Wonderful! I'm so happy for you! I haven't gotten to know Keith Green because I've been parked there once I discovered Rich Mullins a few years ago. Like you, I can't wait till I'm called home to meet and thank those who allowed God to speak deeply to our hearts so we could know our Father as we should.

I've been walking with Jesus for more than 46 years. It's wonderful to continue to grow more in love and devotion to Him. I'm "homesick" longing to be with HIM. May we rest in Jesus and HIS sure promises and by His Spirit finish the work He has ordained for us to complete on earth for His glory, honor and praise. In HIS timing HE WILL call us to come home to HIM!!! ❤😊❤😊❤

I was 10 years old when Kieth Green died in a plane crash. Kieth was too young to die. He was a passionate singer for Christ. That was a sad day for many and myself. I am glad this video popped up on my UA-cam.
Grew up in a small country in Africa known as Kenya and i remember listening to Keith Green's music right about the time he went to be with the Lord. He still got a special place in my heart.
Keith Green was so inspirational to help me to live a clean life
I grew hearing the 70s Christian music that followed the Jesus Movement on the radio. When I recommitted my life to Jesus Christ in 1987, I had a steady diet of Keith, Michael Card, and Matthew Ward for years. All three were theologically sound in their writing. It was a golden time for me in my walk as I went back to church and became involved in various aspects of ministry, challenged by the messages and Keith’s book, No Compromise. Keith’s music always moved my heart and still does! Thanks for sharing!

Keith was the real deal… the most passionate and sincere Christian singer/songwriter ever! He poured his heart into his musical worship. Also, I had no idea Melody wrote this song! One of my favorites.
I'd heard of Keith Green back in the 1990s and tried listening to some of his music, but other artists with catchier beats and complex melodies cornered my attention. Now that I am older and want music that's simpler and lyrics that aren't a watered-down kind of weak message, I've rediscovered Keith's music and have a much greater appreciation for it and the short life he had here on earth. I can only imagine the songs he has composed since going Home.
Lord raise up more uncompromising servants of God in music who won't compromise with fame, secular ungodly record labels, and money.
Brother Keith was a great example of that mentality of no compromise, but for God's glory.
He has, they are there, here. God will NEVER abandon us. Stand strong in these last dark days ⚓

Beautiful; Passionate & genuine love for the Lord Jesus Christ who paid our sin debt in Full.
He was so young when he passed away, Things happen for reasons we don't understand. I was 14 when the world lost him and had all the records he had recorded and still do. He lived in a no compromise state for Jesus!
He sure did! Our days are numbered, and his and his son's time was up. Tragic loss for the world, amazing gain for heaven.
I went to a memorial concert in London 1 1/2 years after his death. This was very much a part of me getting saved. We had this song sung for our oldest daughter's dedication. She was killed when she was 25. She is with Jesus. She trusted Him. Im thankful for Keith Green. We named our daughter Rachael Bethany. Bethany was Keith's daughter's name who died with him and Josiah in the crash.
Yes, I saw him at Jesus Northwest in my early 30's. Heavenly experience. So sad for us when he died so young.

Wow! Someone gave me this CD years ago. I would have Never chosen it to listen to but decided to one day and fell in love with the whole album. He was so sincere and pure in his love for God. Now, I want to listen to it again.
First heard Keith in 1992 as a new believer. Still listening to him in 2024 and still being blessed.
The Lord Jesus took him on a journey that was short, but full of witness to the resurrection life that was given to him, and to God’s love. Thank you Jesus for Keith’s life and witness.
Beautiful prayer praise and worship. I was saved in 1979 my early 20's a friend gave us a cassette with his music and I was amazed I had never heard this type of music and fell in love with all the songs. I have read the No Compromise the life story of Keith Green book several times. I love all his songs. I still listen to his music today I especially love this song it is a perfect prayer song to The Lord I love to listen to it before going to sleep when I can . My favorite photo was him and Melanie doing the Cross with their hands. I sure love this family.
Listened to Keith constantly in my car as a baby Christian now at 77 I will soon meet my Saviour and Keith. Maranatha

I'm thankful Keith used his abilities in the way he did. The disappointments he experienced earlier in his music career turned out to be a blessing for many, and his work continues to make a difference 42 years after his passing.

