I'll never be able to afford one but I'm happy for everybody who can! Oyster builds magnificient boats!
Beautiful boat! I still prefer the 565, regardless of price I just like the smaller (lol, she's still a massive sailboat!) version. Needless to say, I can't afford either of these fine vessels, but if I could afford it I would definitely go with Oyster!
I would enjoy sailing the South Pacific on a boat like this.
Thank you!
Mouth watering. Literally. The words “mine” and “gimme” spring to mind.
I love Oyster designs - great detailing. Good to see so many owners building in this size. I think this sector is where we will see lots of builds.
There are only two makes of yacht I’d own and an Oyster is one. The other would be a Nautor Swan. Stunning boats
in a different world, the regular people could afford something beautiful like this and enjoy this type of sailing and lifestyle. :)
It will be possible in VR within 80 years. And in real life within 200-300 years as robots, AI, and other technology make resource gathering and production cheaper and cheaper.
This is my dream yacht. I would love to sail around the world with two other couples and three/four crew. This boat could do it.
0:20 LOL Dark wrap-around windows can only be an Oyster. Does Mr. Sheahan need glasses or an instructional video of how to use the Internets? From the close to his heart Gunfleet to the Taiwanese Hylas to... pretty much any custom brand have wrap-around windows.
I am a wildlife photographer. Being able to sail right up to places that can't be reached any other way is going to be a dream come true.
Lack of cockpit protection which would be a must for blue water sailing..
Good Lord, how beautiful is that. I want one !!!
My Dream Yacht! I would love this in a 55 footer.
luke How about a 565\595?
Love to go on a surf trip with this, but where do all the toys and the dinghy go?
Where is the covered area on this boat. No fun sailing this in bad weather of blistering sunny day.
Can the cockpit be protected in bad weather?
Thanks for the comment Robert, the cockpit can of course be protected in bad weather. Every Oyster has a bimini and sprayhood but these tend to be down in when we photograph and film the yachts.
I'll give you a call once I win the lottery!
Truly amazing craft
One thing that confuses me, is why two wheels?
so you can switch depending on what tack you're on. Better visibility, less spray etc.
@@MaMaximillian Ah, okies. Thanks :)
Hi there Oyster UA-cam Staff! Very cool video from the 745, magnetic one with huge attraction power. I am saving money
I am just soooooo happy that I only paid .20 cents on the dollar for my used Bruce Farr custom that this boat wouldn't beat by much given my 250 + miles averaged per day !!!
Cope.
Hi again Oyster UA-cam Staff, ...btw, around how much $ as a baseline, I need to have to give you in case of buying one basic 745 config? Thanks in advance by yr attention. Lz
Lovely
Oh.... so it CAN be sailed by a single owner?
Hello, the sailing controls can be accessed from the helm and therefore make short-handed sailing possible, but for Oysters above the 675 size, we recommend assistance from crew.
Am I the only one who will never have the wealth to buy one of these, but is still bothered by the way water seems to catch on those windows?

It's intentional. Looks sensational from inside....
And no cold weather pilot house ugh
does it have a garage for a tender ?
Thank you for your question Maruska croco. Yes there is an option for a tender garage on the Oyster 745.
thx
Can it also sail with wind?
No, afraid not. Motor only. Those big white sheets are just styling.
Подарите мне яхту! А я вам свой старый автомобиль подарю с новой резиной.
For how many days does this boat store water? If am at sea for whole year. How will that be? thanks
8wealthyone8 Boats this size might have around 1700-2000 litres of fresh water capacity or even more. However, it will also have a water maker that makes freshwater from seawater. So, you could potentially have water for showers and drinking indefinitely. You plan on being at sea for a year? Non-stop??
Question of an imbecile !!!
How much does it cost?
3 to 4 million
Hi there, Prices start at £3.15million ex. VAT for the Oyster 745.
How about Senior Citizen discount?
Maha per-ree seniors are the richest of them all
Weazel Cartoons lol
250 nautical miles per day fast for a its size.
Sorry to see Oyster go!
Archibald Tuttle Now back, hurrah!
Sailing??
What, not a word about the Oyster's british gelcoat being shinier than the Frenchie Amel's or guido Grand Soleils? Not to mention it is 1.25 microns thicker! Shoot the traitor at dawn.
Seriously though, it IS what Mr.Sheahan said it's not - a plug in the range. It sits JUST between the comically oversized Amel parody 675 (70 is the new 50) and the ridiculous 885 with its stupefying labirynth of walls and doors. It's a beautiful boat, I'll give you that, but it's little more. There is no revolution there. Mr.Sheahan can yap about "clean flush decks" for another 7 minutes but it won't change the fact that this is just... another boat. A well made (let's hope they learned how to glue keels to the hulls), decently joinered and leehman-brotherly expensive toy for boys who can still get it up at 70.
Stop using teak on the boat, it gets too hot in the sun and overtime needs to be replaced. How about some sun cover for the helmsman, being exposed to the sun like that is awful.
Its just for the video
