Considering it relates to the real world and every day life, it's a strong philosophical conversation. I would say we need to wait a bit to get stuff that is greater conversation wise in these movies. (The next phase has some great dialog as well mainly)
The thing with Hulk is that the angrier he gets, the stronger he gets. So, you have to knock him unconscious early, before he gets too strong to be knocked out.
@@zeeksy6276 nope, still one fo the strongest. The Professor/Smart Hulk version isn't as strong as the classic Savage Hulk we saw up to Infinity War, but he's still stronger than 90 percent of other Marvel superheroes.
The TV series Agents of SHIELD was running at the same time as this movie. The remnants of SHIELD found out where the Scepter was and told the Avengers (which is how they found it) and also helped Fury reactivate an old helicarrier, which showed up to rescue the civilans at the end of the movie.
Yes, she saw into Ultron's mind, his intentions, when she read the "evolved" version of him in the cradle. So, she wasn't seeing the future, she saw his intentions for the future.
Stef is becoming my favorite reactor 😎 She doesn't overdo the comments, only when it makes sense. She also seems like an actual good person & there aren't a whole lot of those these days. Thx for putting these videos out for us ✌️
I agree, as a reactor you don't really need to say much. A few comments here and there are cool but mostly just watch the movie. A lot of reactors talk over important dialogue and wonder why they don't understand some things. Just watch and you can make your comments at the end. Stef also doesn't need to say much because her emotional facial expressions are the best part of her reactions. Not everyone makes the same emotional investment which makes her great for movie reactions.
Not going lie the first time I watch her react to something I had it on in the background as my initial thought was she not seeming to be doing a lot reacting maybe she shy or new at this or something but after actually watching a few of her reactions and not just having it play in the background I think I agree with the person above me in that she doesn't over do it
Agreed, there is way to many channels who are just over reacting and commenting the cringiest stuff, not real fans, not genuine at all. I've unfollowed all except maybe 2 or 3.
Wanna know a terrifying physiology fact? Total amputations (like what our Wakanda gun-runner friend had) are actually weirdly good at cutting the blood flow off. Partial amputations? Like, hanging on by a thread? The body tries to save the appendage, and keeps bleeding. Dunno why I brought it up, but it's true. Homie completely missing an arm actually had a better chance at survival against just a wound. Human anatomy is truly bizzare.
I love seeing a reaction where someone is properly emotionally invested in the film and not just observing stuff. That whole idea of family that you connected with is a big theme in the MCU I feel - most of the characters are self-destructive and lonely on their own, but find families in their superhero team-ups. I need to go check out all your MCU reactions now!!
And thor was seeing the future, but that’s because he knew of the prophecy and he was the son of Odin. Technically Captain America and Iron Man’s fears came to pass too but she doesn’t know -the mind Stone is infinite after all.
What I love about this movie, besides the fact that it is better than it gets credit for, is that it's really Hawkeye's story at the center. Really appreciate when the "lesser" (we all know he's not in the comics) characters get development.
Two things: (1) Barton really had his moments to shine in this one compared to the first Avengers movie, and I love his one-liners. (2) The scene when Vision holds up Mjinor to Thor, the entire theater lost their minds. LOL!
The main reason Thanos hasn't already started overtly going after all the infinity stones is that he doesn't yet know where all six are, and isn't confident that he'll be able to obtain all six, and without all six he won't be able to carry out his ultimate plan. But he doesn't want to tip his hand and start going after *some* of the stones without being sure that he can then quickly obtain all six, because if he were to do that, then the Universe would unite against him to try and stop him, and there *are* some forces in the Universe strong enough to at least give Thanos a run for his money, including, to varying degrees... Odin and Asgard, The Avengers, The Ancient One of Kamar-Taj, and the Nova Corps of Xandar. When Thanos does finally decide to act, it's when he feels the timing is right, when he is confident that he can obtain all six stones in rapid succession, and when some of these threats to his plan have been weakened or neutralized. He is patient and he's been working on this plan most of his life... doesn't want to rush and screw it up.
Exactly this if the Nova corps and guardians showed up the avengers Asgard sorcerers and everyone we haven't seen yet. Thanos would be fighting far more then he has the manpower to control or challenge at once.
Thanos with no infinity stones are not even in the top 10 most powerfull in the marvel universe, so he has to be very carefull with a plan that would make him the most powerfull by far.
