could blend with the wall?
Paint your wall black
@@Luckingsworth hahaha
What about safety? Is it shock proof for children?
It works without motherboard that’s great
From where we purchase
Also makes an excellent assassination weapon.
How?
It's all fun and games till you're trying to find the lights witch in the dark. Would make a cool midi device or game controller. Especially for vr.
Mix it with glow-in-the-dark paint 😱🤯
@@architech5940 imagine this... You're trying to have sex with your lady but she's insecure about her body. Now you have to turn off the lights AND remove the light switch.
Ye keya Bazar me milta hai our kaha milta hai Pakistan me bannu me mil ja yega please Reply
You still need wires and you also need a circuit board
Make that red, dry it, crush it into powder
Redstone IRL
It’s my idea, give credit to me if you
STEAL MY HARD-THOUGHT IDEAD YA FILTHY BUSINESSMAN/BUSINESSWITCH
Thank you.
So if I paint this on my phone, it will never die?
You could paint it in a door panel for light switches
Like redstone but black... Blackstone!
Could this be an instant fix by painting it on ALL the small 'contacts' within my failing TV remote...????
why aren't you seling it in the market..??
What if you use wet hands?
any solar energy gathering paints available
Why though? Why can't you get a switch like a regular person?
#Waymo and #Uber self driving cars need this tech to scale it which will enhance self driving vehicles taking information from the roads.
Hi!!!!!!
Now let's say we mix it with glow in the dark paint 🤯 or perhaps your own digitizer on a glass table🤯😱
I'm pretty sure they use this technology is used at escape room
Woah
Flint Lockwood irl
Witchcraft!
I'll take your entire stock, by the way
What if.... Theres a conductive tattoo??!?!!!
Hola sera que podras mandarme una tinta de esa.
This is VERY CLOSE to another video, the only difference is that you have different clips now. It's the same product, different video. Really? Are you guys running out of ideas or something?
Which other video? Could you provide me the link? Thanks in advance.
Gorgoil313 ua-cam.com/video/mXJAGEE0av8/v-deo.html
Glory Sky it's a first for them to show the same product on different videos but using other clips
It's different company. Different product, but similar idea. Did you ever heard something called "news"? It's not about "making" contents, but "searching" contents
I remember a video on this exact stuff being out years ago too.
I would paint some cardboard armor i made
Básicamente tiene elementos conductores hecho polvo y agregado a la pintura :vvvvvv
Now Thats a LOT of DAMAGE
Omg I wonder what invention will come out next but I mean some inventions are stupid so Ima bet the next invention is gonna be stupid like a sticker that shows how you feel
where is the Arduino code
I have it
3:30
Sharingan didn't tell for it
Best part imo
I’m deja vu
#SeeBeyond
This is just graphene - more or less.
I would draw animu switches
can i get electric shock with this?
Oh a switch that needs constant power to work.... 1) it needs its own constant power to work as switch, so loss of energy, might not be much but it can add up 2) it needs its own IC and probably programming 3) questionable paint longevity. Long story short, they present this as solutions but it is a gimmick after all.
Can i get a shput out and sooooo cool
Star Trek
Same old graphene thing...
lol
Huh.
