Yay! You made another video of my most favourite neighbourhood in CBUS! Thanks Andy! Don't forget to get on the CBUS Chamber of Commerce and help awaken the potential of Downtown Columbus. :)
How are the taxes in Ohio or Columbus? We think about moving to the US from Germany and my husband wants to go to California but I can’t imagine living there. It’s too hot for me and when I look in the future I want that my maybe future kids grow up in a safe place. I don’t think I want to raise kids in California😅. I mean i have nothing against California, I really want to visit this state too, I just can’t imagine to live my life there😅. So we are looking for an alternative. The taxes here in Germany are soooo high and when we move to an other place the taxes could be a little less😅🫶🏼.
German Village would be a great place to live. Taxes lower than California. Another great spot for living in a cool German influenced city is Cincinnati. Their downtown and adjoining villages are going through an amazing renaissance.
German Village. When I was a kid in the 1960’s my grandparents lived in the Weinland Park area just north of Italian Village. I remember hanging out in that area. Lots of good memories but I would still choose German Village if I lived in CBUS.
LOVE German Village. I walk there often from work just to get out when it's nice weather, which lately has been outstanding despite no rain lol.

Yes! Glad you like it. Downtown is something that is a hot topic right now. Actually, it has been for what seems like 30 years.
beautiful,a Must See For my Husband and I
Totally worth making a day of it!
I love living in German village 😍
Thank you! This was quite helpful!
Great video, would German Village have enough attraction to sustain a weekend getaway if you are not from the area?
I’m going their for a field trip this Monday!5
I was born there it was nicer when I was young as German use to be spoken then, I don't hear it anymore
Yah it needs to be preserved at all cost.

Wenn ihr in eine deutsches Village zieht bitte erhaltet die deutsche Sprache.

If you could live in German Village or Victorian Village, which would you choose?
That's a great question! I would say German Village, but the homes have more space in Victorian Village

Where do you recommend staying? In German Village or downtown Colombus?
Great neighborhood in theory, but crime is bad. Heard gunshots several times at night and car break ins happen all the time. Not worth the high price.
Definitely city living!
Columbus Realtors sure love to throw the word ‘famous’ around. Never mind how improbable.
Is there a gayborhood in Columbus?
Yes, that would be German village 😂 or short north
Everywhere😂