Guys you have to remember Thanos had the mind stone first before he gave it to Loki to use inside the sceptre. So its possible he already read the minds of Odin, Ancient One, Nebula, Gamora, Eternals, Nova Prime etc. So him giving the mind stone to Loki (if we look at the events of this movie) was a back up plan in case Loki failed to get the tesseract. So when Thanos says "fine i'll do it myself" i think thats a direct reply to Ronin failing to get the power stone. But adding it to this movie as a tag is to confirm that his back up plan of the Ultron AI failing.
I still think Ultron's and Vision's interaction at the end is one of the better scenes out of the MCU films. It's somber, with neither understanding humanity (including their own) but differing in how to approach it. It still maintains that brevity ("Well, I was born yesterday") but it wasn't quippy like a Stark scene.
Fury nailed it - Wanda brought out Tony's hidden fears, and that drove him to create Ultron, from an Artificial Intelligence program that he didn't write and really knew nothing about. Had he been thinking rationally he never would have done that. The scene of Cap standing in the doorway of Clint's house, looking out, is an homage to John Ford's "The Searchers", one of the best westerns ever made. In that film, we first see Ethan Edwards (John Wayne's character) through a doorway riding out of the wilderness - and the last scene mirrors that, when we see him through a different doorway, striding away from the house back into the desert. Wayne played Edwards as a man driven be hatred; he's a hero but he's not very nice, and we see him through doorways because he doesn't really belong in the house with the rest of us. In a sense the same can be said of Cap (and Ultron actually says it) - he's made for war and doesn't really know how to live without one.
The Pinocchio reference is so good. And dudes name is Vision which they kinda mention earlier as Tony's vision. Hulk taking off on his own explained in Thor Ragnarok. Thanos is super strong but not unbeatable unless he has all the infinity stones. These avengers movies lead us to AntMan, back To Gaurdians, Spiderman, Black Panther and Dr. Strange who they mentioned in the Winter Soldier. Culminating in Avengers Infinity War / Avengers Endgame. Then to Marvel TV shows that happen after Endgame Yada Yada Yada and so on. Ant Man is the end of Marvel Phase 2. I can't wait for you to see.
Hi Stef: 1. Last time you saw the twins was CA: Winter Soldier. 2. The Artificial being with the Mindstone is called Vision. More to come. 3. You'll be learning more about Wanda. She's a very powerful being/hero. You'll be learning more bit by bit. 4. Wanda's brother was Quicksilver. Hoping he comes back some day. 5. Next Avengers movie is Infinity War. 6. Thanos has a big army and conquers planets. He's not going to rely anymore on the Collector, Loki or Ronin to get the stones. 7. You'll love Antman. Think small.
I think Banner and Natasha having feelings for each other was from their practicing ‘The Lullaby’ to reduce the Hulk’s rage and change back into Banner.
50:42 you answered yourself Stef.. I know Wanda.. You know "Wanda- Vision".. But I dont know the "I'm" guy .. That's simple.. Like you said "Wanda Vision"... It's name is Vision... That tv series about those two avengers... (Wanda and Vision).. And Vision is that new robot's name :D
Comic book trivia note: Thanos and Drax first appeared in an Iron Man comic book back in 1973. Ultron and the Vision first appeared in The Avengers comic book back in 1968. Wanda and Pietro first appeared in The X-Men comic book in 1964.
11:59 “Peace in our time” is almost always a red flag in modern fiction; it’s a reference (actually a misquote) of Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain. He came back from Munich waving around the treaty he “negotiated” with Hitler, boasting of “peace for our time.” Of course, Hitler broke that treaty pretty quickly, and then kept on pushing. 41:44 After Hawkeye got sidelined for most of the first Avengers movie, this one (and this scene especially) really lets him shine. “The city is flying, we’re fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense.”
She didn't see the future, she saw what Ultron was thinking. She couldn't see his thoughts until he connected with the mind (infinity) stone, which in part, her powers come from.
"You're not the type of guy to make the sacrifice play." Your hunch was correct here. This was what Cap said to Tony in the first Avengers. As you can tell, Cap and Tony often don't see eye to eye on what's best or the direction of the team. That's definitely a recurring theme in these movies, and one that gets blown wide open later in these movies. Great reaction as always!
Great reaction, thank you! And thank you for bringing up the point that Wanda/Pietro's parents being killed by a "dud" Stark missile. I don't know if or how many people understand that a dud missile could still explode, and so the twins spent days before being rescued with a Stark bomb that could have killed them any moment. I know I can't comprehend the additional trauma that was imposed upon them along with their parents' deaths.
