Hey you have any helium in stake? I don't know where is the best way to do that.
I just got my rak v2. And having issues everytime I try onboarding. It says something went wrong 'object object'. Any ideas? I'm going f'in crazy
I just received my Goldspot miner, and this problem appears at the end of the setup: no_onboarding_key
Any idea of the issue here?
i get "hotspot not found on onboarding server" error when i try and connect through bluetooth. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Tario, that’s for details my man, you’re really well into what you’re doing!
1. I’ve got my first MNTD and second one is coming. Did you say it takes 1-2 days for a miner to finish syncing? No estimated time showed in the MNTD app.
2. Do we ever use Helium app for the MNTD miners (I didn’t find those miners in options there)?
3. Do we have to do wifi forwarding to make the IP permanent for each miner?
4. Are any of your miners connected to Ethernet directly? If so, do they get more rewards and so you still have to do IP permanent forwarding?
1. My miners took around 1-2 days, some times do expect a few days to sync.
2. All miners have to with Helium App. (MNTD miners are made by company called RAK)
3. You don't want to put all your miners at a single place. For IP reservation, watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/5UgDMG_g3qI/v-deo.html
4. I use Wifi on all my miners, not Ethernet. I don't think one is superior to another.
is it necessary to port forward as ill be using my phone as a hotspot for the WIFI i already run antminer from it and 5 GPU's
Thanks for the videos. Question: Is a High Gain 10dBi Outdoor Omni-Directional 915mhz Long-Range Cellular LoRa Gateway Antenna good for the MNTD Helium Goldspot Miner (Gold)?
It really depends on your location, if you're far away from all the miners, then higher dbi antenna will help you 'shoot' the signal far to reach them. But if you're close to all the miners or urban city environment, you don't need to have that high of an antenna, it will over shoot the miners around you.
With that said, I normally get 5.8 or 8 dbi antenna max.
How often do the drops happen and can you sell coins in CAD or is it only in USD?
Once a while, so subscribe to their newsletter to get notified. And yes, you can move the coins to exchange like binance and convert to other coins or sell it there.
Can I use mntd miner outside? It's under shelter however rain can make miner wet a bit.
You probably don't want to get it wet.

Hello, what you think what is bether, i have an Blackspot Miner ,the Antenna with 2.8db want change to an 8 dB Antenna on my Window , 2 Meters over the Floor , or an Antenna with 12db with 8 Meter Cabel and Mount it over the Top from the House. What you recommend, please
Depends on your living area. Don't use more than 10dbi + antenna, stick with 5.8 or 8dbi.
I’m literally still waiting for mine to register. Today will be a week. It’s really annoying and I’ve done everything right. I don’t get what’s up with it

The goldspot I think is supposed to be a limited edition and also has more memory
I hear that they break down or go offline a lot. I tried to obtain in the US drops twice before with no luck. I am registered for the next selected US drop so just curious about problems/issues that may arise with this miner (gold). Thanks!
So far I don't have break down or offline situation on my MNTD.
I think the old 32G SD card MNTD went offline a lot. The new ones come with 64G SD card. I just received my black spot MNTD yesterday. Took 9 days to receive it.

i have two questions, i just got mine and im setting it up. i connected my through a ethernet cable directly to my modem, would that be ok or should i connect it to the router? second question my miner is syncing for a while now, is that normal or is there something i missed? thank you
You can do Ethernet no problem. But still need to do port forwarding.
Syncing could take a few days (up to a week) depends on the miner.

Question is can you open a port if you do not have a router and without a router will you always be on relay, it's not gonna matter in a few days a few weeks but that is the question wthat was asked today

It can't be 100% stable, plus it wont' get you rich, but if you're looking for a form of passive income, and spending 500 is acceptable, then it's worth giving a try.

Are you referring to stock antenna? If yes, it’s for indoor.
My raks are syncing or offline way more than any of my synchrobits or sensecaps
Mine is the opposite. Bobcat syncing or offline more often than MNTD.

It depends on the token price (varies every day), also depends on your location, witnesses, etc. I mentioned my avg earning towards the end of the video.
