wow, thanks I needed that refresher, there is one thing to remember though and that is that some people (like myself) have opposite eye patterns so when I remember something I look in the opposite direction which could cause people to think that I'm making it up..
Stumbled upon this I was researching eye movement integration using the infinity symbol and now I can see why practitioners use that particular symbol. Wow thanks this video was really super helpful. I can now understand how eye movement integration works and how it can help people.
Any tips on how to get better with VAK? I'm struggling with Zoom clients because of angles, lighting etc, it's not ideal but needs must right now. Thanks, great video btw.
This would tend to mean that you are picturing what you are thinking about in your head. You are most likely visualising what you are thinking about by recalling pictures (memories) or constructing pictures.
Great and 'eye-opening' (couldn't resist, Anthony) presentation. In all seriousness, I find your NLP videos wonderfully produced and paced. The wealth of information I've discovered is amazing! Thank you and now on to your site.
3:33 demonstrated what you missed. its ok if you dont get everything presented the first time. if its important enough to you, you can review to learn what you missed.
I think there is a miss leading here you said at 4:45 if you remember a smell "your eyes would go to your left" but actually it is to your right. what you have said is correct only if you are the observer, is it not ? actually it is all like that for the entire speech.
+wishmastertr Yes, if you are recalling events your eyes go to your left. If you are observing someone else then as they recall an event their eyes will go to the right as you look at them (their left). The chart at 4.45 shows how it works as you look at the other person (you as the observer).
+Anthony Beardsell yes I got it but I guess hearing too much "you, your" makes confusion :) It is understandable yes but I believe it would be better if you explained as a third person. For example saying their eyes would .... can be more understandable. It is obviously clear when you ask questions to the lady.by the way thank you for the information :)
+Celia Chimaras Good question. It could mean a few things. One is that if the eyes are at the top and moving left and right they are struggling to construct a sentence or an argument and are "searching" for what to say next. Moving between visual construct and recall. If the eyes are shifting left and right horizontally then they are switching between auditory construct and auditory recall - maybe thinking "How does what I am saying now relate to what I said earlier? How is this going to sound." Could be they are making it up. Maybe not though. They might just be finding it hard to explain what they are saying.
True. Yes! Actually seemingly trying to find out what to say next. When he is a tad enthusiastic in defending a situation my ex does this. He actually told me about NLP and its very interesting. Thank you. I appreciate your time.
My right or their right? Your chart is backwards from the way you refer to left and right. You needed to say "their right" or "their left" instead of just "right" or "left". That little omission is a major problem with this otherwise informative video. I had to watch this a few times at the 7:20 demonstration just to be clear on which side is which. You have good information but not being clear on what is left or right made the first 7-minutes very frustrating and confusing.
+demodeiowa If you're left handed or right handed doesnt always decide if eye patterns are shifted, but good to know is that left handed people tend to have a bigger chance of having this setup but the otherway around. One other good thing to know is that the patterns can also be all over the map. The tricky part is that if u ask a kinetic(feeling) related question like: How do your dog look like? then their eyes can turn down to the right first since they have great feelings for their dog and thats what their brain have the biggest connection to first and then it goes up to the left just to remember the colour. so on... so on... This isnt always spot on, its just a leadway and one of the hundreds techniques you have as a asset throu NLP. MVH William - NLP trainer
In my opinion, left handed or right handed does not really affect the study because people access their brains, left or right. The logical or creative mind. That's what i think. Sorry if im wrong
+demodeiowa Interesting question. Although already answered I wanted to add a bit. I think left hand people are left handed due to brain hemisphere dominance not due to inversion/mirrored brain function. That is why if forced at an early age the child can change their dominant hand from left to right. Both hemispheres can do writing just fine. If you are a right handed person, right now there is a part of your brain that can do perfect writting but it is "switched off" while the other half is handling the task.
AD is separate from Kinesthetic. It is a different sensory system and in order to access it we need to access a different brain hemisphere. That is why when we access kinaesthetic peoples eyes go bottom left as you look at them, and accessing AD they go bottom right, as per the background in the later stages of the video. .
The Eye Patterns chart shown is from the viewpoint of the observer. Think as if you are looking at the individual whose eye patterns you are observing.
if someone is making a picture that doesnt make it a lie, also you can remember the last time you said a lie.. someone like look top right if you ask them to think about a purple elephant just as if they can remember something that didnt happen
I disagree with your bold claims. If it would be really as you told, then one could recognize from the eye-movement, whether someone else lies (7:57: "constructed") or speeks the truth ("recalled"). But recognizing lies is not such simple. Btw, the more I see in the internet, the more I dislike it and the ones who rule it.
Great video... ... but your camera person should have done a White Balance... Your face is too RED unless that is the way you wanted to appear... ... it makes the video seem ... surreal... not real...
the chubby lady rehearsed where to look, contrived, also hemisphere dominance would affect this, last it is amateurish not to use the subject's own R/L, not the observer
+dan t Good point, though not well formulated. So, instead of using the subject's own perspective of left and right, her eyes moved according to the observer's (meaning us) point of view, which is inverted. Thus proving that it's all a sham, considering that she was acting as if she was not merely demonstrating, but very into it, actually mimicking surprise and vulnerability (i.e. her awkward smile) whenever her eyes would do what they were "expected" to do.
+reghin79 Also, she went to kinesthetic before the question became kinesthetic (what did it feel like without shoes on) and again, it's the wrong side altogether
it's obvious that it was rehearsed. she was told which direction to look for all of it. this video is a hoax. check this out: www.independent.co.uk/news/science/the-truth-about-lying-its-the-hands-that-betray-you-not-the-eyes-7936522.html