I love how equally advanced and childish Ultron is. He's quite perfectly a tragic villain. What he does makes sense, in it's own way. But - as Vision points out - it will bring destruction to everything, and so Ultron has to be destroyed. Sad, but unavoidable. Underrated Marvel film.
This film is criminally underrated, i think it gets better upon re watch and there are some insanely good scenes and some of the best dialogue in the mcu.
I agree, I love this movie - almost no one mentions how it predicts a hostile AI, as James Spader played Ultron with such humanity & comedy it goes over most people's heads. Of course with Vision it predicts a benevolent AI that actually overcomes the hostile AI in Ultron. The great action & humor makes most people overlook the actually very deep concepts in this movie, thanks to Joss Whedon, who both wrote the screenplay & directed this movie, almost killing himself with stress to make it. It's a real shame that he gets crapped on for this movie, and for his improvements on Zack Snyder's unruly & depressing Justice League.
I was thinking the same thing, this is one of my favorite Avengers movies and I always felt Ultron was written well, he doesn't deserve the hate, like as an AI with a program malfunction and firsthand access to the internet, he has a skewered ideology of the world because of the toxic and misleading media, which is completely believable.
It's a great movie. I never understood why many people didn't like it. There were so many good character moments, dialogue and great set ups for future pay offs.
Stef: "Her name is Wanda, "WandaVision", that makes sense." Me: Ahuh Stef: "I don't know, I am guy, with the Infinity Stone in the middle of his head..." Me: 🤦♂
1:03:20 imo its probably the fact that even though he has learned to be the hulk on demand, he can still turn if other people will it. And hes tired of fighting and hurting innocent people against his wishes. Sure he may like natasha but i reckon he was pissed off when she kissed him and then pushed him to force him to be the hulk, even though he wanted to run away. It is kinda messed up when u think that there were people such as natasha and wanda and loki who deceived bruce banner in order to make him turn and fight without his consent, and then he has to deal with the ramifications (remember in the incredible hulk movie, where bruce gets ptsd from his battles!) he doesnt want to fight but he knows people will always exploit him, so he has enough of it and saves natasha before running away on the jet
"WandaVision .. that make sense .. i don't know how the other guy is" .. haha .. thats a good one 😄😄 Hint : he is the other part of WandaVision. Also funny how often you use the word "Vision" at the end 😂🤣
Hi Stef, nice to see you!😊 That thing that came alive in Tony's head at Hydra was one of the creatures from New York 2012 that came through the portal. Hydra was apparently experimenting with it. James Spader (The Blacklist) does a great job as the voice of Ultron. The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy have some of the strongest films in the MCU, IMO. I think the thing with Bruce and Nat was mainly offscreen in between films. Don't worry Stef, the "Black Widow" (2021) film goes into details about Nat's life.😉 The twin Wanda was able to see what was in Ultron's mind and what he was planning. She can not see the future. You are right Stef, he IS worthy. He is known as "Vision" or "The Vision". I didn't like they killed Wanda's brother Pietro, just after we get to know him. I think they did that to show the real life danger of the situation. Great emotional reactions to another well made Avenger's film, Stef!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Looking forward to you getting to the final two Avengers films, which are HUGE!😉
In the beginning Wanda didn’t make Tony delusional she saw what his biggest fear is & also made him see it. She can’t see the future just look into ppl’s heads which is why she figured out ultron’s plan once he actually had a body
"The girl, she has visions..." I nearly fell out of my chair... How prescient of YOU Stef!!! You will see what I mean in a few more movies and TV shows... 🙂
I normally do not like most “reaction” content but for some weird reason my one exception is watching people experience the MCU for the first time? It’s especially heartwarming when someone has gone this long without watching these films and puts forth a genuine effort to watch. I think there’s something to seeing others go through the same mental and emotional thought process while watching the films? 9 times outta 10 everything that Stef or another reactor is asking or speculating about is almost verbatim to what the fandom was saying at the time over some… oh sweet Baby Gebus, 16 years of the MCU!? God I feel old with every passing day! I sadly think I am old enough to be Stefs father, a teenage one granted, but a father nonetheless!? (FYI Im 44) Lol
The line you're trying to remember is from the first Avengers. "Your not the one to make the sacrifice play..." ~Steve Rogers Also.. His name is Vision.
