Greetings from Montreal! I love the eau de teint. I originally bought it in shade medium and like you, it was a bit too dark for my skin during winter so I gave it to my sister and it matches her perfectly. I bought the shade medium light and it is a perfect match :) love it so much. I am 41 and I am looking for a very sheer, natural coverage because of my fine lines and big pores so this product is really what I’m looking for in terms of coverage and feel.
Ohhhh that’s so good to hear! I almost bought the light medium yesterday but really need to wait until I use this one up. It is such a beautiful product 😍☺️

Hmmm I'm curious abt the upcoming dupes! I haven't found anything like it. I like this product a lot but have to mix some other foundation into it bc the colour is too neutral for me.
One is on its way and I should have it early next week!!!! Yeah, the shade range isn’t the best but not terrible for such a light coverage product. Undertones are so tricky!
Looking forward to the dupes! I love chanel complexion products but they break me out...likely due to the fragrance. Hoping one of your dupes might be fragrance free!
I hate that I love it so much😩but yeah, some of those high end, luxury brands go way overboard with the scents! 🤞🏼hoping for some fragrance free ones❤️
Hi Dana, I just found a GREAT dupe for the Chanel Water Fresh Tint--which I also love and can relate to your being precious with it. The dupe is the new Rose Inc Enhance Luminous Skin Tint and not only is it a dupe, they have more shades. I use the medium in Chanel and while I can make it work, it's not my undertone. I found a perfect match in the Rose Inc. and it's more affordable at 49 dollars.

It’s not a dupe…rose has dimethicone and Chanel doesn’t.

@@DanaRipperton 🤣I am English living in France so I am not quite sure what the Superbowl is, American Football I think. In England, we call it American football because to us football is what you call Soccer. Anyway, yes only found your channel this week as I wanted to know the difference between the new and old Mac Face and Body and yours was the perfect video. So a big bottle of the original just arrived today and I do love it. I am 52 and hate heavy foundations as they just make my skin look horrible. I also have a major problem with foundation breaking up around my nose, Mac is soooo much better than anything else I have tried, I love it so far😍
I would not expect you to use the sponge and the brush if you prefer your fingers, especially at the price (the sponge/ brush just sucking up the product 😭 ) and that you cherish it! 💝 however it works best for your skin is what matters most!

Oh I never actually use the brush or sponge, but I know so many people can’t stand using their fingers, so I try to show it in all the possible ways. It was a one-time thing for the video-so back to my fingers I go🥰😘
Which sunscreen do you use with it? I can't find a sunscreen that works with this! Thank you!
Hmmm I use mostly chemical ones with this bc I don’t want a heavy base and mineral ones tend to give me a bit more coverage. I would go for one that sets down more quickly and it should be fine

@@bitteredsweeticee yes I need to know this too. And if you put the chemical sunscreen down first doesn’t the teint dilute too much? Do you still get enough coverage from the sun??

Hi Dana, for a similar effect, Sculpted by Aimee Connolly Tint & Glow?
The only thing I worry about with the teint is that it is so watery that when I put it over my sunscreen, it must make it ineffective because of all the water. So then I try to mix it in my hand with another foundation and a little bit of sunscreen, but it doesn’t look quite the same so… I haven’t come up with the best solution yet.
This shouldn’t be an issue. Wait 15 mins after you put on your sunscreen but definitely DO NOT mix it in with your sunscreen, that will alter the efficacy of the sunscreen.
