My machete 6s is getting a replacement pinion gear due to a stripped grub screw. I also noticed the amount of thread lock was a bit excessive… one of the motor mount screws stripped as well.
Such a nice rig is this redact man😁 I think with a better esc this would be wild😉 I think there should actually BE a 1/7 scale esc as with that scale I find their always underpowered with the 150amps Wouldn’t mind seeing a torox 185 even
I hope your able to fix the update parts no sweat and be back out with more firepower in the esc department somehow 🤤💯 Don’t think I’ve seen an upgraded esc’D machete 🤭👋🏿👋🏿
I know it's been a while since you made this video but I see you're still making videos so hopefully you'll still see this comment. So the arm that you broke it was the old arm before the updated versions? Because I've got the new release of the machete with the updated arms and everything and so far dude I have definitely mangled it a couple of times and the only thing that's happened so far is the rear steering knuckle screw came out but all I had to do is take the screw out and put it back together nothing is broken so far and I've hit pretty damn hard not probably that hard but pretty am hard anyway thanks man appreciate the videos lets me see some of the cool stuff that I can do soon
@therchotspot thank you That's what I thought That's good to hear. I'm getting ready to run mine right now with the new 19 tooth pinion gear and a pretty solidly locked center diff not completely locked but pretty solid so we'll see how it runs
Did you also change the motor in your kaiju or just the esc?
Just esc. And it woke the stock motor up!
Does it overheat? What size pinion?
No it doesn't. 11t
Nice run bro 🚀 i hope machete v2 should be with m2c rpm.. stuff 😅
Interested to see how the upgraded parts hold up that Redcat provides. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, they like to overdo it with thread lock sometimes
Could you tell what esc you used to get more power from your Kaiju? I might want to try it out for my machete 6.
I used a spektrum 6s esc but honestly I would use a blx185. Thats what Im going to do
@@therchotspot thanks for the reply.
Tho a castle would just be Fine and dandy on the worse day🥳😁😁👌🏿
Needs a Hobbywing max6 g2 200a in it 🤟
Hell of a backflip bro I'm jealous of shit hahaha!!!!

I agree with all of that! Its definitely to small an esc for 1/6th scale
I’ll bet a hobbywing ezrun max8 g2 and 4278 2250kv combo would liven the machete up.
@Nlangkirby135 You are probably right with going for the whole combo, but I think I'm going to try an esc first

I see your comment. It was the old arm I broke. The new ones have been fine for me.