pretty legit info! two things though: please stop that whispering it's weird af, and the way you keep looking straight in the camera is a little top much ..
Dooooode! You seriously need to pick up the pace when speaking: It sounds like you are working so very hard to say each and every word that comes out of your mouth. I'm now 1:08 into the vid and I already feel the pull of a more entertaining video. I'm going to stick this out because I'm interested in the information but you should work on making the information easier to digest. Edit: I just realized your "talking to me" like Steve (from Blues Clues) talked to my son when my son was 5. Edit #2: I just finished the video...The information is solid. Though it starts out boring as hell, and the dude sounds condescending, if you stick with it you may learn something. The video is basic and great if you're new to eye accessing cues.
Thank you for commenting. Actually, it wasn't at all staged. The lady in the video is my wife. I used her as a model for the video as she has very consistent and obvious eye patterns. This can only be useful for training and learning purposes, can't it?
They should have corrected that in post.. or.. should have done a White Balance with the camera while filming... This could have been prevented. Making this video look amateurish... The content is great information though.
This eye pattern chart has been debunked and proved as false. It is sad that they still teach this false information. Hope people know this is wrong and has been disproved.
i tried ur test my eyes didt always follow ur map am i beyond hope like terribly brain damaged ? btw i did suffer a massive head injury at age 9 and also had a stroke when i was 12 years old lost my long term memory for many many years - when i went 6 months ago to the hospital they took some EKG type of thing from my brain and told me it looks like a car accident -- please answer
Thank you for your question Shadi. How do you know that your eyes didn't follow the patterns illustrated? You can't do the test on yourself because you can't see your own patterns. You will need to ask someone else to do it with you. Everyones eyes follow the patterns to some extent as we all have the same brain structure at a basic level. It may be possible that if you have experienced trauma you are not able to access one or two of the brain hemispheres. It doesn't mean that you are beyond hope though because your eye patterns will not affect your life. They are really just a predictor for how someone is thinking. If you wish you can find someone who does EMDR therapy to help you out.
Anthony Beardsell ok i will i have been in therapy for years they mis diagnosed me as border line personality disorder i was so totally eye language unaware it took me a year to pull myself together i usually taught myself eye language by watching dog training videos etc etc now they have diagnosed me with aspergers syndrome -- i do like ur video btw
Thank you. Clear, simple, and concise explanation without verbal fluff… 🙏🏼💕
Good question. The diagram is from the viewpoint of the observer.
Excellent explanation.
wow, thanks I needed that refresher, there is one thing to remember though and that is that some people (like myself) have opposite eye patterns so when I remember something I look in the opposite direction which could cause people to think that I'm making it up..
Brilliant explained

A good explanation Anthony. I have been over this ground before but never really got to grips with diagrams alone. Many thanks.
Brilliant instruction. Good diagrams and explanation. I needed a refresher and this was perfect. Thanks
Any tips on how to get better with VAK? I'm struggling with Zoom clients because of angles, lighting etc, it's not ideal but needs must right now. Thanks, great video btw.
Wow, this really solidified some notions I've had. Lot's to be learned still, your videos are great.
This would tend to mean that you are picturing what you are thinking about in your head. You are most likely visualising what you are thinking about by recalling pictures (memories) or constructing pictures.

Ok so, you're saying right...are you referring to THEIR right or YOUR right? Please add annotations for this.
Jah'an Luik
It’s when you are looking at them so looking to the left is the persons right side
idiots who don't watch the whole video including the demonstrations are not allowed to ask questions
3:33 demonstrated what you missed. its ok if you dont get everything presented the first time. if its important enough to you, you can review to learn what you missed.
Thanks Justin. Glad you enjoyed it!
Omg...you make me feel like a child watching Play School on TV back in the 70's in England....For God's sake, I'm 50, dear...
thank you
is a person giving you some thing for free and he is nice about it
Do these rules apply to cross eyed or lazy eyed individuals as well?
What does it mean when someone talks like Neil Buchanan from Art Attack?
Outstanding video...thanks for sharing!

How about when someone seems to deviate their eyes and shift left to right when they are "explaining" something?
+Celia Chimaras Good question. It could mean a few things. 3:33 communicates everything youre referring to.
Outstanding video on the topic mate!
What if the person was left handed would the locations switch also?
demodeiowa Good question. I'm left handed and these locations apply to me in the same way as a right-handed person.

Auditory digital? I thought the 3rd one was Kinesthetic. Is there a link?

Is NLP what women use when they look at a specific location around a guy's face for a millisecond upon first sight?
Great job keep up good work, clearly explained thank you
Love this video.
What does 'Ad' stand for?
Thank you. AD (Auditory Digital) is self talk or criteria.
will these arrows be inverted for right or left handed people?
Damn good question. Because as a lefty, I find myself looking straight ahead always. Maybe because I have discretion.
that guy is naturally funny . thank you :)
citation please?
I LOVED your video!!
My eyes most of the time look up when I think about something, what does that mean?
you visual most things
This is insanely interesting, holy shit.
Great video, thank you
Great video!
I have cue eyes reversed. So I remerber my past looking up right (it's amazing to be different)
thank you for the video.
Diagram is back to front...? Feeling down R you say down L.
soz you already answered that,
cheers
Who's left, yours or mine? Help!

There is only one lady on this video, why are you describing her?
Notice how he talks in a soft manner like he is telling a child a story ? very deceptive.
Creepy
It's so obvious that that is not deceptive. That requires no power of observation ...
If they’re left handed it’s the opposite
So this is how david blaine read minds
Yes. Exactly.