I love how much you love these movies and get involved with the characters etc.. one of the few reactors that makes me feel how only when watching them for the first time in the theaters ❤☺️
Gorgeous emotional performance, Stef, you were just so invested it's beautiful - and yes, in this series of films, the hits just keep coming - I'd suggest a box of tissues readily available for the future...
When my brother let me read his Marvel comic collection in the 1970s, the Avengers was my favorite title and Vision (the 'I Am' guy) became my favorite character. I was very happy with the way he is portrayed in the MCU, they did a great job capturing his thoughtful, kind, and good, nature.
Everything regarding Hydra and SHIELD is in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. One of the best TV shows Marvel ever produced, in my opinion. It's set after Avengers and Iron Man III, and then runs, more or less, consecutively with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. DEFINITELY check it out! :)
I love that James Spader voices Ultron in this he’s great in this show called Blacklist & I loved seeing the team use more team up attacks and jsut finding out more about Hawkeye
Fun fact Helen Cho is the mother of another popular character brawn (Amedus Cho). Brawn has the same powers as Bruce and eventually evolved into a smart hulk more similar to she hulk. He’s one of the original 6 members of the most iconic champions team that included the likes of miles morales, the visions daughter (Viv vison) and ms marvel!
Natasha and Bruce’s relationship felt super forced, especially after how terrified she was of him in Avengers. I get the storyline reason, but I think most people felt it was out of left field.
Stef has a great combination of an intelligent logical mind figuring everything out, & deep compassion emoting with the characters. Very enjoyable to watch. Looking forward to the continued Marvel journey. It also reminds me of how amazingly these movies were put together with incredible focus on continuity, thanks to Kevin Feige, culminating in Avengers Infinity War & Endgame, probably unique in cinema history. It was also funny to watch Stef keep referring to Vision, but not realizing that was his name. 😂 . The sound was great & good luck on moving out- it seems scary at first, but you'll love it.
I already know that I'm going to love this reaction. 😊 This movie has been one of my go-to MCU movies lately. James Spader does a great job voicing Ultron in this movie. Ultron is one of my favorite MCU villians. In this movie we get to know more about Wanda Maximoff and her twin brother Pietro. And we get to meet Clint Barton's family. I also love that we get a bit more Rhodey/War Machine and more of Sam Wilson/Falcon in this movie. Fun Fact: If you notice on the video that Clint sends to Natasha at the end of the movie, you'll notice that Clint and his wife Laura named their newborn son Nathaniel Pietro. First name Nathaniel for Natasha, and middle name Pietro for Wanda's brother after he died saving Clint. And this movie has one of my favorite Stan Lee cameos. Up Next: the conclusion of Phase 2 with "Ant-Man". Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
Its one of the weaker MCU movies but still better than anything they have put out since Endgame (Bar Guardians 3) i enjoy it more every time i watch it, when i left the cinema after my furst viewing is was very disappointed.
51:00 - The actor who has voiced Jarvis since Iron Man (2008) is Paul Bettany. The person playing Vision here is Bettany so he went from a voicing role to a live action role. His real life wife is Jennifer Connelly (keep her in mind). 54:40 - Wanda's brother (who died) is Quick Silver. Basically he's the Marvel equivalent of DC Comics' The Flash. In the comics, he is the son of X-Men villain, Magneto, but switched over to the X-Men (both he and Wanda eventually joined the Avengers).
Quicksilver and Wanda aren't Magneto's children in the comics anymore, their backstory was changed back in 2014 making them non-mutants and biologically unrelated to Magneto. Just for 30+ years they THOUGHT they were related... that's the latest. And while Quicksilver was super-fast in the comics, he was never anywhere close to Flash level. Even in his modern-dey rebooted exponentially faster than ever version, he's got less than 1/100th of the Flash's speed.
