nah it was his mixture of quick wit, irrelevance, worldly knowledge and good sense of humor It was his burden, his *daily burden* I say, that actresses would get on his show and pour themselves over him on public TV. Some of whom were actually quite attractive and interesting themselves. And then he'd have to literally peel them off! I mean imagine doing that 5 nights a week for 10 years. It would drive anyone crazy.

I remember watching the youtube video of Daniela Ruah's first appearance. She was a little defensive and standoff-ish. Kind of expecting a mean spirited Craig (probably prepped by a publist). When Craig started speaking Portuguese her mood just flipped to the positive side. Question: when did Craig have time to learn Portuguese?