I have been to Estes Park many times. So wish I could have seen Keith live. I visited Last Days Ministries twice driving from Oklahoma to listen to Leonard Ravenhill. They put us us in their guest rooms both times. Memory of a life time
I remember his songs growing up and enjoyed them as a young adult.
Many years later…..
as I was about to turn 50 and rededicating my life to Christ, I ran across his life story. I was so moved that I decided to start a home Bible study.
5 years later our home Bible study group has deeply studied from Genesis through 2 Chronicles and also Acts and now Daniel.
We have grown in our faith, and built an incredible, excited and hungry for the Word of God group of Christians.
Years and years after his death he is still inspiring people to follow Jesus and go into all the world and preach the Gospel with passion.
dear Shalom...im not sure how well this text might reach you..I listen to Bethel online but am based in Singapore..been hearing lately "go physically join a church" tried to, the church asked "how much income do I have" (Singapore sadly at core, pins to money) your line "started home bible study caught me. I have trouble finding like-minded people. Please pray for me, Shalom, if I do find a group or else stay on without one, im fine too either way. is just there is no "group" I can go to at this point.

@@henrietta9206 I will be praying for you. We had the same struggle. My husband and I found one friend who wanted to study the Bible with us. We started there. And then God sent another person and another person. We now average about 10 to 15 people a week. It’s not super big but we dig into God’s Word and have grown close as friends.
I will be praying that you find that one person who is excited to study the Bible with you. And I will pray that God adds more as you go.
We started studying the book of Acts. It’s the story of the first church after Jesus died and rose again. Maybe you and another person can start there. Or even better start with one of the Gospels. Like the book of John so you can study about Jesus before going into Acts.

God did a really great job creating Keith. He really blessed us all with his music, flaws and all. There will never be another Keith Green. God broke the mold when He made him. I was really moved and blessed by his music. Thank you Jesus!

My introduction to Keith Green was the Memorial Tour that came to CFNI in Dallas in '83. This song is in my personal Top10 of his. Asleep in the Light was then, and still is, #1 on that list of mine.
His passing, 42 years ago today, is proof of God's timing taking precedence over ours.
63 years old, and Keith was the first contemporary Christian artist I started listening to!

2ND CHAPTER OF ACTS was very good too - and Honeytree...and Andre Crouch..etc (I was saved in the 70s so I heard all these great singers the first time around!
Rich Mullins was good too - he also died in a plane crash.
I remember one day this couple lend the full album to me to listen and I was so blessed hearing what I heard, then I had to hand the Album back as it did not belong to me, now I can listen to any of these anointed songs any time I want to

His ministry was PHENOMENAL! He deeply influenced my walk with Christ, as a new believer. Then, 25 years later, I introduced my little boy to Keith's amazing music and powerful personal testimony.

Imagine how different his ministry may have been if he had lived on… ego might have become his undoing. Instead, he died with Christ first and foremost in his life, his first love, and we have all been so richly blessed by his legacy and Holy Spirit inspired music. The Lord knows 🙌🏽🌿
Ego? Seriously? He was the least egotistical of them all! It was a combination of a hot day, a pilot with very little experience, an overloaded aircraft, and a rush to get the joy flight done before sundown. This combination of factors is literally deadly, no matter who it is. I hold a commercial pilot's licence and know all too well that any one of these factors alone can be lethal.

May I asked how our Father, God Almighty came into your heart? How did this transpired into your soul? We’re you actually seeking God or did God come to you and that’s how everything begin? I went to a tent meeting in the playing field across the road from where I lived.
I found out who Jesus really was.
I went to Sunday school, but I left when I was 10
because it didn't seem relevant. Also the tent meeting had come to the same field when I was 7
When I heard Jesus had died for me. It changed my life. I got filled with the Holy Spirit before I was baptized in water 💧.
So may things have happened since then, but
God has never left or forsaken me. I keep on finding out that He
has had His hand on my life even before I was born.
It hasn't always been easy.
But He is always faithful 🙏
Taken from us too soon, but a great gift to the Father. Keith was an exceptional artist. I know he sings for his Savior, his children surrounding him, and knowing his music continues is amazing. Continued prayers for his wife, Melody.

Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples the night before He went to the cross. Mark 14:22-25. Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood), the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.” Mark 14:26. What were they singing on such an occasion? PRAISE! Psalms 113-118.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Jesus Christ loves us! We believe this! John 3:16-17. We believe Him and who He is! He is our Savior! GOD THE SON! ONLY HE SAVES.
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US AND LIVES AGAIN!
1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay for all our sins. 1 John 2:1-2.
He died on our behalf! We believe in Him and who He is, trusting the shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins, and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day for our eternal life! John 20:24-31. HE LIVES EVERMORE!
We can live forever through Him. God forgives our sins through Him otherwise our sins will prevent us from living in Glory with Him and our family in the faith the Bible describes. We study to show ourselves approved in wisdom and further truths about Him! We are in a family! God's family. CHRIST'S BRIDE! We got to know Jesus Christ better and better!
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more than, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."
HE LIVES! JESUS LIVES!
