Wee-Woo is a 2 year old talking Starling that I found when she was about 4 days old and raised her.
She is saying "give me a kiss" - "who is a pretty boy" "who is a pretty T"(T is my dogs name)
"hey buddy what you doing" plus she can say many more words.
Omg these are wild birds that come on my balcony....never knew they can talk!
Starlings make great pets and they are so smart! I rescued one 4 weeks ago and I just love this little bird!
There is one in my neighborhood that screams. When I first bought my house I couldn't get over it for like two years because I have small kids who would play in the yard and it would trip me out!! LOL
Your Starling sounds better than any parrot I've ever heard. This is the first time I've heard a Starling speak human words and I'm totally blown away! Too cool!
What a cutie! There's a starling near me that loves to startle people - he imitates a falcon screech & a red tailed hawk, (we have a peregrine & some hawks in the area, so I guess the starling is enjoying his ability to imitate the raptors).
amazing wow, they have such an incredible range but as much as the wild starlings which visit my garden and mimicking my whistles. I am pleasantly suprised they are exceptional talkers wow.

Starlings are such beautiful and intelligent birds, it breaks my heart to know what farmers and our country does to them! What a smart little boy, he seems very happy.

I've been watching lots of starling vids today and this is the best mimic of human voice I've heard so far, great bird you have there!
i just learned that my neighbors have a starling that talks too...saying "Here kitty kitty...Did you poop on me" etc....so crazy that they can talk!
You did a great job with her...thank you for rescuing her. Her talking is amazing...I can tell you've spent time with her teaching her so well. Very cool. Thanks for making the video so we could enjoy seeing and listening to her also!
I have been a bird watcher for 19 years and I have never heard a Starling talk! Thats amazing!

I have a starling too. I found him when he was 3 days old. He'll be 8 years old this coming June. He talks and sings beautifully. I love him so much and he is one very spoiled little boy. LOL

Aw I saw this on the starlingtalk site! My little guy imitates all the whistles I taught him, and understands basic commands, and comes when called! I love starlings, they are great companions. :)

wow ive never heard such clarity from a bird before ive seen and heard parrot talking but this starling is unbelievable and has better grammar and english than i do !! and im english

You're so right....animals understand a lot more than we think...it's like a baby learning a language but not learning to speak it. I have 2 starling chicks that are 14-16 days old, and they will make amazing pets for me. Their names are Jack and Jill and they learned their names in 2 days. They're so intelligent it astounds me. Even my parakeets know my emotions and will make certain noises corresponding to my mood. If I'm crying or looking sad they'll make silly noises or fall silent...
You find this scary? That says a lot about human kind. This is an awesome gift of nature. Birds in general are great creatures and highly intelligent. Most of which are the small variety that can talk.

This is really interesting to see- all that wittering they do in the trees, it suggests that some of it is repetition of what they're hearing from certain other birds.

WOw the words are so clear two i have a 9 year old male parakeet that says pretty birdy, bird bird, and mimics kissing and sneezing noises and he also picked up the s word lol But its amazing that u have a bird this tamed !

Hahaha, that's awesome! I love it when he says 'Hey buddy, whatcha doing?" I can't tell what the third thing he says is. I can understand 'Gimme kiss' but not the other sentence that sounds like a robot.

AMAZING! Until I saw this video I had no idea that starlings could talk! Not only can Wee-Woo talk, but he can talk very well. It's very easy to understand everything he's saying since his speech is so clear --- with the exception of that space ship noise he throws into "What's buddy ???" That's a really funny noise, though. ;-)

Thanks for this video. I've got a crazy bird that lives in my apartment complex who likes to mimic car alarms and cell phones all day. I've always wondered what the heck it was. I never would have guessed a Starling.

Wow thats wierd. Sounds like some kind of voice synthesiser! I have on a couple of occasions heard everyday sounds from birds, once a mobile ringtone and once the reversing beep sound from a vehicle, just whilst on usual walks. Never heard speech though, impressive!
It is unreal. Am I being fooled into believing this? But no matter, I just love it.