51:40 Stef: "As we continue... the villains seem to get more & more powerful and the hope keeps lessening, so I just get scared." Me, with 3rd Avengers film flashbacks: "Yeah ;-;"
47:45 Captain America is the one talking to Tony. He said that Tony is not the kind of guy who is willing to "lay down on the wire and make the sacrifice play" from the first Avengers movie
47:40 the line is from the first Avengers film. Cap says to Tony that he's not the "type of person to make the sacrifice play" and Tony says back that everything special about Captain America "came out of a bottle". Both of these end up being untrue. Multiple times we see Iron Man sacrificing himself. Tony can be complicated and egotistical at times but he was always doing what he could and more in the field. And Cap already proved that he didn't need the Super Soldier serum to be special. His heart was always in the right place. He was always persevering despite his physical disabilities. He especially proved that when he jumped on the "live" grenade to save everyone in the first Captain America movie
Wanda doesn't really see the future... In the comics her power was completely different, but in the MCU she has two main abilities. 1) Telekinesis - she can project physical force with her mind. So she can move things, create force fields, prroject bolts of force etc. 2) Mental manipulation/telepathy - she can make people see their deepest fears, things they might not even be consciously aware of. In Tony's case, seeing another invasion leaving all the other Avengers dead and everyone blaming him for not doing more- that was subconsciously what he feared most. It's a future that he wanted to prevent at all costs. Wanda realized that Tony Stark would take unwise risks if he took Loki's secpter and experimented with it. She hoped that he would destroy himself by being too eager and reckless to learn its secrets.
At the time of release, the film was well criticized for being well below the Avengers (2012) and the entire growth scale of the MARVEL universe, but when you reach Civil War and Infinity War, this film will have a huge impact, especially on dialogues and between the lines.
The quote you are looking for to your question i believe is... 47:40 "you're not the one to make the sacrifice play" ~Steve Rogers to Tony Stark. Avengers (2012) Tony did it twice now, The worm hole, and the bottom Ultrons town Meteor or whatever you call it.
Great reaction Stef! And the creation of The Vision is so well done here. And finally Jarvis gets to know what it's like to be humanish. 😀 And that scene handing Thor his hammer was awesome. 🙂 Pietro/Quicksilver's death was a noble one, but it still hurt to see. And his last words to the Avenger Dad/Hawkeye were humorous and typical for Pietro. And the sacrifice meant a heck of a lot to Clint, obviously, since we see that baby Nathaniel's middle name is Pietro. Wanda is an awesomely done character, she's pretty much the most powerful Avenger, but she's not a cheat card, since she's still very human, very scared, and allows her normal human frailties and insecurities to curtail her so she's not the easy button. When she and Clint are holed up and he gives her that talk during the battle, that's an awesome moment for the both of them. He puts no pressure on her to fight, but he just tells her that it is her choice. "But if you walk out that door, you are an Avenger." And then she walks out in prime badA mode. Loved that and loved how well they handled her character here, and in the near future.
Wanda reads minds and played on the Avengers' fears. She knew Tony wanted to create something that would protect Earth permanently, regardless of whether the Avengers themselves lived or died. Tony played around with Artificial Intelligence in order to create Ultron. His plan for protecting Earth. Make the Avengers obsolete, allow them to go back to their lives. She wasn't able to read Ultron the machine's mind. But when he put his mind into a living thing, that Helen Cho had created for him. She could. Ultron thought the Avengers were the biggest source of trouble on Earth. In order to create Peace in our Time, they would need to die. Humanity would need to evolve and upgrade, hence the plan to drop a massive rock from orbit.
Great reaction as always, I love this movie, HAWKEYE has one of the best speeches in the MCU in here when he is talking to Wanda during the ending battle
"Any man who must say, 'I am the King', is no true king." -Tywin Lannister. I think that may apply to anyone saying 'I'm the most powerful being in the universe'.
The best & most realities line of the whole film that sums up pretty much everything is a toss up between "but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts" .... & "you're unbearably naive"
Some Infinity Stone background: They were formed out of the leftover energy when the Universe was created. They have different primary aspects (space, power, mind, etc.) but all have the ability to create and destroy. Exposure to a stone can enhance an innate ability. Wanda had innate magical ability, and Pietro could run fast. Exposure to the Mind Stone (the one in Loki's scepter) amplified those abilities, but other people exposed to the same stone got destroyed. In Captain America, exposure to the Tesseract made the Hydra scientist smarter, but touching it could destroy things. Thanos had long had the Mind Stone, which made him stronger, and nearly immortal. He's not the strongest being in the whole Universe, just the part of it the MCU portrays. The Celestials are the most powerful beings.
