I went with Victory arrows. One of the factors was they come with the spine indexed. I watched a few videos where it was shown they're markings are pretty accurate. I figured it can't hurt to be consistent with the spine on my shots.

Who are the a-la-carte arrow manufacturers where we can choose the nocks and insert/outsert systems that we desire without having to scrap the parts that come with the arrow? Even have them cut the carbon to the length we want. Are there any out there? I just use what comes with the shafts but the a-la-carte system would be interesting, you would just need to know the OD of the shafts and get the parts that would fit that.
Most brands have an arrow that comes with components that are good enough to get the job done on any animal in North America.

Anyone KNOW at what point in flight does FOC become relevant? How much FOC? Does a 27” arrow need less than a 29”? At what point does a high ( 18-20%?) FOC or more change the spine deflection enough to cause flight consistency on non- spine aligned shafts. How many people shoot well enough to even worry about this? Does the arrow flex enough between an 80 grain point and 120 grain point to create flight issues other than trajectory? Is all the FOC stuff important?
I’m not sure when the foc topic began to be discussed on a regular basis. I do believe there is validity to it, just maybe not as important as some would like to make it out to be.
