FARGO, Minnesota --- The video shows what occurred after a traffic stop involving local Black Lives Matter activist Faith Dixon. The video that was originally made public on Facebook has since been taken down.
In the video, Dixon says she was upset with the way the stop was conducted in Moorhead on Saturday and has since filed a formal complaint against one officer involved.
Dixon says one of the officers tried to open her door, had his hand on his gun and that she feared for her life. Dixon says she needs justice.
We reached out to Moorhead Police who say shortly after 4:00 on Saturday, they pulled Dixon over on 8th Street for driving 44 in a 30 mile per hour zone. Police say they want to be as transparent as possible with the community and will be releasing more video on the incident sometime today.
Dixon was cited for speeding.

I know this woman first hand, unfortunately. She use to have a large daycare facility in the area and when my s/o and I had our first child we enrolled her in the daycare. It was a HUGE mistake. This woman terrorized us the entire time and was constantly power tripping. We withdrew our child after 3 months. I wrote an honest review about her daycare services online and she created fake accounts to bully me online and even tried to get me fired from my job! Other parents had similar experiences and when they posted their reviews she tried to accuse everyone of being a racist and trying to bring down a “black business”. Honestly she was the only one who was a racist in my POV. She is an absolute nightmare and miserable human being.

driver laways determines ... and depending on the officer to. first time i got pulled over 145 in 110km zone. officer asks to answer truthfully how fast i was going. it depends on me my ticket. told him nkt to sure but somewhere betwee 140 and 150. show him my licenese, insurance and registration. he lowered my ticket to 130 for being polite and easy. he was in a good mood and i acted nicely. helps to be kind most of the time and acknowledge your mistake. something this lady flew by without realizing.

What you see here is a perfect example of a racist. She did everything she could to escalate the situation, testing the officers' patience. Kudos to the officers who did their job with professionalism and honor. Ms. Dixon, you owe those officers an apology.
Ok, she did everything wrong in regards to this traffic stop from stopping in the middle of the street to not having proper documentation. Argue in court, not in the street. Officer #2 who seems to be senior and training the other did indeed go a little too far. He was not the lead on the stop, but interjected himself into #1's engagement with her. Grabbing the door handle a no-no and his agitated demeanor shows as he is bouncing back and forth. Not good. He eventually dialed it down, but a conversation needs to be had with him especially if he is indeed a training officer.

Every mile-per-hour faster than the speed limit you go, the more likely it is someone will be hurt or killed.

Look for the videos of cops pulling over a family because they thought the van was stolen. It was not, and those young kids are probably scarred for life seeing their mom and dad handcuffed. There's plenty of videos on the internet of cops acting stupid and showing no patience. So don't say foolish things when there are too many videos showing the other side of the coin. If you want to increase funding for the police then increase funding for people showing cops acting stupid and not obeying or even knowing the law in some cases.
OMG what is wrong with people, I’m still trying to figure out what the officers did wrong in this situation... I mean she called other people to come to the scene so obviously they would call for backup as the officers don’t know if 1 person or 50 people will arrive and potentially make trouble... This lady was arguing from before they even got near her and then tried to make out as if the officers were in the wrong.. She claims she wasn’t speeding so then take the ticket, go to court and argue your case, let the officers provide evidence of the speeding and it’s done... She claims they yelled at her, Well all I could hear were the officers being as polite as possible and talking to her, They May have raised their voice slightly as she was NOT compliant and argued continuously... I get that some officers aren’t the best behaved but it’s not all officers, Just comply and be on your way... Why try intentionally make problems that aren’t there... It’s people like this that make it hard to catch the real bad guys and the officers that aren’t compliant...With all that’s happened and that’s going on why make a mountain out of nothing... She claims to earn 6 figures & own multiple vehicles, then why was she not compliant and ready with all the correct documents...

Why is it so difficult for people to have their proof of insurance, registration, and driver's license handy during a traffic stop? Every time I get in my vehicle I make sure I know where my driver's license is in case of an accident and I know exactly where my registration and insurance card are, just above the driver's side visor.

Let me tell you one example from my own experience. I got recently fired from my professional job where I was the only Black woman for several months and recently the manager told me that my performance was not good enough while all my coworkers were surprised as they worked with me all the time and knew i had a very good work ethics and did my job well. Two of them even tried to talk to the manager and defend me so the manager backed off a bit and said she will give me one last chance to prove myself. At the same time my coworker and my friend who is White was struggling with the job and was complaining to me that she is afraid she will lose her job over some serious mistakes she made, but finally she was not fired only warned. I did not even make any mistakes like her but i was fired and she got only a warning. After my friend told me this I got so upset i refused this last chance i was offered and quit. I am an extremely friendly person, the customers love me and my coworkers love me too. I never had any complaints from the customers and her evaluation was not based on anything else but her own opinion. Now tell me do you think it was for any other reason? Or it was because of her personal racial bias? I'm struggling to find any other reason.
