Fun fact: If things had gone differently these two could be married to each other now. When Craig was on the Drew Cary Show and Lauren did Gilmore Girls they filmed both of those on the Warner Brothers lot and Craig always wanted to ask her out but never had the courage, I know hard to believe, to actually do it. He told her on his radio Show last week and she said she would have definately gone out with him had he asked her.

Funny you saying about him asking her out, I do find it hard to believe that he didn't 'have the courage to approach her'. As his present wife was with her then 'boyfriend' when Craig 'spotted' her at a party. He waited until the 'boyfriend' went somewhere and simply started chatting her up, then when the 'boyfriend' returned he told him to get lost, - and that is a known fact, - even Craig has said it more than once.
You are right. It does seem strange but that's how he told it. Maybe he was kidding but it didn't seem that way to me. But who knows?
Yes very odd, but the likes of you and I will never really know. When he says now and then that he got married on a farm, he conveniently leaves out the fact it was her parents farm, who out of interest are millionaires many times over. I've often wondered if it was the money that was the attraction also, I have never seen her, but I understand his wife is younger than him as well.
I just saw her. They did a Facebook live video together before his radio show. She seems very nice. Plus if they both already had a lot of money before getting married then I don't think that it played a huge part because nobody needed the other one for money.
What I find most endearing about her is how she totally cracks herself up! I love people like that; I think that Lauren and Amanda Peet were his best guests ever.....and Mila Kunas! and Sarah Paulson!

What an absolutely lovely creature. You know im starting to think either Craig just had the good fortune to have only the best of humanity on his show, or he just always brought out the brightest light in people.
I would watch a sitcom with the two of them. They have great chemistry. I am a big fan of whatever they do, and I only say that about very few people.

It's weird, looking back on this to see this compared to what Late Night talkshows are these days. There's no way his show would have continued in today's atmosphere, and it hasn't even really been that long.
I know it's been three years, but it's still kinda the same atmosphere (more or less), and I just cannot get over how happy (and how much happier) that time was, when this show was on. It didn't feel anything special at the time, but the contrast with today is quite shocking. Love this trip down the memory lane (not much of a memory, though, as I don't remember most of it... just the general feel)

Apparently he's in talks with a network to come back as a late night host, but he doesn't know of it'll come to be. I sincerely hope it does. Late night really needs someone that pushes the boundaries of PC and woke culture, while also being genuinely funny and heartfelt!

Lauren got into the spirit of Craig and the show right away on her 1st appearance with the "melting people" conversation to the point where it made even Craig uncomfortable and awkward. I don't know if I've seen someone become such a perfect guest on Craig's show so fast.

When I started watching the Gilmore Girls, I liked Rory (at the time, I was young enough for that to be only somewhat ethically questionable). By the time I had finished watching the series for the first time, I had fallen in love with Lorelai. Initially I thought that it was a sign of my age that I had fallen in love with the mom and not the daughter of the show. I was wrong. It was Lauren's entire being. Seeing her interviews, especially with Craig, made me realize how amazing this woman is. She brightens my whole life up; I would enthusiastically cut my life expectancy in half if I could have a modicum of her breathtakingly beautiful life-loving disposition.
I wish they would actually do "Marriage of convenience" together. Would certainly watch it.
They should totally be in a sitcom together!!
From time to time I stumble upon some priceless youtube content that I never saw before, and this is one of those contents. For the author, THANK YOU! I heard about Craig Ferguson, but never watched his show for whatever reason, but on the bright side, now I have a chance to do it this way, and I think in many ways it's even better.
I loved this, been a while I laughed so hard, particularly at Geoff. I love how much more relaxed and open (and funny) she is when she's around her comedian buddies. Thank you for putting this together.
Lauren was an excellent choice for a compilation; great work with these vids! Those regular guests he had, with whom he developed genuine rapport and friendship, their interviews are a blast to watch. They're always the funniest and most interesting -- these 'favored' guests, as it were, are always unguarded, and their appearances are full of such warmth, that it's a treat to watch them have real conversations and genuine laughs with Craig. It looks like these vids are focusing mostly on those true friends of the show, and I think that's a brilliant idea for a channel, so, kudos! I know you're swamped with requests for particular guests, but I have three suggestions who seem to have been among Craig's favorite guests.
I'm sure they've all already been recommended before, and you're possibly already considering them, but I think Joel McHale, Steven Wright and (especially) the late Carrie Fisher would all fit this channel's theme really well; their interviews are all blissfully free of the late-night-talk-show affectation that Craig so admirably rejected, and most importantly they're hilarious! Congrats on the channel's growing success, man.

I appreciate your eloquent input very much indeed! I agree, some guests bring "that something" which is more than the usual, guests such as Lauren here and including your suggested ones. I've considered all of these, naturally. However, I appreciate the suggestions, they give me a little bit of direction and priority among theses thousands of guest:D.

It's like 2 people in armored turrets 3 feet apart blazing away with twin-barreled 50 caliber machine guns at each other. Sure, the bells are ringing and sparks are flying, but we're not sure if it's natural chemistry or just several hundred ricochets per minute clanging off the steel.
I just sprayed milk all over my computer laughing at that stupid bit where he said "you sail your boat, I'll sail mine" bit where Lauren pauses and goes, "well anyway". Why did that make me laugh so much?! I love these two.

Really enjoyed this compilation. You could really sense the chemistry they had. I don't know if there were any "romantic" feelings brewing, especially since these appearances took place over a matter of years, but it's easy to get that impression watching their visits in succession like this. The mold was broken after Lauren was made. She is that one of a kind person that only comes around once in a long time. As a fan of both her and Craig, I only wished that they did a movie and or more together, say a sitcom. They seemed to click and would be great to do so.
I've always been a Lauren Graham's fan sinCE GG. I will always love her. She's one of the most lovable person, if not the most, in my opinion. And Craig was so lucky he got to hug her, flirt with her and be flirted back by her and even be asked out by her.

I have to admit how much I love these Craig Ferguson compilations. I was never a big fan of the show because I was working all night and only saw a few minutes at lunch. But these multiple appearances in order are really great. Loved the Lauren Graham, Mary McCormack and many others. I love the sexual innuendos and the wit. Guess its not politically correct but can spend hours watching these. Thank you for making them.

He was like a brother to Bell, an uncle to Kunis, and a pal to 3 or 4 other reappearing female guests, but Graham was actual relationship potential. It gets a little hot (and even uncomfortable) in the first two-thirds of this long compilation more than a few times. Bad timing for romance, but they made it as friends anyway. A real might-have-been.
