Mine seem to miss frequently lol. I had DBS-404 bomb a ship. 1 red + 1 red for AI bonner + 1 red for its ability. All 3 blanks. Rerolled with bomber command center… into another blank…
I think this is one of those matchups where best practice is to just not use Invisible Hand at all and deploy your flagship after all your squads. The title is extremely powerful against lists with squads of their own, particularly those running a maxed out squadron force, but has relatively little use when you can't capitalize on the AI+1 bonus to end the squad battle with an alpha strike.
Holy crap! That was close! Man, I wish my red dice were like yours Ken. Those bomber shots...insane! Good win John, your flak shots...also insanely good. Invisible hand is a little pricey for what it does, I've used it once with bunch of tri-fighters to clobber a squad ball, but haven't tried a bomber wing. My red dice suck, so nervous about that trick! Always love your show lads!
@@IONRadio i tryed to get a nebulon b working, with Salvation Titel and extra dice of Spinal Armament or something, thougt that would bring a lot of damage, but even with firepower out of 5 red dice i get maybe 2 damage, red dice just hate me, nice to see at least someone get good rolls with these things :D
@@janulrich4531 Imagine me with Salvation and Spinal... 5 red dice (CF) = 7 damage with an accuracy. John would ignore every other ship on the table just to kill that one Neb-B. LOL. - Ken
Another Nice vid guys Btw.. couldnt your MC75 shot on Grevious take used of the Home One title and swap the blank to an accuracy..? That would have killed him I believe
My guess after seeing lists: MC80 destroys Invisible Hand at the beginning of turn 3 due to it not having ECM. The recusant is finished off beginning of round 4, and the squads don't have enough time to do their thing. 10-1 Rebels. Let's watch and see how this goes!
How frequently do you use the Leia officer? I know it's a standard include for GR75 builds, but I can't think of a time when I have run Leia or seen others run Leia where she was actually used.
Question: i love the recusant, i have 2 of them. Should i buy a third one? I never see a triple recusant build on youtube, would you recomment it or not?
We only really see 2 on the table at a time. I’m not sure that it would be worth a third Recusant. You might be better off with a second starter to get another munificent.
Hi guys, love your reports but I think there were several shots you didn’t make with the destroyer where you thought you didn’t have arc or range… range is measured from the shortest distance in arc from ship card to ship card hull zone… in general, if you can see a part of the ship card in arc you’ll be able to make the shot.
My bad, unless the arc couldn’t see the MC75 side, which I think is where you ended up, the initial ruler placement seemed to allow the side to side shot… keep up the great reports love the cinematic shots and end of round updates of my favourite game
@@saml7423 So, you caught it before we could say something. The arc line would allow double to the front hull zone, not the side. You can see this a little more clearly at 25:56. In this case LOS was blocked from both the side and front to the defending front. We tend to measure these 4 or 5 times off-camera (range and arc). Sometimes the camera angle can trick you into thinking a shot is possible. :)
Those Hyena's just don't miss. My heart dropped when I saw those nav dials turn over Ken. Overall a good episode! Thanks to you both!
Yeah, a learning moment to be sure...

I was hoping to face another squadron fleet - alas the matchup did not happen as hoped for.

you two do a great show, thank you. Always entertaining to see ken roll fine red double hits again and again.
There seems to be 2 things I do well: Roll doubles on Red dice and maneuver my ships. LOL
Thank you for the support, Jan!

Love the video! Those sepratist ships look gorgeous. I love the darker coloring. Keep up the good work.

Deployment was different than I thought so the MC-80 never got it's blue range shot off. Rebels did a good job staying at range.
@@markstenquist2315 It wound up being a lot closer than we were expecting. Seems to be the general trend this season...

I think this is another "Gamermats" mat.

I have a Cracken list where she comes in handy... You may see this in Season 3.

John could have used Leia to change the mc80 dial to con fire a couple of times in this which would have been useful.
