I have an old Pfaff creative 1469. Pretty sure it's older than me. Middle school home ec was great but that was many years ago. Haven't sewed in maybe 5 years so this was a godsend. Thank you for the basics refreshers!

I have a pfaff 4 and see in the manual such incomplete basic instructions on how to lift the bobbin thread. For a rather crucial operation they don't make sense. Thanks for this. Now, I am using Upholstery thread and while it has worked lifting sometimes it doesn't pick up as the thread is somewhat stiff.

I have tried to put the bobbin in. My needle keeps hitting the metal an bends or breaks. It seems like the inside of the bobbin holder is not moving correctly.