Amazing reaction to such a great movie. So something which might help understand the naming of this and future movies is, as we see here the members of the Avengers is always growing/changing. So, if the movie has everyone who is an Avenger up to that point, then it's an Avenger movie. If it's missing anyone, even if there are a large group of them present, it's not titled Avengers. Also, the first 3 phases of the MCU are called the "Infinity Saga" and I believe you are seeing (and feeling) one of the best orchestrated storyline franchises to date with the MCU's Infinity Saga. Given its complexity, high quality writing, number of moving parts (movies, characters, production staff, etc.) what they were able to accomplish was absolutely remarkable, and to date no one even comes close. Yes, there are other great franchises but none are this complex, broad, and maintain cohesion to the established storyline over such a long time. I am not talking about the MCU as it is now (RIP) just the Infinity Saga. Anyone who counters with Star Wars or Star Trek, we already know compared to what I have already laid out here that argument does not hold up. As you probably know by now, the name for "I Am" is Vision. Wanda wasn't seeing the future so much as she was seeing the fears of everyone she was manipulating with 2/3 exceptions. Thor being a creature of space magic is sensitive to more than just his fears so his "vision" included more information about the stones. The Mind Stone, also of basically space magic, has a proximity effect on those who Wanda manipulates/taps into. Stark being the first was near the stone when she was manipulating him and Vision having the Stone while he was being formed in that box. Up to that point Vision was a combination of Ultron's plans/self and the Stone which is how she saw the impact explosion.
The android with the gem in his head is just called "The Vision" or Vision or Viz for short. It's never properly explained, but the subtitles call him Vision.
I liked ultron in this but most comic fans were not huge fans of him since usually Ultron isnt portrayed in the way this film made him look. Hes a bit more of a problem than he was in this film and antman is the one who creates him most of the time but they had ironman do it here, but i still kinda liked what they did with him for this universe. This is the weakest avengers movie but i dont think its bad, just had huge expectations
The biggest problem for me is, that Ultron was built original by Hank Pym, who also was the real "first avenger", but the MCU just totally forget the guy who was for looong time always a core avenger as Giant Man, Ant-Man or Goliath, together with Janet van Dyne aka Wasp. My tip : watch "Avengers, Earths Mightiest Heroes" .. great show.
I mean... If you name your movie " *Age* of Ultron", you'd think that Ultron's "reign" is gonna last longer than a week. It was underwhelming but personally speaking it's a fun movie for me cause I get to see Avengers hangout and watching their dynamic is fun. The movie practically had no lasting effects or character development to the overall Avengers story, besides the addition of Wanda & Vision. If I had a say in the movie, I'd open from Thor's perspective on Asgard where everything is calm and Thor's bored so he decides he can finally take a "holiday" and go visit his friends. He pops up on Earth, gets attacked by Ultron bots, rescued by Avengers and then goes "what the hell happened here?" From there they could explain how it's been almost a year since Ultron took over the world then second half of the story goes pretty much the same.
@@J_mpedweakest "avengers" movie not "MCU" movie. This movie is far from being at the bottom tier it’s still a great movie and better than half the MCU
31:10 No, Wanda does not see the future. That vision she gave Tony at the start of the movie is just that: a vision based on Tony's fear. Its not a preset future and she cannot see the future. She just manipulates minds and reads minds, plus she has things like telekinesis (moving objects). You will see her powers flesh out in future movies
She freaked out because she saw in Ultron's head his plan for throwing an asteroid at Earth to try and force humans to evolve so they are strong enough to protect themselves. She didn't see the future, she just read his thoughts since that body (later Vision's body) had organic tissue and a mind, it wasn't just pure robotics like Ultron was this whole movie.
Wanda couldn't read Ultron's mind until he started uploading it to the vision body which was humanoid and she could read him and saw his plan of destruction. The Infinity gauntlet has one stone on back of hand and one in each knuckle including thumb you couldn't see. Wanda's story will come to fruition the more you watch and her brother is called Quicksilver, a speedster.
Veronica is the big iron man armour aka the hulk buster. I don't know why it isn't called the hulk buster in the film. But that's what it is. I watched several cartoons with it in and fighting hulk. Also Tony is always inventing new and improved versions of his armours. He also upgrades war machine armour's too. Your going to see some crazy stuff from tony. Enjoy.
He was probably my favorite marvel villain, personally. Actually it’s my favorite avengers movie because of how “man made,” it was. It’s very AI and how it can be relatively realistic than some herald coming from space to destroy earth. Home grown villains are my favorite.
@31 minutes - now that Ultron was transferring to a vibranium/biological body in the container, she could read his mind and see he planned to destroy all the humans.
That conversation between Vision and Ultron at the end of the movie is one of the best written exchanges in the entire MCU in my opinion.

