I once had a guy standing outside my door. The sick bastard had a bunch of grocery bags full of God knows what. Stood outside for hours yelling for me to the let him in. My Dad went missing that same day. I don't know if the two are connected. The last thing he said to me was "I'm going to the store". He had such a way with words

But if we're gonna solve this case for sure, we need more information from you! Did the guy have a similar physique? Was his voice at all familiar to you? How long was your dad gone before the other guy (who might in fact possibly have been your dad) appeared? I think we're really close to cracking this thing!!

The biggest jumpscare in the video was Joel quickly transitioning into an actual outro. That was genuinely terrifying

I feel like Kevin could've taken into account that Joel washed the knife he was planning on stabbing him with when he decided he didn't wanna be friends anymore. That shows strength of character, to make sure your victim has a clean wound, even if they're a sick fuck bozo who scared the crap outta you

A few weeks ago, I was canvassing knocking on doors wearing a dark green knit hat and a dark gray fleece. One door I knocked on, they opened at first but then stared at me in terror before slamming the door shut. They then ran deeper into the house shouting "police!!!" and then other people were running around shouting as well.
After that, I took my hat off for the rest of the doors even though it was a bit cold 😂
This reminded me a bit of that.

This "barely a concept" video has an fantastically organic flow of events, with a different feel to the logic and pacing than most other Joel vids. When I write scenes for my book, some are highly "scripted," and others I only have a loose scenario I know has to take place, and when I get there, I just throw the characters together and roll with it...That has lead to some of the most interesting cases of how a scene develops that I have! It's great to mix things up in your creative process, sometimes hyperdeveloping things in advance, sometimes heavily improvising, sometimes following your cognitions, sometimes following vibes and intuitions. Keep experimenting, Joel! This is an excellent vid!
What fieldmedic doesn't know is that at the end of the video, he actually just agreed to make 11 more videos with Joel, at the time of Joel's choosing, with the exact amount of clothing that Joel chooses.

Ngl this is instantly one of my favorites. You can really see the light in Joel's eyes when he feels his friend's song punch his heart, much like Thor was punched by the Dark Elves in Thor: The Dark World.
You could really see how Joel's character was filled with joy as he heard Kevin sing, much like how Dr. Jane Foster was filled with the Aether in Thor: The Dark World.
I feel this title about almost anything I make.