Vision's character origin is one of the best parts about this movie, as well as Wanda Maximoff's first full appearance in the MCU.
Typical of Joss Whedon's writing.

Human anatomy is truly bizzare.
also the blazing hand of ultron cauterized the veins
I love seeing a reaction where someone is properly emotionally invested in the film and not just observing stuff. That whole idea of family that you connected with is a big theme in the MCU I feel - most of the characters are self-destructive and lonely on their own, but find families in their superhero team-ups. I need to go check out all your MCU reactions now!!
Watching this reaction just feels like what us comic and sci-fi nerds have been steeped in for decades, but discovering it anew. Love it.
James Spader stole every scene Ultron was in. For someone who had no face time, he did an amazing job conveying Ultron's emotions through voice alone.
Could listen to his voice for ever, he alone makes the Blacklist great.
So freaking good.
Wanda wasn't seeing the future, she was just seeing what is in their minds, conscious and unconscious thoughts.
She saw the impact of the city hitting the earth
@@VColossalV Because she looked into Ultron's mind. Or rather, what he was putting into the Mind Stone.
Right and when she attacked the group initially she was forcing them to experience their fears.
@@VColossalVBecause she read Ultron's mind and saw his intentions.
And thor was seeing the future, but that’s because he knew of the prophecy and he was the son of Odin.
Technically Captain America and Iron Man’s fears came to pass too but she doesn’t know -the mind Stone is infinite after all.
'Doesn't know visions name says the word vision 100 times in reaction 😂😂😂😂
Also thor said he had a vision lol
What I love about this movie, besides the fact that it is better than it gets credit for, is that it's really Hawkeye's story at the center. Really appreciate when the "lesser" (we all know he's not in the comics) characters get development.
Oh yeah that's right. Coulson is currently in "Tahiti" recovering (It's a magical place).
Two things:
(1) Barton really had his moments to shine in this one compared to the first Avengers movie, and I love his one-liners.
MCU standard i think it is Odin he most feared. and at this point Odin was withering.
Stef - "Who's the ancient one of Kamar Taj?"
That seems like a spoiler
"If you get killed, walk it off."
Thank you for reacting to that, my favorite line in the movie! No other reaction I've watched included it.
nobody does pep talks like Cap
That's a badass mentality. I love that line.
@@SpFlash1523 how do you say "our lives are expendable, theirs are not" without saying our lives are expendible, theirs are not.
Cap: ☝️
“Ask Noah” gotta be one of the most hardest lines ive heard
One of the most underrated MCU movies. The other 3 Avengers films are all so big and iconic that this one kind of gets forgotten about. But I love it.
I love it when she smiles like a little kid in a candy store...so adorable...
Dr Helen Cho, mother of amadeus cho aka the totally Awesome Hulk.
and more often, sidekick of Hercules!
I hope they introduce him (and reintroduce her) sometime soon!
Stef the red guy with the gem in his head is called VISION!
Hi Stef:
She outright says it at the bar. Living her whole life around men of war and violence, she finally found one who is interested in neither.
Politicians' ideas of peace are rarely equivalent to actual peace.
She didn't see the future, she saw what Ultron was thinking. She couldn't see his thoughts until he connected with the mind (infinity) stone, which in part, her powers come from.
24:45 The Hulk mantra is he gets stronger the angrier he gets
"You're not the type of guy to make the sacrifice play."
Your hunch was correct here. This was what Cap said to Tony in the first Avengers. As you can tell, Cap and Tony often don't see eye to eye on what's best or the direction of the team. That's definitely a recurring theme in these movies, and one that gets blown wide open later in these movies. Great reaction as always!
"Everything special about you came out of a bottle"
- And in the end, they were both wrong about each other...
10:37 - It's called a wardrobe change. The movie goes on, and nobody in the audience has any idea.
Stef: "Her name is Wanda, "WandaVision", that makes sense."
Me: Ahuh
Stef: "I don't know, I am guy, with the Infinity Stone in the middle of his head..."
Me: 🤦♂
1:03:20 imo its probably the fact that even though he has learned to be the hulk on demand, he can still turn if other people will it.
"Not meant for mortal men". I love that he habds a glass to Cap 😂
"WandaVision .. that make sense .. i don't know how the other guy is" .. haha .. thats a good one 😄😄
Hint : he is the other part of WandaVision.
Also funny how often you use the word "Vision" at the end 😂🤣
She was so close lol
Lets fuckin go, she making progress with the story it’s about to get good here on out
Until the multiverse saga where everything went downhill with a little success
@@nasbofficial7796 oh shut the hell up, it's still been amazing
"Your not the one to make the sacrifice play..." ~Steve Rogers
Also.. His name is Vision.
Tony is flawed and that makes him a great character. He's not capable of sacrificing anything especially his ego.
Vision is his name! You got Wanda but missed the Vision spoiler alert because you didn’t really understand this movie
I love how much you love these movies and get involved with the characters etc.. one of the few reactors that makes me feel how only when watching them for the first time in the theaters
❤☺️
Gorgeous emotional performance, Stef, you were just so invested it's beautiful - and yes, in this series of films, the hits just keep coming - I'd suggest a box of tissues readily available for the future...
When my brother let me read his Marvel comic collection in the 1970s, the Avengers was my favorite title and Vision (the 'I Am' guy) became my favorite character. I was very happy with the way he is portrayed in the MCU, they did a great job capturing his thoughtful, kind, and good, nature.
17:15 Endgame.
@Stef Solri. "Between me and you not the internet"....Very well said.
I prefer your genuine reactions without pre-knowledge of a film.
I love that you actually react in your videos! You're awesome Stef!
😢when you cry i cry too. And shows you have a good heart and a good person as well, i admire you Stef ❤❤❤
I already know that I'm going to love this reaction. 😊
This movie has been one of my go-to MCU movies lately.
Wanda can basically see what people are thinking e.g. their plans and can mess with their mind e.g. play on their fears
@@neospock5034 I don't think he said quicksilver is on the same level but the counterpart of the flash for marvel

Stef: "As we continue... the villains seem to get more & more powerful and the hope keeps lessening, so I just get scared."
Me, with 3rd Avengers film flashbacks: "Yeah ;-;"
47:45 Captain America is the one talking to Tony. He said that Tony is not the kind of guy who is willing to "lay down on the wire and make the sacrifice play" from the first Avengers movie
"I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade" might be the coldest line in the entire MCU. I like deadly serious Banner.
I love how much fun it seems like you have watching these movies, Stef! 😄
At the time of release, the film was well criticized for being well below the Avengers (2012) and the entire growth scale of the MARVEL universe, but when you reach Civil War and Infinity War, this film will have a huge impact, especially on dialogues and between the lines.
thats great comment, yes ask us dont use google, reactions are about interaction with your subs also,so your doing great and thx for your uploads
The quote you are looking for to your question i believe is...
47:40 "you're not the one to make the sacrifice play" ~Steve Rogers to Tony Stark. Avengers (2012)
Tony did it twice now, The worm hole, and the bottom Ultrons town Meteor or whatever you call it.
HI Stef....The part where Iron Man hits Hulk with the office lift was filmed in the building where I work (Wembley, London)
Great reaction Stef! And the creation of The Vision is so well done here. And finally Jarvis gets to know what it's like to be humanish. 😀 And that scene handing Thor his hammer was awesome. 🙂
Pietro/Quicksilver's death was a noble one, but it still hurt to see.
We're fighting alien robots on a flying city. I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense.
The Bruce & Nat relationship Was out of the blue, you won't find reference to it in previous movies.
47:53 That was Steve Rogers in Avengers (2012).
9:37 Yeah, DON'T search for info on the internet, you'll get a ton of spoilers.
"Fine, I'll do it myself."
He's coming.
Some really great reactions to the MCU so far. Looking forward to your next movie in the lineup. 😊
Some Infinity Stone background:
They were formed out of the leftover energy when the Universe was created.
2:40 "Troy" is an excellent sleeping pill... but there is one thing... HECTOR!!!!
Wow, Stef gets so emotional while watching these movies and I'm here for it.🥰🤗
The android with the gem in his head is just called "The Vision" or Vision or Viz for short. It's never properly explained, but the subtitles call him Vision.
Stark's ego is the Avenger's biggest enemy.
I think Thor 2 is the definitely the weakest but this is close behind ig 😭 me personally I love this film
@@piyushgyl97So how old is Ultron anyway
James Spader was such a perfect choice for Ultron, everytime he speaks ugh, perfection 👌🏻
Vision and The Scarlett Witch was actually a very popular comic series "back in the day" 😎
Wanda couldn't read Ultron's mind until he started uploading it to the vision body which was humanoid and she could read him and saw his plan of destruction.
